  1. Must admit I feel like it's a long shot that there's anyone else on here who's either a relevant medical professional or has dealt with the exact same thing, which is what would be needed to give anything like the right advice in the context (but hey always worth a shot). Salomon are up and down with regards quality to say the least, I've heard decent reviews of the Terrex but you can never know for sure until you buy a set of shoes and spend significant time in them. All I could suggest is don't limit yourself to the tactical realm of products as that's very limited comparatively and is not at all necessary for this game. Find a specific pair that'll best help your situation first, at which point you can use (for example) brown polish on any colour of leather, or a light dusting of spray paint on any synthetic material, if really necessary.
  2. Pretty much, some type of sheet to catch little falling parts. Majority of sites I've been to have benches with the standard slotted top surface which are absolutely perfect for helping with losing small items/anything that rolls.
  3. Seconds on the PDI W-hold for hop units that don’t like ML rubbers. I can confirm that they don’t like anything heavier than .30g even at 1.5+J. Mine perform the best using .25g. I like the PDI W-Hold or Modify Ryusoku for “legacy” spec hop units, those being tighter than newer design and less likely to accept ML rubbers. If an ML rubber can be used, then that is my recommendation. I will also be happy using Krytac Orange and Blue, G&G Blue, and I’ll flathop just about anything. In general, using the correct nub and with correct stabilization, you can make almost any rubber perform excellently. The key is in using the proper nub shape, and how you set up the rest of your barrel group around the rubber.
  4. Sweden. Organized events tends to be a bunch of dudes in multicam with Systemas claiming they can hear the bbs bouncing of their kits but in reality they never notice when hit - same as everywhere I suppose 🤷🏻‍♀️ When I was active we used to just fill a couple of cars on the weekends and head for the forest or some abandoned site and do our thing. I don't like bureaucracy ^^ This answered the question I do appreciate this but I am very aware of it also- see my forum stats and this reply Either way it is more about adding VSR platform to my loadout than anything else ^^ and I do appreciate your help!
  5. I wouldn't say folk here are abrasive, to me it's more like people post what they think. Personally I prefer this to other places (particularly fb groups) where nobody is allowed to post anything slightly negative incase someone gets offended. Just because you can't report the e mail address to anyone doesn't mean you can't have some fun at their expense. Sign them up for as many dodgy mailing lists as you can, or maybe give it as contact details to the next spammer advertising drugs or voodoo spells.
  6. Normal/common airsoft zamak 'pot metal' is an alloy with aluminium in so of course the waters remain muddy as ever in this game, I've seen way too many product descriptions say aluminium alloy when the gun is clearly mostly zinc, but the scales don't lie so it'll be easy to tell. The Guarder extended Glock mags are quoted at 210g but they're £85 from Fire-Support, whereas these mags are up for pre-orders right now and LWA is doing a 3 pack for £115. If they're actually made from a decent aluminium and are in the region of the weight of the Guarders then £38.30 per mag is a crazy bargain. Makes the entire notion of running a GBB SMG primary look totally different to just about anything else out there that I know of, purely based on the weight/price of the mags. I could honestly see other guns springing up to specifically use these mags even though there's already quite a few out there that take TM/VFC Glock mags.
  7. I can't find an exploded diagram of the gearbox, so I haven't got a clue what the part number would be. I'm gonna try and use 4 different screws and 4 nuts instead, as I don't think the plate itself holds anything in place that the 4 nuts wouldn't also hold if tightened correctly.
  8. Hope the boy doesn't read this....but it was a real banger of a day at Special Ops. About 50 - 60 turned up, but a lot were new players and younglngs. One of the Marshalls had their kid's 15th birthday there so a lot of teenagers rocked up which was a little worrying at first sight, only for them all to be really great kid's who made the most of their time. A lot of regulars were missing, which was shame, but not a surprise given the heat. Games were the usual fair....zombies to warm up, then some attack and defend. We on the skins side had the most familiarity with the site, so the day was a total wipe out, with one game won in 90 seconds, which on turnaround I think we timed them out.... the objective being to run through the church entrance, get the bomb and then get it to the tent. Had a few awkward moments, one being during Team Deathmatch, where I snuck round a tarpaulin barricade only to find a poor solitary teenager. I decided to switch to my pistol to be kind, only to find it wasn't cocked....but poor lass didn't see me until I put my RIF down and cocked my Glock and ....well...🤣🙊. The next was almost a carbon copy but with said teenager's friend....all I could see was a face mask....so face mask was what was shot, again though, I could tell it was a youngling, so switched to the Glock because the L85 was right in the limit again. Baby Specna and Double Eagle didn't get a run today as I was using the boy's Longer Specna we picked up secondhand from here. A very good £120. Thing is as we bought it, plus a good LVPO and bipod and was shooting like a laser. Only problem being a little mag fussy. L85 was a little temperamental, but that was due to overspin because I put an 11.1v in it. Switched to 7.4v and it was a dream until the riser came lose without my noticing - apart from having to aim into the next county to hit anything. Lunch as always was free, tasty and plentiful. Water was guzzled by the gallon (11 litres by my count) but I'm still thirsty as anything and peeing treacle. Fan powered antifog Once again was flawless, although the battery died about halfway through the afternoon. Looking forward to going back in a couple of weeks.
  9. There's like a super specific allenkey size (I want to say 1,27mm, but I am probably off) used in MP5 or MP5k, you might want to see if there's anything like that for your MP7. I'd say electrical tape and cable ties but they've already been said
  10. We Makarov? No rail but some creativity could add one. Certainly it can be made accurate, at least as far as anything airsoft can be.
  11. When I took the gun into the shop I showed them the issue with the original motor, they listened to me explain the problem, so they suggest a high torque motor which I was fine with, but then we start chatting airsoft components and I mention wanting to put a decent mosfet in the gun because I wanted to run a higher voltage but also protect the motor and other components, they mentioned they had one ready for installation and I was really up for it, like comic character having stars for pupils level excited (cringe I know). Two weeks later they tell me that the aster wasn't compatible with the original gearbox, I did think about it but went ahead anyway, the only real point of pressure was when I got the gun back they kept trying to sell me a metal hop unit that I didn't really want. As said in part 1, I completely understand that I should've listened to my gut instinct and left the original gearbox but I was too excited. That is what happened with the process, basically the nature of this post was more of a... vent, I suppose? With a warning if anyone else came forward, but I was fuming when I typed the OP because of the extra money I have to spend getting the gun rebuilt. My tech is currently sending puctures, I assume he's going to send it with the invoice in my Email. Once again, I am sorry if my story seems misleading or untrue, tbh with the amount of false claims made about anything else I too would take this with a pinch (or spoon) of salt and treat this skeptically. As I type I am remembering small details (some larger than others admittedly) so it presents a whole new problem, it's trait I've had all my life especially because of my learning disabilities. So this is actually the one plausible pic I took before sending to the tech, it was taken after we got the gearbox out, the second pic on part one was most definitely me trying to get the body pin back in as I had issues with the phillips screws in the pistol grip.
  12. Ignoring the time gap, what exact is your complaint? Tech work quality? Tech work advice? It seems there are four elements to your complaint: Tech workmanship related: "Non-airsoft" Gate Aster was installed Wiring with "metric ton" of superglue Nuprol motor "too strong" Advice related Being mislead into agreeing the work Can you provide pictures of the Gate Aster or anything that says it is "non-airsoft"? Can you provide pictures of the amount of superglue in your gearbox or where you think is the problem? Can you provide model name of this Nuprol motor and also your spring, gear ratio, and battery used? Can you describe what was the process of you agreeing to the work?
  13. As above. For me it's a small set of allen keys, a couple of screw drivers and a roll of electrical tape. Anything which requires more than that can be done at home
  14. i'm gonna offer the alternative solution: don't bring anything or in longer form, trying to work on a pew in the safe zone is at best going to be an exercise in frustration and at worst the easiest way to lose bits. do the work at home, get your gun in good order, and bring a spare (or two) if you can't accomplish it with a leatherman within a minute, it's probably a job worth waiting until you get home.

Skirmished a handful of times, so some minor marks present but still in good condition overall. This pistol is totally stock and will come in it's original box with 1 x leak free/working mag and extra broken mag for spares/repair. Only selling as I rarely play these these days. Stated price includes PayPal feels and tracked postage. Please PM any questions as I don't get notifications for anything asked on the listing.

    £95

  16. I think the amount is more the issue, I'll get Matt to send me photos to show, because he didn't want to risk removing anything and wrecking it entirely This was last year in the summer, if I recall correctly Fair enough, I don't mind you doing that, fact is I am kind of screwed either way because I'm not getting money back, and I know that nobody else is going to come forward, I was really angry when I typed this out.

Modelled on an Agency Arms Glock 17, this comes with the kind of features usually found on far more expensive builds. These include slide cutout to lighten, aggressive front serrations, factory stipple-effect (Lone Wolf) frame, extended slide release, flared magwell and adjustable flat trigger. This particular one was skirmished just once, so is in great overall condition. Only selling as I'm currently whittling my collection down to pieces I know I'll skirmish on the occasional times I go these days. Stated price includes PayPal feels and tracked postage. Please PM any questions as I don't get notifications for anything asked on the listing.

Unlike most of these you'd buy from a UK retailer, this one has Detonics markings. It's in very good overall condition. It feels solid and heavy in the hand. Comes with a one leak free mag, one leaking mag, full Guarder aluminium hop unit kit and Maple Leaf bucking. I have reduced the price because it's started not locking back and firing strangely on either magazine. I'm not going to say "easy fix" as I don't know, but I have priced accordingly. Stated price includes PayPal feels and tracked postage. Please ask any questions via PM as I don't get notifications for anything added to the listing.

  19. I'm very grateful! I didn't know anything about crimping, beyond what these guys taught me...
  20. It may be nature (Darwin). It may be nurture (Locke). It could also be Nietzsche though. Maybe he has the will to power to be an arsehole. Given his bigoted nonsense, anything's possible. He doesn't deserve the oxygen of publicity, nor the oxygen of oxygen to be frank.
  21. I should have added a : hugely rolling eyes in sarcasm: emoji after my comment about my skills 😋. So thanks for the hints. I will take care with the crimp but my soldering 'skills' would likely be worse than anything I do with some pliers! (I am trying quite hard to avoid spending £15 on a crimp tool that I won't get much use out of)
  22. Anything electrical I swear by 12voltplanet. No association just happy customer. https://www.12voltplanet.co.uk/
  23. From what I gather currently, pretty much anything military related is being held for Russian troops and exports have taken a back seat, also Russian customs is is cracking down on military related items confiscating anything deemed useful to their war effort. A lot of Russian webs store are also taking crypto only due to sanctions, so at the moment PayPal is not an option, some store have apparently manage to circumvent this but I have not seen it. If your wanting real steel Zenitco, private seller/second hand market are the popular option at the moment, there are a number of Facebook pages like Northern Pact and Red market just put up a wanted post. There also https://39bullets.com/improvement/zenitco-tuning/ based in Poland, but I have not bought from them in a while so I can not comment on their current reliability. All else fails there maybe an airsoft version of the Zenitco parts you want, cheaper and more readily available.
  24. Like the other folks have said you're better off with a 'dry' gas, the silicone is being sprayed through your hop rubber and barrel which messes with your accuracy and means you have to clean a lot more often. As for seals, I think you're better off doing them manually with a decent grease (something like superlube 21030, I've started using that based on recommendations from the heavy recoil club discord and it works brilliantly for everything GBB). I've been running ultrair pretty much all year round and now with the orange/red stuff they've put out I'm sorted if I need anything when it gets a bit colder. Super5ives also do the ultrair orange/red and works out a few quid cheaper. Free postage over £50 so pretty decent if you stock up on a few at once! The regular/brown cans you can pick up at one of the generic bbguns websites in bulk and works out about 5/6 quid a can or thereabouts.
  25. Why do you keep boosting something that is never going to sell? The best thing that you could do with this utterly broken toy would be to strip it down, salvage anything that is worth keeping and then cut the body up and put it in the bin.
