They are ALL lying even more and more than before.... I mean I do bollox & bull$hit but these guys are the true masters I'll explain - all of them know they are never gonna get in on their own - pretty damn clear that is So they go out of their way now and offer all sorts of crap in their pledges - way more than before Why - simple - they won't get in on their own anyway and when challenged why they never fufilled their pledge They will simply just do what they do best - blame all the others In particular the OTHER party we formed a coalition with blocked us from fufilling our pledges we made Oh joy the bull$hit floodgates are well & truely open wide now - as long as they don't get an overall majority they can lie their ar$es off (actually they was already doing that but now they are pledging to bull$hit us even more - that pledge I do believe they can fufill)

uhm why not a g36c ??? or mp5k or something ambidexterous - or whatever - selector on both sides so suits left or right handed people or peeking left or right compact & light compared to a full metal or bigger gun

This is a bad Fire Hawk and I don't think it is a lemon on its own LWA sold the other 2 - yes I was considering getting another but glad I didn't atm it would be interesting to see where or if the other owners post their findings before I really slate it But some DSG builds only hit 35 - somebody put a dual sector fire hawk on you tube and was quite pleased with it but was hitting a lowish 260fps !!! (soz but that is mega pi$$ poor crap performance on 11.1v) And seen on ACM a 38rps steady build which I presume is on 11.1v To me I think the whole DSG crap is over rated - if you don't hit 40+ why bother ? a SSG short stroked with say m120 will perform quite well and ain't gonna need a mofo spring/spacers to get a half stroke up to the ooomphhhh To be honest I was erghing n uhmming about bothering with a DSG build but reckon I will shelve my own and go with a short stroke hi rate of fire on hi speed gears or I might say wtf and have a go - probably break very very quickly but surely can't be any less performing than this FH (stop calling me Shirley) I kind of was expecting a bit higher end build - wires fet (that melts but at least wired for fet) was lead to think this bitch will really kick ar$e on 7.4v at near 30 - but strongly feel owner needs to finish job themselves and go the whole bloomin hog or rewire/deans/fet etc..... - think motor might be a good one if it pulling higher spring but normal pistol grip not G26 one like Top Tech ones had at launch Now it might be a bit qwerky - or a possible bit lemony so to speak but I gotta go to work soon and only had a very quick blast test with it yes could try deans n stuff - it might but doubt have a fet tucked away in stock tube But just giving you a heads up at very least about no semi - full auto only out of box (probably they didn't fit the cut off lever in there that's all - hope dsg has the "lugs" to operate if you fitted lever) so think carefully before you scramble and think of selling off some stuff to get one It ain't quite what it appears or how you are lead to think is what I'm saying (G&G crafty sods with first batch of FH's with TT internals but then went stock CM - well slower 22:1 gears I found in my stock FH) Started to crack her open and has a "Powerful" G&G motor in there - well so they say it is still a ferrite motor not a neodym - in fact same motor as fitted to "normal" FireHawk see this thread/pic for details - http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/index.php/topic/23894-g-g-firehawk-low-rof/page-2#entry179124 yup a bit more torquey perhaps than stock but not ultra torquey imho and deffo not super duper quick This was fitted to stock FH with 22:1 gears and that is why the main subsequent batches of FH's were slower than the first Top Tech ones UPDATE - found the reason why a std FireHawk fires slower than the first TopTech launch ones G&G fitted a 8 tooth bevel gear in there instead of the normal 10 teeth bevel hence your actual ratio of aprox 18.65:1 goes up 20% to about 22.38:1 !!!! So that is why the normal FireHawks were not firing as fast as the TopTech ones - mystery solved f*ck knows why they did that - must be the same designer who built the dsg FH with no semi ??? (a good lesson kids - don't do drugs at work !!! ) Now gotta consider if I rip her right open and maybe install the possible missing cut off lever, rewire & fit a fet ??? Yeah - wtf lets 'ave some......

The 2 batteries I used on HC05 (11.1v has a xt60 but with small tamiya adapter) the 7.4v used was a Turnigy Nano Tech 25c-50c - too long for crane stock dual nunchuck not brill but ok for AK's under the top cover http://www.hobbyking.co.uk/hobbyking/store/__17289__Turnigy_nano_tech_1300mah_2S_25_50C_Lipo_AIRSOFT_Pack.html 11.1v 25c 2200mah Zippy Compact block battery: http://www.hobbyking.co.uk/hobbyking/store/__21346__ZIPPY_Compact_2200mAh_3S_25C_Lipo_Pack.html and the 7.4v performs ok on other guns the 11.1v was a bit fresh off charge and for what its worth - take a 7.4v rof & give it 50% - the extra cell of course = expected rof on 11.1v hence if you get 20 on 7.4v you "should" get 30-ish on 11.1v or a rough idea of what to expect so I think the 7.4v wasn't that far behind what it should be First impressions - should of just remade the inital Top Tech Fire Hawk's imho

good gun - but comes with crap 120 mid cap (get better mag or some high caps) all G&G aeg's come with "aprox" 330fps out of box not that common to get one way above that tbh most sites run a bit above the 100m/sec or 328fps usually 350 is the limit BUT a few sites enforce 328 & a few others allow 340 (think The Mall Reading is 340 but don't quote me) my own site and numerous others are 350 max some sites and very very strict and the odd one or two don't seem to give a toss but most chrono up to a max of 350 - no more YOU need to check with the site you are thinking of using it at really ps - the cm18 is really nice or a 30th edition GC16 mod1 but this isn't all railed up like cm18 & Raider but full metal and well worth considering (battery at front on GC16 & CM18/Raiders are rear wired)

Got one of these from LWA today - cheers chaps for not selling it or sending me a stock one instead..... G&G say 29rps and it will perform with a 7.4v like a 11.1v lipo Well that 29rps must be with a 11.1v I reckon coz been doing a quick chrono and it hits about 21-22 with a fresh 7.4v lipo OK quick review - mods feel free to move this but posted here as it is "news" but deffo not good news imho Gets her out of box, small tamiya on there - hmmm ok was expecting maybe deans or mini-deans Also Standard G&G sticker on gearbox - not perhaps a Top Tech sticker ??? Hmmm was expect a TT sticker as it is supposed to have a DSG & ceramic bearings in there, plus probably a m160+ spring to compensate for the half stroke from the DSG...... Connects a fresh 7.4v lipo switches to semi - goes full auto - WTF ????? messes about with selector - but can't get her to fire semi at all - great got a friggin lemon selector switch Then checks the instructions afterwards in typical bloke style..... NO SEMI AUTO MODE ON HC05 !!!! Oh that is just dandy - design a CQB gun that don't do semi when often up close you have to switch to semi only !!! Also was expecting better than stock wiring and perhaps a mosfet in there didn't appear to have fet in there but didn't look ultra hard coz just wanted to see how quick she fires then...... WTF on the chrono with a decent mag - 21rps, try again hhhmmmm 20.5rps - that is crap OK dry fire test against the AK12 I did - yup sounds similar but even with a used 7.4v I'd give the AK12 the edge That beefy motor AK12 hits 24.8rps on fresh 7.4v Which means my M4 mag ain't misfeeding to give low results - she is hitting about 20 to 21 max on a 7.4v Soz but that is crap to me and not what I was expecting or lead to believe from the hype................. OK very very fresh 11.1v lipo kicking out about 12.3v test: 33 to 35rps and about 290 to 300fps - did about 4 or 5 bursts on 11.1v but as I think it ain't got a fet in there ain't gonna go real nutz coz the poor trigger may decide to have a bigger meltdown than some teenage drama queen not getting their own way........ So at £155 or £180 rrp from LWA - they only had 3 and they are all gone yesterday afternoon Is it worth it ??????????? out of the box - NO - mainly coz no semi but also not that great rof for a DSG imho With tweaks - I think uhmm well uhmm not sure now I've ripped her wide open and seen not able to get cut off/semi working it must be pulling some beefy motor if it is a DSG and beefy spring, plus does have ceramic bearings in there they ain't cheap either..... Will need a rewire and fet but then she should safely be able to use it at 40+ on 11.1v or 26 on 7.4v Still can't see it hitting 29rps on 7.4v even with 16awg deans etc...... well "maybe" if the wires are soldered to motor and high performance/fresh of charge mofo 7.4v battery but that is after a rewire and deans and is really really doing all you can for max contact and zero resistance Also worth noting that G&G could have totally ripped off Seigtek DSG - RiotSC was not approached by G&G and it seems to be a clone of his gears he said Note the 3 holes on each side of gear - not SHS type or Modify's either if you look at the launch poster of the HC05 it shows a DSG exactly like the above pic So not impressed that G&G "could" have ripped off Seigtek DSG - RiotSC's design Even less impressed that a DSG performs - well not that great and not much better than a tweaked SSG AK12 is still on 18:1 but mega beefy motor - but no not that stupid to put 11.1v and get Pre Engagement But a fairly decent 12:1 shortstroke SSG would wipe the floor with the HC05 out of the box (must be like a 18:1 DSG gearing me thinks not any higher speed DSG) So yeah not quite as good performing as we are lead to think and NO SEMI - jeez that is dumb ahhh well a couple of pics: soz if they are a bit big, can't be ar$ed (like G&G's tech dept can't be ar$ed to do it properly) and the instructions when you find you not got semi ffs

MASSIVE WARNING !!!! do NOT take the pi$$ and connect an 11.1v lipo up Seriously I think we lost some tension on the hi speed FH Probably coz it parked half cocked perhaps But the fps was lower than before I wasn't the top tech one but the standard one that had the 23:1 gears replaced with 18:1 SHS and a SHS high speed motor and fet in there.... getting 20 on 7.4, 25.5ish on 9.9v and WAS getting about 31.5 on 11.1v Well Saturday when testing out some ASG mid caps That might need bedding in We connected up a fresh 11.1v lipo - jeez she did seem very quicker than I remember but couldn't get chrono rps coz mags were struggling to feed as brand new........... BANG - Pre engagement and reckon piston shredded or initial pickup tooth snapped !!! Yes it had the aoe done but feel she was hitting 35+ with worn spring BOLLOX - ah well I needed to redo the cylinder port coz think it is set as a short raider 233mm barrel But a genuine gospel stern warning of trying to go too fast. My piston was 20gms approx so not ultra heavy Just want to warn peeps of the dangers of going too mad over 30rps and how close you could sail into the wind Swear on my kids life - tappet moves but all I got is no piston movement and lots of Zzzzzzzzzz instead Anyway - $hit happens I wasn't happy with it so will sort out the compression/fps/barrel cylinder stuff then consider a say a m115 or m125 and short stroke perhaps - dunno for now BUT seriously - all of you chaps be very careful how far you push ya guns in the search for mental rps if you are getting over 20+ on a 7.4v lipo then expect to see 30+ on 11.1v and depending on how well you did ya homework - do not be shocked if she don't like it

You sure the mag ain't the problem??? Would try a few mags with maybe a slightly better spring in magazine first before you rip box open again Had some mid caps that struggle at 27 28 Yet dytac hi-caps fed OK at 30+ Also my nooby box mag feeds damn well too at higher speeds and feeds for yonks as well And yup you could try the m110 as seals still seem a tiny bit out so unless you suss out the missing say 28fps (300 instead of approx 328) Then the m110 probably won't put you over at the moment But try other mags first and see how it goes before you rip her open yet again. If you do open her up to check/try stuff THEN maybe pop the m110 in there perhaps

check the sticky's at top of this section - loads of really useful info try to avoid retailers with "BB" in their names - they sell mainly very low end stuff to kids & noobs fine for backyard plinking but not so good for taking to a skirmish site and going up against much better guns please have a look and read up on the sticky's - do not just rush out and buy the first gun you like the look of what gun did you use/hire M4 G36 AK or whatever and did you get on with it ok ??? give it plenty of thought before you buy anything and please ask too many people buy snipers and find it ain't for them or buy a pistol but hardly ever use it usually beginners should consider all options and perhaps get a decent starter rifle welcome to the forum

Spoon did a review on ASG MK23 Socom came with a 16mm thread but he got an adapter for it now you could then get the adapter and instead of a 14mm ccw normal silencer fit a silencer/tracer unit on there perhaps ???

Well I think pro airsoft on on their way to winding down & jacking it all in Also gimme a gun and I'm sure I can break it as I have a gift for this stuff it is or was "supposed" to be a bad batch - probably trying get the actual mosfets too cheap there are a loads and loads of snide mosfets out there and in a aeg anything but a proper true genuine decent fet will just crap out real soon For that reason you source proper mosfets from proper places like RS or Farnell - never from ebay A number of proper mosfet suppliers confirm this - cheap fets die - well actually they get very hot very quickly If the gun has been wired up for a fet with decent wire - then it ain't that hard to simply replace a crapped out G&G one with a far better and reliable mosfet that start from about £10 or £20 with braking But you would of thought they wouldn't of tried to cut corners on Top Tech or at the very least test the bloody thing by spamming on semi for 30 secs or so to see how hot a batch of fets got fake or poor quality fets turn into mini George Foreman grilles when you you do this to them Also for what it is worth - you really don't need to put 11.1v lipo's through most guns You can get a quick trigger response/ROF without having to go mental & use 11.1v At present I have got to just under 25rps (24.8rps on 7.4v 25c fresh off charge on 18:1 and that is plenty Everybody thinks max volts and insane rof - but the faster she fires then there is a good chance she will crap out quicker (says the guy who has broke plenty by taking the mega pi$$ as per usual) Remember Airsofters - The faster your gun fires - the bigger your pen is (soz silly cartoon I saw yonks ago about fastest download speeds and how big your own ego/pen is)

wasn't me pouring $hit down the barrel - lol silicone is da dogz nutz for slippery smoothness more slippery than an italian waiter sniffing round ya girlfriend on holiday it almost eliminates drag/friction - we use this $hit a lot at work BUT it must stay away from hop of course.... I have cleaned barrel with alchol wipe swab and used a dried up one to apply a small tiny amount of silicone on, squeezed out excess and just gone in about 90% barrel to be safe and avoid the risk of contaminating the rubber and yes it does make a difference - well a cleaner barrel would anyway over a dirty one but swear blind if you are careful silicone is a good stuff

it is a little bigger than it should be but cyma aep's are very popular like I said cm123 takes the normal cm030 type mags like the cm030 & cm122 (cm121 & cm125 take different mags) most go with glock 030 or the 122 was a bit cheaper - but all the same in the end http://www.onlybbguns.co.uk/cyma-122-aep-electric-pistol-fully-and-semi-automatic.html?keyword=cyma%20pistol#.VSqAwo7p8i4 aep's only punch 200fps+ but work in all weather temps a number on here have them or owned one in the past most use gas as it provides more punch but fall back on aep's in much colder conditions or if their gas pistol springs a leak It should hold up very well, all guns can go wrong like anything in this world but in general it should serve you well

cyma 123 or 1911 is way oversized and @ £85 is overpriced as well have one and is too bloody big for my hands patrolbase do an ASG rebadged cyma 030 glock for £55 but will need to be painted/2-toned (glock is the most popular and cm122, 123 & 030 use 030 mags easy to get mags) dunno about A&K one but is out stock anyway 104 is a good cheap no frills or no blowback gas pistol holding aprox 21 or 22 per mag HFC Stti or SRC is the make/brand - it is all the same A serious consideration when buying a pistol - can you easily get extra mags and at what cost luckily the 104 yes you can and quite reasonable price have the 105 with both co2 & green gas mags - co2 is a bit too powerful to use at sites 104 & 105 take same green gas or co2 mags A lot of stuff can bought even cheaper abroad if you get a ukara/defense one day L85 - ICS or G&G perhaps but still £300 Army Armoument R85 is a cheaper knock off clone of G&G L85 but still not cheap G&G M4 or Cyma AK47 or JG G36c is the usual good starter guns most start out with

1 - BBGuns4Less or OnlyBBGuns - not JBBG or if you wanna go to the proper entry level then zero one, firesupport, land warrior, patrol base, airsoftworld.net 2 - you need to think what you want and your budget I'm not gonna say get this and then you decide you want something totally different on a bigger budget eg: cheap gas pistol or sniper - then you say you wanted a G&G CM M4 Carbine or Raider at Zero or LWA etc.... Which if you can afford it get a G&G to be honest

They sell cheap guns to younger noobish players who usually know very little and can't afford or justify buying the better stuff It is easy to think that those cheap guns are a bit better than they really are the way they are described and reviewed Garden plinking - yeah they are ok, still some are better than others not a massive amount on those will perform very well on a skirmish site though (you get what you pay for as the saying goes) Don't get me wrong - saw a few m901c's yesterday and the players seem to do ok of a sort and still had fun (probably would of done better with a better gun but still we all started somewhere & 901c is better than my b500a1) Electric pistol - cyma glock or TM - not cheap £70 aprox but better than a £40 AAA battery pistol but electric pistols shoot lower than gas pistols gas pistols need gas - ergh yeah suppose that is obvious, can use propane gas if you go nuts with it (but doubt if you will go that mad with it - well you won't warrant a propane bottle/adapter kit) don't or avoid using gas pistols in really cold weather as gas seals can fail more in cold weather (seals can and do go - but on cheap pistol you can throw away or buy another cheap mag) You need to think what you want - yeah all of them I know but see what you feel you want to start off with for now and see how you & your budget goes

Already been said but just confirming..... There is a massive difference between say a JBBG "BullDog" M4 for £80 and a proper G&G carbine @ £117 at say zero one yes you have buy your own battery/charger for G&G but you can imagine how good or rather not so good the supplied battery/chargers are on the really cheap guns or you could get a cheap spring/bolt sniper if you have a big long garden - say £60+ or a cheap Green Gas pistol from £30+ add gas to that (onlybbguns is better of the 3 BB sites - use RC10 for 10% off - no I don't work/get commission but they ain't as bad as JBBG imho) suppose it depends on what you are shooting and how far away the targets/garden you can get away with some stuff a little cheaply but there is a lot of crap on BB sites before you buy anything - work out exactly what you want and your budget then chuck a link up - wish I had done this coz bought loads of crap before I found this place cheapy sniper + pistol that ain't bad for money http://www.onlybbguns.co.uk/hg-104-m92f-beretta-hfc-hg-104-m92-gas-pistol.html?keyword=hfc%20104#.VSo9RY7p8i4 http://www.onlybbguns.co.uk/701-bison-bison-russian-bolt-action-airsoft-sniper-rifle-701blue.html?keyword=bison#.VSo9YI7p8i4 sniper - well ya arms will hurt cocking that mofo after a while but an idea you can plink cheaply with some half decent cheap stuff AEG - hmmm well get a G&G, Cyma, JG tbh - the cheaper aeg stuff don't perform too well especially if you try and take it to a site also firing a few shots in your garden is totally different to putting 3k bb's through a gun and abuse it gets running around falling over (a cheap plinky aeg might last ok for a while at home but is way short out on a skirmish site all day)
