  1. Might borrow it off my mate, but it's not really appealing to me as much as the regular Battlefield games do
  2. It also has "Press X not to die" for the cutscene fights haha
  3. http://www.airsoftsniperforum.com/44-others/11794-fn-herstal-spr-a5m-m40-a5-special-police-sniper-rifle.html Apparently the internals are typical for a cheap rifle (e.g. plastic spring guide) and isn't quite as compatible as it is advertised without some modification but the majority of it is.
  4. For looks: Marushin Taurus Raging Bull It's a revolver, enough said? Always had a thing for revolvers and this is by far the prettiest/meanest/badass-est airsoft revolver I've seen. For practicality: ASG MK23 Socom Not as "reliable" as the TM it's a clone of, but it's dirt cheap and robust. The mags are also built to take green gas (unlike the TMs) and can be found for a lot cheaper. Add to the facts that it is silent and very gas efficient, and you have a brilliant side arm.
  5. Recently got one of these myself for £25 at a boot fair. A fun but of kit but be careful about bit taking hits as you don't feel them as much but it makes quite a loud noise. Buy a pair of fast mag pouches for your rifle of choice and you're laughing! For other gear get obviously eye pro/a decent face mask depending on your age (or enjoyment of being shot in the face), gloves to protect your hands/fingers, knee pads are something to consider as well - my worst injuries have always been on my knees from kneeling on sharp objects/BBs - and obviously some good boots to support your ankles and keep your feet dry. Everything else is more or less optional - even your tactical vest. Just be careful ordering from overseas as custom charges can apply. Edit: Another thing with this vest: take a friend with you for the sole purpose of clipping you up in it. Getting the clips in on your own can be tricky haha!
  6. Don't make choosing harder than it is for me! Haha
  7. Ian: £13.70? You really find some great stuff on the cheap haha. May have to try and frequent eBay more often! Anyway, latest purchases to remidy some faults in my current recon loadout: Tokyo Marui 30 round VSR magazine Guarder rifle stock pad (Olive) APS QD sling swivel £41.80 inc. postage from Zero One The mag because I'm tired of carrying around a speed loader that rattles, the stock pad to store it (and others) in, and the QD swivel to attach to my TRMR so I don't have to fumble with pouches to get it out in game. May have to invest in some disposable pyro for throwing since the TRMR is a bit too heavy to do that haha
  8. Best for (cheap) Russian gear: http://frontowiec.com Based in Poland and tend to get stuff to you in four days - much better than some retailers in the UK
  9. Patrolbase do a lot of gear for kids: http://www.patrolbase.co.uk/kids-army
  10. Looking good Cav, did you paint the rifle yourself?
  11. I agree, I doubt people would want to pay £5 a month for "team kit" when you've made one of your requirements that people should have their own equipment. If it was a one off payment for a team patch or membership fee I think you'd get more interest, but I wouldn't charge people if you're only just starting out with it.
  12. Vsr trigger/piston set 6.02 Tightbore barrel for Vsr G-Spec £108~ From ASP-UK
  13. Just got back from the Airsoft Bootfair at MCG The Gaol with these goodies: WE L3 Charger - £15 (Seller knocked off 98p as I was buying multiple things) Airsoft Systems M4 85rd mags (5pk) - £29.99 Cap - £10 "Transformers" Vest with 2x M4 quick mag slots and triple grenade pouch - £25 Very chuffed haha
  14. I'd heard of a tactical beard but this... Just don't be surprised when you get home after a skirmish and find a bottles worth of BBs in it haha Edit: Bolshevik!
  15. Swoop's Classic Army M15A4 - justifying it that it's technically NOT an M4 haha - as me and my friends are forming a small team and need weapon platforms with the same mags.
  16. Knee pads are always a nice little addition to protect yourself and they're quite cheap. I forgot to wear mine so I regretted it when I slipped and took a lot of skin off my knee cap on Sunday.
  17. G&G for me since they have the better track record for decent guns and quality control. Plus it's an M4 - parts, mags and accessories are a lot easier to source.
  18. Marui 870 Breacher with a spare gas mag, breacher shotgun scabbard and as many TM shells I could get for the rest of it. OR... Marui Recoil AKS74U with two extra hi cap mags and an AK sling.
  19. My other project rifle (after my sniper): Umarex Beta Spetsnaz
  20. Do I have to pick? I love sites that mix both together. If I had to choose I'd say woodland. At each CQB site I've been to it's not been a gun fight as such - more like a pyro fight. I do like the rush of it, don't get me wrong, but I enjoy the stealth style gameplay you can get at a woodland site.
  21. It's your gun, put what you want on it? I don't look down on people for using one so long as you follow any rules the site has for prolonged fire (e.g. 3 second bursts) - the only "noobs" will be those people who sneer at you for having it.
  22. A new hard rifle case, a new trigger and piston set for my sniper and some mags for it.
  23. This. Complete with rig and ballistic rated headset (eye pro).
  24. Helmetworld do the cheapest fast helmet replicas I've seen in the UK. Usually around the £48-50 mark: http://www.helmetworld.co.uk/helmets-176-c.asp
  25. Possibly this? http://www.twoway-radio.co.uk/earpieces/throat%20microphone If it is then I'd think most two pin mics may work. Edit: Well Baz sniped me there haha
