  1. I'm not sure how the other UK Ebay sellers have faired in all this. Helmet World, Bullseye, Poisenapple etc but I'm presuming they get their fair share of raids by the Ebay police. I'm also presuming that HK sellers are also subject to the same restrictions. Either way I've cancelled my paid Ebay subscription for now.
  2. Just had another email from Ebay together with a 30 day listing ban for...... get ready for this....a Hop Up Chamber! Noticed that their Firearms policy now includes "BB guns" as a new restriction: http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/firearms-weapons-knives.html
  3. Richborough was an amazing site, till it was demolished....
  4. What length are you going for? I've got about half the ZCI sizes at the moment plus a selection of hops. GIve me a shout and I'll see if I can sort you out :-)
  5. I sent Ebay support links to other products just like you did above but I still got my listings removed together with a 3 day ban. The support guy said, Ebay just simply can't monitor every listing, once they make a decision to remove something very hard to get the decision reversed. This was my second strike, one more and I was told I could lose my account, scare tactics maybe.
  6. I'm a Royal Mail PPI customer so things are a little different for me but unless I'm mistaken you have to pay extra for either "signed for" or "tracked" (both are different) otherwise your parcel won't get logged or tagged. What was the value of the transaction if you don't mind me asking and when did you send it out? One thing you could do is give his local sorting office a call and ask politely if they have it in their stores or if someone collected it (not 100% sure they give out the last part but worth a shot). Paying £1.10 for Signed For doesn't ensure you won't be ripped off and won't insure you for more than £20, but at least it gives you some protection against possible scammers Hope you get it sorted though buddy :-)
  7. Only last week I had a listing taken down "V2 Trigger Switch" or something like that - I was told the trigger word was "Trigger". I was also not able to add any new listings for 3 days. Pretty annoyed since I pay £20 a month for unlimited listings. Spent the next 2 hours on the phone to various nobody's in customer service centre's. I explained that these were products were not firearm related, could not be converter etc but it all fell on deaf ears. The actual Ebay policy isn't finely grained and doesn't distinguish between real firearms and those product and related products that use similar words. I'm really in two minds whether to stay with Ebay, going to give it another month or so. Just wish there was a viable alternative. I tried Amazon but was wasn't impressed with their pricing structure.
  8. As Samurai said Mobius gets some nice comments in the press. A chap put two of them in a PEQ, however not sure about helmet mounts etc
  9. Normally pretty good service from these guys, No doubt just a mistake on their behalf. I'd be surprised if they didn't refund the postage.
  10. Not tried TM. I've had my KSC G17 for 10 years now and still not had one issue with it, absolutely beautiful gun but can be expensive. Had WE, pretty good for the price.
  11. LIPO's all the way dude..and another thumbs up for componentshop
  12. every weekend? you're definitely hooked and probably single :-) (don't mean that in a bad way)
  13. As the man above says check out what's underneath that delta-ring. I've got a whole bunch of 7" free-float rails left that I'd like to see gone, I'm sure I can sort you out with a forum discount. However they are all black, you may be looking for tan?
  14. Went to Battle Lakes the for the opening day 3 years ago now but not been back yet. Not saying it's a bad site but it just didn't grab me when there's quite a bit of woodland competition in Kent, however it was the opening day so no-doubt things are very different now. I do fancy getting back there maybe this year but it's the other side of Kent for me and in-between there's a number of other woodland sites.
  15. Had one of these years ago, not as versatile as 3200x etc but they worked. British company also. Not looked at their website for about 8 years and it's not changed haha. Just wished these guys would have pushed their product a little further, I'm sure they could have made a product more suitable for the Airsoft market.
  16. Man, so sorry to see this type of scamming. £290 is a lot of cash for this, aren't they around that price new?
  17. I think the confusion comes from back in early 2014 ZCI changed their manufacturing process a little and were tinkering with designs. All I can tell you is that of the one's that I have examined they have all seemed perfectly straight and well cut. What I like best is that they do a crazy range of sizes, about 25 AEG and 7 GBB in total.

    UKARA Mystery

I've not been on UKARA DB since 07, just had site membership since then. Does the site administrator still have to send off each form? Do they scan then email or is it all physical?
  19. Yeah this was on a Facebook thread somewhere, as with any AEG always need to do your homework it seems :-)
  20. I'm hearing good things about Bolt M4 AEG's at the moment if you're looking for some recoil but don't fancy TM
  21. I know you don't like the MP5 but my money would be on the Galaxy G5, still got mine from 6 years ago and going strong. Uses a V3 gearbox so plenty of opportunity for upgrades etc if you wanted to get it past 320 which is easily done. Think mine was close to 380fps out of the box! 88 Euro's all in, pretty nice price
  22. Haha have fun. Were you born in 91? If so you started very young. Let us all know how it went when you get back.
  23. Don't forget your pack of Lucky Strikes :-)
  24. Maybe back in 2000 that was how it was done but these days it's all shopping cart and wordpress. Does help to know a little HTML and CSS but for most people they are more concerned with actually getting on with running the site and not coding it. You say you want a shop with a blog..... Wordpress has some great themes with shopping carts built in. Blogs are dying out these days in favour of Facebook / Social Media. Personally I like Opencart for shopping sites. The software is free and will work straight out of the box. Like most things in life learning curve.... www.unlimitedwebhosting.co.uk - Host as many of your domains for £3.99 a month. Service is pretty good, I run around 15 sites on it. VMware HA clustered (if that means anything to anyone) - get the odd outage now and then but support is always on the ball. If paying for a site you may get lucky and get a "good" student to do it for you on the cheap, however expect to pay £££ for a well made site, custom graphics, logo etc Need any help just ask... OH and make sure you keep full control of your Domain Name....Lost count the number of clients I've seen over the years who didn't know who owned or managed their own domain names :-)
  25. Certainly sucks. Everything you say or do online will be stored away in server rooms till the end of time it seems. The Internet was such a nice anonymous place once upon a time!
