  3. Yeah the wife's one was £300, can do pretty complex shapes, have found vectors work the best but generally any picture that has pretty clean lines.
  4. Do you mean Cricut buddy? My wife has one she uses in her day job. "Sure Cuts a Lot" software, neat little tool.

Thanks Hef, hope you get the PDW sorted. Lots new external stuff in stock now - perfect for building up a 2nd AEG
  8. I forgot all about BAC - really good idea shame it never gained much traction (or did it?).
  9. Springs are either regular (consistent coil spacing) or irregular (coil space varies). There's often some debate on which design is better. The Duck will have some scientific data on this :-) Then you've got material - generally the higher end springs (the ones I sell anyway) are made from Japanese steel coated with a black anti-rust / hardening compound. Again so many different manufacturers out there. Some clever chap did a really good spring comparison chart - I won't bore you with it though, if interested you'll find it :-) Hope that helps a little
  10. Ahh player self-check http://www.loissoftware.co.uk/ukara/selfcheck/index.asp didn't notice that before...
  11. Wow 385 I just got in a large shipment springs so If you want a couple for £10 or single for £6 let me know and I'll get one out to you.
  12. Yeah I've done this in the past and it's been fine. Would be nice to have a system where you as a registered user can send out authorised details, https URL or something, proving you have a valid defence.
  13. Hi Tom. FPS is always a tricky beast as it depends on the general gearbox compression. Does the Sterling use a V3 gearbox? What's it currently shooting at? Do you know what rating the spring is in currently? As a starter a M100 or M110 should get you to around that mark. You can also cut off a coil off the existing spring although does deform the end slightly
  14. mmmmmm lime green - back in the 70's my nan had a bathroom that colour Here's the metal receiver with all the bits added. Seller is based in HK http://www.amazon.co.uk/Marking-wargame-airsoft-hunting-shooting/dp/B01CTW7VTE/ref=sr_1_5?s=sports&ie=UTF8&qid=1458925560&sr=1-5&keywords=aegcartasiacom Still not sure where the stock tube mount went :-) Think the photoshop dude got a little excited and chopped it.
  15. Bush Valley looks pretty neat, will definitely try and get there this year. I see they have invested in an Objective Box, do they use it much? I'm a big fan of Rush myself (not the 70's progressive rock band)
  16. Hope to get to the Sandpit myself later this year. The number of active sites seems to grow each year, bit different to when I first started playing in 2004, there was just Fort Amhurst, anyone remember this chokepoint? Always some bastard with a M249 at one end...
  17. I always wondered why the rest of the Bluewater site was never fully developed commercially - maybe the god of airsoft looking down :-)
  18. List best to my knowledge... Darkwater - Ashford Battle Lakes - Tunbridge Wells BIA - Eastry ShadowOpz - Dover Cool Under Fire - Faversham Quex Park - Ramsgate Apocalypse - Maidstone UCAP - Dartford Bush Valley Airsoft - Maidstone Ace Combat - Tonbridge
  19. Welcome to the forums Sam, it's a friendly place :-)
  20. FPS depends not just on your spring but also on how good your level of compression is. If you want to save some money you can try cutting a couple of the coils off or just buy a M90 or M100.
  21. @two_zero - Good grief comrade :-)

    Motors....

I'm out of these at the moment. There's lots of motor information on the web, I've not tested these myself personally but from what I've been told SHS HT are 16TPA whilst the ZCI HT are 22TPA and the ZCI High Speed is 16TPA. You'll find various manufacturers use different names to rate their motors - Ultra Torque, Balanced, High Speed etc. I've got a SHS motor order on the way, I'll be selling the SHS motors at the same prices as the ZCI's, with P+P they will work out around £2 more than what you can buy them on Ebay from HK.
  23. Hey Darren, I'm just outside Dover, where did you play 10 years ago? Firefight / Cage ? There's a site over at Quex, not been myself but close to you. I like the look of the improvements they've made at Apoc, will try to get myself there this year. Pete
