  1. @James Baker I've got some old spare Rocket M115, you're welcome to grab one for free. It should put slightly over 350fps but then you can just a coil. Message me 🙂
  2. yes that's a good point indeed. hopefully this spring and summer they can get plenty of people out there using them in play.
  3. @Adolf Hamster from my tests the bottom line seemed to be, lower power consumption, lower heat, better longevity, if the esc controller goes pop it can be replaced with a simple solder job. No brushes so no carbon dust build up etc. Here's some stats from a test I did with the Warhead Ultra vs a GP 14TPA GP 14TPA Motor with 7.4v (fully charged) RPS = 18 Full Auto Amp Draw = 25 Motor external temp after 2000 cycles = 50 (centigrade) Warhead Ultra Motor with 7.4v (fully charged) RPS = 27 Full Auto Amp Draw = 20 Motor external temp after 2000 cycles = 35 (centigrade) The figures are pretty cool, the Warhead motor is 30% faster, draws 20% less amps and 30% cooler. Although the motors aren't like for like it does give an idea.
  4. If money is no barrier then one of the new Warhead brushless, fantastic motors. On the budget end SHS high torque is pretty much the most popular, quite reliable. Also the new fan-assisted XT motors seem to be performing well
  5. 47rps does sound very high, what colour is the motor can? I don't think it's anything to do with his amp draw issue but AB in general isn't great for motors, had several customers with new failed motors using the adaptive breaking feature. Massive amounts of carbon dust build up.
  6. I have around 50 arriving on a boat from China late April / May. In the past I used to get gear like this flown out via FedEx or UPS (dodged a bullet there), but now it's almost impossible to get Airsoft components like gearboxes and receivers sent via air. Boat takes around 6 weeks I've been told. Price of shipping has gone through the roof though! I was shocked when told. Boat arrives in Felixstowe so I'll need to collect from there or arrange pickup. It's a learning curve for me.
  7. You'll drive yourself nuts with that OCD and Airsoft lol.... The E&C receivers are certainly the best priced out there that come with nice engraved trades but they are super hard sometimes to get hold off. Of course no telling if the Madbull rail does exactly the same thing. If you're near me (Kent) then you're welcome to try it when I have some in stock - or you can send me the rail and I'll try it for you etc.
  8. I got in touch with @James Baker and included the larger spring. James make sure you let us all know if that fixes the problem.
  9. There was a small issue on those links, may have looked like the larger inner barrel spring was out of stock which it isn't Small top spring https://www.ak2m4.co.uk/hop-up-chamber-tension-spring-small Large inner barrel spring https://www.ak2m4.co.uk/hop-up-chamber-tension-spring-large
  10. thanks bud, those inner barrel springs generally work great
  11. I run a plastic gun in the morning and then just go home 🙂 I'm even lazier
  12. Massive production costs together with low margins I imagine. Also licensing costs for the Taiwanese and Japanese perhaps.
  13. @Adolf Hamster haha stank of fish!!! What on earth! Sometimes you don't wanna know where your package has been lol
  14. Man that suck, some of the EU orders I've been sending out have arrived in perfect time. Ireland, NL etc. No delays at all. This is with Royal Mail as well. No RIF's of course. Some Polish guy on FB got his TG order in 3 days using a private courier - might be worth looking at in future
  15. for sure, but UPS .... fcuk me, surely heads are gonna roll in that organisation. Only last week I sent a standard non-tracked package to Ireland via Royal Mail, it's cost something like £3.50 to send and it arrived in 3 working days.
  16. what parts did you order? where they coming from?
  17. Although slightly different to couriers like DHL, UPS etc, EMS have the right idea, they just suspend the service when it becomes too difficult to meet time scales. It's not a perfect solution, they sometimes aren't the best company but I get the feeling greed takes over at UPS.
  18. @RebelScum Does indeed seem to be a UPS thing. I got my EMS, FedEx and DHL parcels in usual time. What frustrates me is the lack of transparency and communication. They don't even offer a webchat function. They make you wait on hold for 45 minutes. Service has fallen through the floor yet their prices have risen. They don't even offer any service guarantee anymore and haven't done for nearly a year.
  19. Did you pay your charges yet? I normally pay VAT and duties etc direct to the driver on delivery however looks like they they've switched to paying before delivery now. However their whole payment process isn't geared up. Even their way of informing you of payments isn't that clear. My packages came from China though so slightly different. Got a vague message on the tracker to say charges need to be paid, but no link to pay or instructions. So called UPS support and was told "ohhh ignore that, just pay the driver" . So I wait for another week, no movement on the tracker. Called support again, got Steve from Delhi 🙂 on the worst quality line. He said I had to pay now, so paid over the phone as this was the only way to pay, arrived next day even though tracker said parcel still in China. Seems they are overwhelmed, but still taking on packages.
  20. microns lol, don't sweat it buddy, play and have fun.
  21. It does ask you to enter additional info / UKARA number, whether or not they check is another story
  22. I know it's a bit of a kick in the nuts but £15 for a courier is still a pretty good price for Poland to UK. As for the rest it does all depend on what is on the CN22 label. The fees they originally quoted you didn't make much sense so maybe they are holding it to re-asses. Just a waiting game at the moment, I've a couple hundred motors stuck with UPS god knows where for 2 weeks now.
  23. I just had a look through the CYMA spare parts catalog and it's not listed. It would have to be a special request through one of their HK resellers. You can always try to contact CYMA directly via their website however they aren't the most accommodating. Anytime I've asked to buy spare parts I have to buy a whole container load. So any parts like the pistons I have to order through a 3rd party, pushes up the price.
  24. Were you charged any local VAT? I suspect just like when you order from HK, that due to the amount of parcels coming in not all get stopped. This is especially true when going through the national carriers like Royal Mail / Parcel Force / EMS
