  1. Hi and welcome. Kent here. Congratulations for not calling UKARA a "license" 🙂
  2. What happens if he just puts the stock inner barrel back in? This the SRS barrel that has a 2-stage barrel right? If you mate wants he can send the barrel to me and I'll do a borescope inspection of it
  3. Could be the Rhop setup, could also be a slight fault in the inner barrel. Personally I'd get rid of the rhop to start and test a few buckings out. Then move onto the inner barrel. Is the barrel stock? How long is it?
  4. Yep all lengths in AEG. I'm just waiting on the 2nd sample to arrive, hopefully end of next week. They sent the 1st sample to me couple of weeks ago but it didn't have the internal polishing. I'll post up some video of it. Again some interesting stuff with in that you all might find interesting.
  5. 2 identical aeg's for testing, one with a 3/4 and other with a closed, same hop, same rubber. I imagine many people will disagree but it's just my observation. Maybe it's down to the super tightness of the barrels I was testing, most around 6.01 +/- 0.01. I didn't get too technical for linear relationships and curves, if it flies straight and long I'm happy. I should have 6.03 / 6.04 stock in soon so will be interesting to see what they're like. Ultimately the shorter barrels just seemed to give me a lot less grief. When testing when I come across ones which I'm not happy with I just put them to one side, I bore-scope them to see what might cause the curve but I can never find what it is. I've been refining the process over the past 6 months, I'm a little sick of it tbh as it's a lot of extra work in deburring and polishing. I won't be doing this when the new barrels come in thankfully.
  6. Would be easy enough to tell. not only the main controller but also the speed controller (if it has one) which sits underneath the ESC
  7. you read right 🙂 260 to 300 seemed the sweet spot. Of course this is my own testing, the longer ones still performed well but just not as good as the shorter ones.
  8. Yes it's highly possible. I also found that having the last 3 or 4 inches polished to a high degree can make big improvement for any lengths.
  9. this is just from my own research in my own particular case. I've got hundreds of identical polished new barrels, polished to RA 0.5, all different lengths from 128 to 500 - same bore size. Have tested about 400 so far and one clear observation is that the shorter ones are more accurate.
  10. @GiantKiwi you said Warhead are a rebrand of Chaoli, yet Warhead were released way ahead of Chaoli's brushless offering. Have you opened both up to take a look?
  11. Most of the spring guides I've seen use the standard airsoft thrust bearing same as the one used on the piston head. I have plenty spare if you want some however do your spring guides have the function to unscrew to allow a bearing to fit?
  12. How much are used pallet's going for these days? I was at my local tip here in Dover yesterday and saw at least 5 of them just thrown in the wood bin. Seemed such a shame.
  13. Stariver apparently is owned by the same company as T238, sell a lot of Gel Blaster products under that brand in China. My Solink ones aren't on Aliexpress I don't think - well I've not seen them.
  14. Yeah I would agree but super easy to convert Rob and in doing so you can choose the exact height. @Pseudotectonic I've just ordered some of the Solink Lite 28k budget ones
  15. Fantastic, there's a roofed area in the background of one of the photos, how about you move it under there 🙂
  16. Palletland Good job Jez, keep us informed on it's progress
  17. the cyma platinum range is decent for the £220 I paid when they came out a couple of years ago, but that price is quite a jump (licensing??) so it's worth seeing what others say. I believe they still come with a short-stroked gearset, something to bear in mind if you have to change the spring.
  18. my hosting company were switching some sort of cache on the plesk system apparently.
  19. oh wow, someone with a lot of forum activity! that sucks. Royal Mail counters are generally hot on people providing proof of identity when picking up packages.
  20. Haha, yes I'm well versed in this, learnt the hard way...Just some tips here: - Always use the RM service that covers the value. Tracked 24 is £150, Signed For £50, Normal 1st/2nd £20 - If you can use their new Tracked 24/48 service as it's given priority and only a few pence more. Signed For is an old product. Tracked 24 will let you know which depot its been to etc. - Never refund unless the 10 business days are up (or it's a low value etc) - worth explaining to the buyer that's their policy before agreeing sale. - Take photo of contents and package before shipping - In the event of a claim always keep all correspondence and proof of the value of the item (this can be hard.) - Order online via RM website and they'll pickup for free and provide label if needed.
  21. How low is low? If it's under a tenner and been a week then I'd just refund, if more then I'd wait till the specified EVRI delivery time was up. Not got a glue what this is but Royal Mail is 10 working days. I'd say 1 in every 200 packages I send goes missing only to turn up on the 10th day.
  22. you ain't the first to think a mold line is a crackola 🙂 I've done it plenty of times
  23. that looks like a mold line to me
  24. this bit just to the left of the button? am I looking in the right spot
  25. @JinxDuh where's the crack exactly?
