  1. Maybe back in 2000 that was how it was done but these days it's all shopping cart and wordpress. Does help to know a little HTML and CSS but for most people they are more concerned with actually getting on with running the site and not coding it. You say you want a shop with a blog..... Wordpress has some great themes with shopping carts built in. Blogs are dying out these days in favour of Facebook / Social Media. Personally I like Opencart for shopping sites. The software is free and will work straight out of the box. Like most things in life learning curve.... www.unlimitedwebhosting.co.uk - Host as many of your domains for £3.99 a month. Service is pretty good, I run around 15 sites on it. VMware HA clustered (if that means anything to anyone) - get the odd outage now and then but support is always on the ball. If paying for a site you may get lucky and get a "good" student to do it for you on the cheap, however expect to pay £££ for a well made site, custom graphics, logo etc Need any help just ask... OH and make sure you keep full control of your Domain Name....Lost count the number of clients I've seen over the years who didn't know who owned or managed their own domain names :-)
  2. Certainly sucks. Everything you say or do online will be stored away in server rooms till the end of time it seems. The Internet was such a nice anonymous place once upon a time!
  3. I've found this place close by to me, it's an old egg farm, tried calling the owner but no one ever picks up, looks like it needs a lot of work also to bring it up to H&S spec. There's actually 3 of these almost interlocking so the fun potential is definitely there. Now what to fill with....
  4. Warehouse style of play isn't everyones cup of tea but for me this really appeals. I like the idea of just rocking up for a quick game or two. Indoor environment, fairly quick turnaround on games, certainly a winner in my book. In Ashford, near where from where I live there's an old Homebase and Carpet Right opposite each other that have been empty for nearly 3 years now - what a waste!!!
  5. Hey got one from the wife too... :-) If I figure it out I'll let you know ....
  6. I'd be really interested in seeing how you get along with fitting a FET to a QD - please if you get time take some pics and post up :-) If you could find one small enough, like a PICO maybe an opp to fit it inside the trigger housing, longshot I think. I was really impressed with the QD box, although I haven't worked on one just opened it up, the anti-reversal latch was firmly held in position and as I said before the safety arm has been removed so no more messing around with that annoying spring.
  7. Thanks for the info Duck, I did have a huge order of QD parts come in last year, mostly wiring trigger switches, they didn't shift for around 6 months then they all went in a matter of weeks once I stuck them on Ebay. I've never fitted a FET to a QD box before, I didn't even think it was possible. Have you managed to fit one? I do like certain aspects of the QD gearbox but don't understand why they don't do quick change spring but with with a normal trigger switch. I think it may have something to do with the improved safety function which is another major plus point to the design.
  8. Can't see one ever coming out which is a shame, send AI an email and tell them they need to start making Airsoft guns :-)
  9. The last email I got from the Dytac rep showed a QD type V2 gearbox. This is in their latest Sportline AEG, I'm guessing they use this in all their AEG's but I could be wrong. They do a great line of quality products, I was very tempted to start selling them here in the UK but they just weren't cheap enough when compared to the competition out there currently. Here's a pics he sent me:
  10. Lovely looking beast Geoff, when you say inside info do you mean on any airsoft development?
  11. Welcome Skool. The fundamentals haven't changed too much in the past 10 years. I still often play with my old G&G stock AEG that approaching 10 years old now.
  12. Looks fairly decent Zak for £500. YOu probably already done this but worth Googling the MB, Video card and RAM together just in case there's any nasty combo problems out there.
  13. In the video I think Tye mentioned that you can use a bog standard ipod touch, not sure which gen though. I'm not an Apple guy but I imagine you can pick up an old one for peanuts these days.
  14. Interesting concept. Certainly takes a step forward in an often problematic area. Great that it offers the Battlefield Rush style of play. I watched the video above and your introduction but would be good to see a video of it in action.
  15. Have you checked the battery, almost sounds like its gone flat or has given up. What battery were you using before and what LIPO are you using now?
  16. Haha I think it's quite sexy, however out of the Spice Girls I always thought Sporty was the best looking :-)
  17. If you haven't already tried Counter Strike on the PC then you need to. It was ground-breaking at the time, that and Desert Combat.
  18. Did that hire paintball mask have the classic 20 year old musty / sweaty smell together with it looking like the lens had been cleaned with a Brio Pad :-)
  19. Welcome Russ Lots of Kent guys here (me included), plus lots of nice sites in Kent, rumour has it UCAP are opening a CQB place maybe in Kent - just in time for Winter :-)
  20. Ah already out you say... probably old news then. Apologies.
  21. Nice to see something different and great that this is being made in Europe. Worth a watch. http://www.popularairsoft.com/news/airsoftology-asg-cz-scorpion-evo-3-a1
  22. As Liam pointed out, most DMR site limits are either 450 or 425. So potentially 100FPS increase. A good setup with a mosfet running 11.1 can easily rattle out round pretty quick.
  23. Lonex have some nice felt recoil there. I think we're a way off GBB recoil as that will require a whole new design. For people to buy though they need to come in at a good price in order to complete with TM, plus need to offer spares at a good price.
  24. Are you sure they are trojans? Could be false positives. And Norton does suck eggs. Personally I don't run any Virus Scanner, just give my machine a scan once a month with something free, Malwarebytes etc
