    My Blackwater CQB-R. Ordered new delta ring today. Still a WIP to complete the look I want and some internal upgrades in the future. Looks so shit after seeing CKinnerley's and Cheeseright's guns! haha

    Asked about that mesh stuff people use for a snakeskin camo stencil at a couple of art / craft shops today. I think I explained it alright but don't have a clue what it's called. Neither of them had anyway anyway.

    Paid for a new delta ring (real steel style to replace CYMA -TM- one) so my MOE PTS Handguard will fit properly This also means I will be selling my RIS and I have a potential buyer Also, my MAG mags arrived today! Stated as OD colour, but actually close to Coyote Brown or Coyote Tan. Feed well, not too tight or wobbly either. Very pleased - I will be buying a box set of them.

    Welcome to the forum. First and Only run some sites around Manchester I know of and there is Alpha One near Wakefield. There are a lot of great shops to buy from, Pro Airsoft Supplies, Airsoft World, Zero One, UK Tactical etc. My local retailer is Patrol Base in Huddersfield, which is another popular and very good store. For gear, I would recommend Flecktarn.co.uk too, the Bulle stuff is affordable and nice quality.

    So I'm going to be buying a new delta ring for my M4 as I have an MOE handguard. What kind of price can I expect to sell my RIS for? No longer need / want it and I would have to switch delta ring to change between handguard and RIS. Also looking to sell my 2 metal hi caps that came with the gun as I am buying MAG mid caps. Thanks

      Yeah I think it is, I think it's in pretty good condition, carbine length. It's from my CYMA so a TM clone but I would include the delta ring if I sell it.

      Cyma m4 rails go for £23 on a few sights I know and that includes the KAC style rail covers. If you are selling it let me know as im after a ris for a project

    I think by additional costs he means getting there and buying BBs and things. If you rent it will probably cost £40 altogether (in total) or if you have own gun and gear (don't need to hire) then £20 / £25. Look for your local airsoft site then it should say on website when they have skirmishes (when are the meetings?) When you hire you will usually get 1000 or 2000 BBs but if you want more they might sell some. The only airsoft shops I know for London area is Pro Airsoft Supplies and Wolf Armouries but I think wolf armouries is expensive. Yes if you do not have UKARA defence your gun need to be brightly coloured but when you get UKARA defence (easy to get) you can have realistic looking guns. Sorry I do not know if you could get your G36 over here though. Hope this helped

      My local armed response look like a bunch of airsofters lol. They're round the estate alot, were standing around like we do in the safe zone with their g36's and mp5's hanging at their side. Everyone of them was on the larger side of life aswell, would of had a hard time getting along the narrow balconies on the flats here.

      Haha! it's certainly not something you see everyday here up North. Don't live in a city or anything so it's nothing like London. There have been a few shootings or something and they took a car away so guessing if must have been linked to that.

      When I used to live in west london we had 2 SO19 guys on guard duty at the end of the street. We found out they were 'guarding' a cabinet minister, who incidentally lived next door to Abu Hamser's family.

       

      All they ever really did was drink coffee, but car crime in the local streets went right down lol

    I know Heroshark did drill holes into some ballistic polycarbonate material but I don't think he ever did a follow up video on them. As far as I know he never went into producing any more so I can infer it didn't work out. A shame because it would be great if it did!

    Can't decide between normal MOLLE dump pouch or drop leg one. Both £5 each in UCP from Flecktarn (I will paint them OD)

      I used ot run stuff on my legs not prefer it all waist or higher, the only exception being a holster

      Oh yeah I was put off getting a drop leg for the same reason...moving around / rattling. I might buy an OD dump pouch instead but thinking about using the drop leg dump pouch as a utility pouch or with a sniper loadout so less movement - rattling less of a problem.

    Patrol Base stock them and they've sold out a few times so they're popular enough, must be good. I think it is the other ones that are probably overpriced.

      I know, I still can't believe those prices! I wasn't thinking of ordering anything too heavy or large so charges should not be so high.

      Well, hopefully they won't sell out of these soon so you can I can order things. I'm surprised they haven't already but they are clearance items (maybe imperfections and things worse than they say on some things, hence the very good price) idk maybe people just don't want those parts.

      Hasn't China sided with Russia? Obama's not going to go against A) The country with the worlds largest tank corps, B) Their ally with the worlds most infrantry soldiers. Not to mention all the nukes, and it would have to be a nuclear war due to the fact if they got anywhere near us we'd be screwed incased of invasion with our small armed forces in comparison. That and our handicapping gunlaws lol. I think it'll all blow over, hopefully.

      Yeah have used them for scope mounts, paracord, a stock pouch, bipods. Everything was sent out fast, and their prices were pretty good.

    My CQB-R M4 + Palco NBB USP khaki frame (needs new mag) As you can see from my signature pic, I have plans to upgrade this externally, including a box set of 8 mid-caps from MAG. Bought the MAGPUL MOE PTS carbine handguard but it's in Foliage Green so I might re-paint it at some point.
