  1. Wow haha yeah why so many guests? :0 25!
  2. If you want something purely for the garden then yeah don't bother with one of those ZM things. Waste of money. At least put some more towards getting something like the G&G or a CYMA AK (you are bound to get recommended AKs and other guns too) then you could use it if you want to go to a proper skirmish at some point rather than be stuck with a frankly pile of wank plastic POS which can't do shit of you can't upgrade + is ugly orange. Purely for target shooting I'd stick with springer pistols or a tri-shot shotgun (£40-£60 ish and they are alright at a skirmish too)
  3. Don't buy any of the shit from "BB gun" websites. You will need a UKARA defence to buy a realistic looking gun. As the others have said, G&G Combat Machine is the best to go for. We're always recommending em, pretty much anything cheaper isn't worth it but G&Gs are really good, especially for the price compared to more expensive ones. Pro Airsoft Supplies and Colchester Airsoft did sell a transparent (clear receiver, stock, grip and handguard IIRC) for £100 and a starter pack including good battery and charger, BBs, shitty mask for £120. Well worth it but sold out now I believe. Check Airsoft World / Airsoft Zone / Zero One for a better selection G&G guns. They're all pretty well priced and a thousand times better than the £70 gun which will be fully plastic inside and out. G&Gs are fibre reinforced polymer, Taiwan made, they have great hop rubbers and so on. Prices start at £118 for a G&G CM16 (same one as the transparent one I mentioned) up to about £200 in the CM range. They'll all perform practically the same, but the externals are very different so choose which suits your budget and the look you like. There's also models with a pneumatic blowback (moves a little plate in the chamber, where the ejection port is, sort of improves the sound a bit) metal versions etc. Oh and from what I've heard Zero One's two-tone service isn't very good though. Apparently it's poor quality paint and takes a long time. Explains why it's free I guess. On the other hand you do get a free skirmish voucher though which is good. I suppose you could look at it that worse quality paint will wear off easier and by that time you might have a defence? Not sure what the finish is like though
  4. CYMA AKs are good though. My dad got one reduced from £190 down to £120 If you had a UKARA number already you could buy from a European shop like TaiwanGun or Gunfire which sell them really cheap for only like 80 to 100 euros + £12 shipping. In the UK they are probably £120+
  5. Give it time mate and you will get replies. CYMA M4s aren't very good (I have one and I have heard they are not good internally) As you will see when anybody else asks about their first gun, we always recommend the G&G Combat Machines. They are definitely the best you can get for the money. Pro Airsoft Supplies sold a great starter pack for only £120 including a clear polymer G&G CM16 + mask and battery and charger. They're sold out but Colchester Airsoft sell it as well. http://www.colchesterairsoft.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=cm16transspack ASG Blaster BBs are good, I can get a bottle of 3000 0.20s for £7 at my local store Patrol Base, and they have got new WE ones for £6 recently too. The cheap mask you get with the starter pack isn't great so I'd say you should replace it, maybe look at Proto paintball masks on eBay. If you don't like the CM16 look on Zero One who sell a lot of different G&G Combat Machine M4s. They look different but all perform very similar. AirsoftWorld had an offer on for a limited edition (Only 1000 made I think!) 30th Anniversary G&G for £150 too.
  6. Yeah I'd love one, DoctorMilsim on YT had a good video on it. Not sure if anywhere else other than The Grange will sell them though.
  7. Oh yeah might be a Monday. +1 for the Marui, and agreed the firearms laws are shite
  8. There is IPSC or whatever it's called, for airsoft. Like the European championship was held down South earlier this year IIRC. My local site Halo Mill does practical pistol every Tuesday.
  9. Realised I have no idea where my PAS / Patrol Base / BB Bastard patches are :( how'd I lose them so easily!?

Thieves, pulling them off your rig while your back is turned! [faint grumbling and reminiscing of my stolen Dark Side Meter patch]

      Zak Da Mack

Why the f*ck would people steal patches?

    3. TacMaster

      TacMaster

Because people are thieving bastards. There's 1 or 2 dishonest players at my local site

  10. Buying from who? If you mean from the site you have gone to three times and then registered at then no you don't need to buy from them? Once you're on the database from my experience ordering from TaiwanGun you just say in the order comments or whatever they have on Gunfire what your number / code is and if they will write it on the box. Can take a while for the UKARA to come through though? The self check is a load of absolute bollocks (it doesn't work for loads of people) so you should ask at a local site or shop if they can check for you.
  11. ASG B&T ones are supposed to be good, Patrol Base used to sell em for £39 but haven't had any in stock for a while. For £30 I can only think of the Big Dragon one which might be that sort of price, but they're shite.
  12. Probably a RM4 ERG as well like PT. Or a TM MP7A1 and mags + pouches / Blue Force Gear MP7 rig. You can get GHK M4s over here. I'm not sure where I saw em but idk AirsoftZone...maybe?
  13. You can but not any magnified optics if that's what you're looking for. For example ACOGs or Elcan Spectres are ~ £100-£200. AFAIK pretty much all sights are gonna me OEM'd by the same manufacturer. Probably made in the same factories and then rebranded WE or whatever, so go for the cheaper option if you're on a budget. Should be able to get an EOTech for £30-£40. What kind of optic are you looking for though? I got my red dot sight off eBay for about £16 in the UK as well
  14. New Fobus GL-3 holster for Glock 20/21 is still feeling incredibly tight on my WE Glock 17. are they actually adjustable? Doesn't seem like it...or will it loosen up with use?

Worst comes to worst you can still sand down the inside- but your best bet would be to return it and buy a G21 Serpa

  15. We really don't get to go airsofting much tbh but my dad is 50 and gives it ago he's actually a right beast an orl, proper stealthy at Halo Mill (it was just me and a mate vs him once and we had no idea where he was or anything
  16. I've heard mixed reviews of Gunfire's but TaiwanGun P&J ones are supposed to be good. I've got around 8,000 rounds of em I haven't used yet (still finishing off some Blasters / King Arms ones) Will do the same to some of mine if anyone's interested in seeing what they are like when cut open. My TG .30 BBs for the M24 do have some really visible seam lines in em (whereas .20s don't) but still seem good enough.
  17. I have intel stuff in my PC but yeah you will need above 500w I think. IIRC mine is 650 - 750 Gigabyte mobo, HIS IceQX GPU 7850? i5 3570 That's all I can remember since I built it like...wow nearly 2 years ago I think? :0 feels like yesterday
  18. Watch REMF Tacticool's (Chris Kinnerly) video. Does a comparison between the two
  19. You can have a paddle or belt version. You can get MOLLE adapters for em but I've never seen em for sale in the UK. I dunno if IMI stuff would actually work with it or not but their MOLLE adapter things are only £7 or £8
  20. Depends on the price but will probably be 20% tax + import duty (5%) for customs charges. A sneaky thing they like to do is count the postage in that as well though.
  21. Here ya go http://www.gunpointgear.co.uk/fobus-glock-20--holster-753-p.asp
  22. Awesome! Seen them before and wanted some for a while. How was shipping?
  23. This is what happens when you have an uncodified constitution, people don't clearly know their rights and laws and governments can change laws really easily.
