  1. WE Gen 4 Glock 17! (and thread adaptor)
  2. They're not AK-47s!
  3. I have intel stuff in my PC but yeah you will need above 500w I think. IIRC mine is 650 - 750 Gigabyte mobo, HIS IceQX GPU 7850? i5 3570 That's all I can remember since I built it like...wow nearly 2 years ago I think? :0 feels like yesterday
  4. Watch REMF Tacticool's (Chris Kinnerly) video. Does a comparison between the two
  5. You can have a paddle or belt version. You can get MOLLE adapters for em but I've never seen em for sale in the UK. I dunno if IMI stuff would actually work with it or not but their MOLLE adapter things are only £7 or £8
  6. Depends on the price but will probably be 20% tax + import duty (5%) for customs charges. A sneaky thing they like to do is count the postage in that as well though.
  7. Here ya go http://www.gunpointgear.co.uk/fobus-glock-20--holster-753-p.asp
  8. Awesome! Seen them before and wanted some for a while. How was shipping?
  9. This is what happens when you have an uncodified constitution, people don't clearly know their rights and laws and governments can change laws really easily.
  10. Not sure about in the UK. Helmet World sell some of the PTT units but don't do Bowman headsets (only the more expensive COMTACs but they are not good)
  11. Gonna be getting The Division and probably GTA V too.
  12. Patch Craft Poppy & UJ Patch Kryptek Highlander £2 posted - £1 goes to the Royal British Legion http://shop.uk.patch-craft.com/poppy--uj-4709-p.asp
  13. These Z-Tactical Bowman replicas are good. http://www.airsoftpeak.com/headsets-c-439_452_453.html Can also get it here but I'm not sure what shipping price will be so could be cheaper or more expensive: http://www.wgcshop.com/wgc2008/main/product_detail3.php?tabpage=3&search=special&rs=Headsets&item=ZTHK-Z029-BK&search_From=category PTTs: http://www.wgcshop.com/wgc2008/main/product_detail1.php?search_From=searchItem&item=ZTHK-Z112&search=special&rs=midland&catid=&cat=&view_choice=a http://www.wgcshop.com/wgc2008/main/product_detail1.php?search_From=searchItem&item=ZTHK-Z113&search=special&rs=midland&catid=&cat=&view_choice=a http://www.wgcshop.com/wgc2008/main/product_detail1.php?search_From=searchItem&item=ZTHK-Z125&search=special&rs=midland&catid=&cat=&view_choice=a Both are trustworthy stores. AirsoftPeak especially I can say are great as I've ordered from them three times before.
  14. Yeah I've ordered from TaiwanGun before. £12 or so for shipping (edited the post now) There is a thread on both of em you should read as well,
  15. Yeah one of the first bits of advice people have is to stay away from gas as your first gun. Personally I don't think there's much that could go wrong but you do need to be prepared to maintain them a lot (much more than pistols I guess) and pay for gas which is obviously more expensive. If you take a look around on the forums you'll see a lot of people recommend the G&G Combat Machine M4s for a beginner's first gun. So you're looking at ~ £150 with a battery and charger. Cheapest GBBRs I've seen are about £150+ although that said I don't know if the KSC Vz61 / WE SMG-8 are more classed as pistols rather than rifles. GHK G5 is £225. Then WE M4A1 ~ £270. Also the G&G Combat Machine GBBRs are said to be bad despite the fact the electric ones are so good. It's also said it's impossible to get a good AEG under £100, which, whilst true in the UK, isn't if you buy from somewhere such as Polish retailers, TaiwanGun or Gunfire. Providing you have a UKARA defence of course. I've recently seen a load of Cyma and JG guns on sale from 80 to 100 euros on TaiwanGun (+ £12 shipping) Some good retailers I can think of, off the top of my head: Pro Airsoft Supplies (Excellent customer service) Patrol Base (very good service again) Airsoft Zone (lots of stock and good prices) Zero One (very good amount of stuff for sale, free skirmish voucher with gun, but two-tone paint service is bad) AirsoftWorld (I think some people said they're bad but overall not bad store) Redwolf UK (great, some unique products, alright pricing) Land Warrior Airsoft (generally good, some stuff can be found cheaper elsewhere but lots of stock and things) Fire Support (haven't used em but I know a lot of people have and no problems AFAIK) Hope this helps and welcome to the forum
  16. I think it's been said before, but I'd like to start off saying all the G&G Combat Machines will perform pretty much the same. It is said a lot that the performance is actually really good (considering the good price) and can get very good range and accuracy! I know one of the reasons for this is the good quality G&G green hop rubber that is in the gun. You can definitely do a lot in terms of upgrading, both externally and internally. M4s are after all the most common airsoft gun. They use Version 2 gearboxes so there will be hop units / gears / motors / cylinders / barrels and so on. I wouldn't recommend you upgrade anything, especially as a beginner, but also because you really shouldn't need to since it should perform well anyway out of the box. General maintenance yeah but should not need new parts for a while. And no they are not at all plasticy! I've never held one before but everyone says they are very sturdy. It's nylon fibre reinforced polymer, nothing like cheap creaky plasticy plastic
  17. Since a paintball gun isn't a realistic imitation firearm, you'd still need a defence to buy an airsoft gun (that isn't two-toned) Anyone over 18 can buy a two tone airsoft gun. Also, when you go to a skirmish, you could cover up those parts with camo tape (just you should take it off before you leave) In theory, you could get a new handguard / stock or whatever parts are painted and replace them for the day (but again as long as you took these parts off and put the two-tone things back on again after) My dad has UKARA and has bought guns for both of us (no money is supposed to be change hands) So my understanding was that they were still his, and I was simply borrowing them when he 'gifted' them to me. However I was told by people on this forum they are actually mine, despite the fact I'm under 18 and don't have my own UKARA defence (well apparently I do actually due to a slight cock up and it says I'm 43 or something...anyway...that's another story) Hope that didn't confuse you even more Basically the first paragraph is the important one
  18. Welcome!
  19. Umm I can't remember it haha, just my PS3 one I had. I'll post it up later. It's like jahb13313 or something I've got BF4 and Watch Dogs.
  20. Fobus GL-3 Glock 20/21 holster
  21. Very nice! Looks awesome mate
  22. Doesn't the Kriss Vector have a 22mm thread? I'll take a look but I'm pretty sure Patrol Base sold something like what you're for. Shit it's 16mm sorry. I swear I've seen one around though
  23. Wouldn't recommend hi-caps myself, I'd rather buy a box of mid-caps. Hi-caps are useful though for if you don't mind about winding and rattling. In terms of slings, depends on your preference and budget. Single points, two points and three point slings all have disadvantages. If you're short for example a one point sling isn't great, and your rifle is flapping around in front of you. A two point is good because it is across your chest and you can sling it over you back. You could get a Magpul MS3 replica for only $13 here (I've bought from AirsoftPeak loads and they're great) http://www.airsoftpeak.com/multi-mission-bungee-rifle-sling-system-black-p-9587.html Wouldn't recommend any other cheap slings you might find on eBay / Amazon. I bought a cheap two point bungee one and it doesn't feel very good quality. My ASG bungee sling (single point) on the other hand feels very good quality for ~ £13 but I don't think it's the type of sling for me. Looking at a picture of the Raider there's the front sight post sling swivel and two slits on the crane stock to stick a sling through. Doesn't look like it comes with a sling plate but you can buy one inexpensively. There are also Picatinny rail mounted sling loop things, you can buy both here: http://www.airsoftpeak.com/slings-swivels-c-444_561.html Not sure what quality will be like but they're usually fine, and if you see a style you like you could try to find the real steel version or something which will be stronger. Don't apoligise for the questions mate, it's what the forum is here for.
  24. I'd ask retailers who did have them in stock first, rather than going straight to the importing option. Could work out cheaper buying them from the US though I dunno. £150 though (on tactical-kit)
