  1. BTCs are expensive and rarer than hens teeth (cue the hundreds of people that have "just got one for peanuts") but the Burst wizard ones are fairly cheap. https://www.airsoftworld.net/new-burst-wizard-3-mosfet-with-milsim.html It's the Rate of Fire control that you want to look at.
  2. BTC ones do, Burst Wizard ones do.
  3. https://gunfire.pl/product-eng-1152198440-CM032-SF-rifle-replica-black.html £210 for a broken charging handle and two mags worth a fiver each or a brand new one for £154. Yeah...righto.
  4. Already? Blimey that was even quicker than expected!
  5. Not everyone wants and actual ballistic brain bucket but if you did, it's actually a fairly reasonable price (they retail at $1,400 new) especially with the earpro thrown in too (even assuming they're not actual 3M ones).
  6. Apparently he's in Tennessee. Not sure if he spotted the UK bit in AFUK...
  7. Nope, wasn't me!
  8. I'm torn - I have a meeting in Poole on Friday and it's literally right opposite Zero One.

a little "souvenir" from Poole can't hurt either

      (if the price is right)

they do have the odd offer on now & then

heck even JBBG had some 9mm blanks at a good price

      (before I switched to the 6mm 209 cheditte thingy's)

So on that basis - have a butcher's, grab a bargain if you see one

I would, tell yourself you are helping UK businesses

(that excuse doesn't quite excuse buying from JambWow though - my bad)

      have a good meeting & a looksie

      HEY EVERYONE!

      Loz is going to Z1!

Who needs anything? Save the postage costs! ?

  9. Showing your age now mate!
  10. Having worked in defence aircraft research for a goodly while I can say for sure that "perfectly serviceable" is not the same as "in perfect working order". It's just a better way of saying "well it probably won't fall out of the sky.....today".
  11. I like the idea but it looks like it was done with TippEx (which I'm sure it wasn't). For me, as a paintjob it doesn't go far enough. Needs more purple and scary grins. But that's just me.
  12. Is that perchance a Vector Optics scope?
  13. I have a Pentagon one that has never tasted of anything from the word go, I would say that all the major manufacturers have decent spares availability for bit valves etc but then I guess that would be countered by "it's only £4 I'll just throw it away and buy another one". You pays your money and takes your choice.
  14. Camelbak aren't cheap. But then they don't make everything taste of plastic either.

  16. The front receiver pin (just below the threaded portion at the front. Once that's out, pull the charging handle back and then slide the upper forwards while you hold the charging handle.
  17. Really? Personally never had an issue with them, but I know he can be a bit that way inclined if you get him on a bad day!
  18. You may wish to invest in some black electrical tape. My Magpul Ranger plates slide off pretty easily and I've already lost one! At that price for a small rubber puller I'd want to make sure I keep hold of the rest!
  19. Knowing Laurence from Socom, I can just see how that conversation will go!
  20. You don't zero a magnifier.
  21. You're right, but the cost of a decent mount is probably more than it's worth spending on that optic. However, I have this mount on my magnifier (which is also Vector Optics) and it returns pretty well https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/Vector-Optics-30mm-Magnifier-Scope-90-Degree-Quick-Flip-to-Side-Mount-FTS-36mm/1434599697?iid=132573473674&chn=ps&adgroupid=52130512215&rlsatarget=pla-451946728260&abcId=1133906&adtype=pla&merchantid=7148814&poi=&googleloc=9045745&device=c&campaignid=1058844235&crdt=0
  22. See now, what you need to do there is take the 3x magnifier off, put it in a draw, go play airsoft and sell the magnifier in 6 months. This will save you the hassle of lugging it around all day just to discover that it's 3 parts of fuck all use. Alternatively, the should be elevation and windage adjusters on the magnifier or possibly on the mount base that will help you re-centre the reticule. Unfortunately, there is EVERY likelihood that when you first flip the magnifier to one side and back again it'll be off centre again because NONE of the cheap magnifiers are actually any good (please see my previous comment above).
