  1. Fair. https://victory-outdoor.com/uw-chest-rig-gen-iv-multicam.html or https://www.scopex.fr/en/products/tactical-chest-rigs-and-harness/ or https://www.insidersl.com/product/uw-chest-rig-gen-iv/ are the main EU distributors for Mayflower but they only seem to have the Gen IV. Might be worth contacting them to see if they can get the Gen V in for you? None of them are cheap mind you! As and when they have stock, Tactical Kit will ship to Europe.
  2. We ordered some stuff for a customer at work about a month ago, was shipped from Europe and delivered by UPS within 2 weeks.
  3. If you're happy to have a knock off, Emerson Gear make a good Gen V rig.
  4. They're a great company. Bought a few bits from them!
  5. Yep, it's slatwall. If you're happy to collect (shipping will be pricey) there's plenty of second hand stuff going on ebay for very little (lockdown 1 - retailers 0).
  6. The Gen 4 would take AK74 mags but probably not AK47 ones, but the Gen V has interchangeable inserts so you can swap them about to your hearts content. I have a knock off one set up for M14 mags and works well. https://www.tactical-kit.co.uk/mayflower-uw-gen-v-split-front-chest-rig-33488-p.asp
  7. On that note, I'd highly recommend these chaps https://www.flecktarn.co.uk/camouflagekit_tropicalmulticam.html as they sell both LK and TruSpec.
  8. Was it because they're an ITAR restricted item?
  9. So in essence we're talking a long barrelled MOSCART I guess? Looks cool!
  10. Not seen much evidence of that online, if the receiver breaks then you have a reasonable range of choice available these days for replacements This. 100%.
  11. As I understand it the WE 416 GBB has issues with the bolt catch itself wearing quite quickly and causing issues. A quick google for "WE HK416 bolt catch" throws up a whole bunch of threads on it.
  12. Looks great, how are you reducing the power though? These things come in 16J and 7.5J don't they?
  13. It's one of the slings issued by the USMC. They also use the Raine Inc manufactured adjustable 2 point which is generally considered to be much lower quality.
  14. Anyone had any dealings with Mael Eòin Tactical at all? Placed an order 11 weeks ago but they've gone completely quiet on comms.

@DrAlexanderTobacco totally agree , there’s no excuse for poor or none existent comms , no matter how busy you are You can still take a few minutes at the start of the day to send a generic “sorry for the delay” email just to show the customer they haven’t  been forgotten . I once had a TM EBB with a tech guy for near 15mths while he was trying to find a part but every mth around the date I’d sent it to him I’d get the same update of “still looking” but I was happy with that as it showed I wasn’t forgotten  .

  15. Any of the ones mentioned already. If you like the Magpul sling you have you could get an MS1 or a padded MS1 for a bit more comfort. Personally I'd go either Slingster or the adjustable TREX Arms one.
  16. By what metric? The education ranking puts them 11th in the world, their economy is the 13th largest and their quality of life is the highest in the world. Or do you just mean that they banned guns?
  17. Really quite impressed with it. I have a Vector Optics one as well but the Victoptics being an FFP scope puts it slightly ahead. As you say though, good, clear glass and crisp illumination.
  18. As someone that has moved from commuter belt (Surrey) to semi-rural (North Hampshire, just outside Basingstoke) I can confirm that despite my heritage I'd be entirely happy living in the middle of nowhere as long as I can get good broadband and Amazon deliveries!
  19. You and me both. The place is (mostly) an expensive shithole.
  20. Both my parents are from the East End of London. I'm more annoyed when people from other parts of London say they're Cockneys when they've never been further east than Fulham. Or when people from other parts of the country try and use the same phrases. As for where the slang started, it was just a way of keeping people from outside the Cockney bubble from understanding what they were saying, just like many other dialects and forms of slang. Innit bruv. Ya get me fam?
  21. Dog Tag is where someone tried to fuck up my mates M14 by standing on it so I'd say Driver Wood.
