  1. That would be good enough for me to use a steel one.
  2. Same same. If it has electronics in then it'll have a standby drain that can knacker a battery.
  3. Ah but the boots theory of socioeconomic unfairness kicks in at some point, surely?
  4. I have a Gen 1 goretex parka. It's seen some use (surplus issued kit) but it's still pretty decent. By all accounts the Gen 1 was preferred over the Gen 2.
  5. One end should be knurled, the holes in the receiver are different sizes so the knurled end sits in the slightly larger hole. If the hole has rounded out or if the knurling has worn off (or was just shit in the first place) you can get replacement ones that have deeper knurling to take up the slack. Guarder do them I think.
  6. Try these: http://shop.specwarfare.com/gp-urx-iii-rail-cover-set-l-bk

  8. Original Magnums (back when they were still branded by Hi-Tec) were great and cheap. Now they're worse than the cheap copies and more expensive than they have any right to be. I tried Lowa Zephyrs but while they're incredibly light they don't seem to be available in their wide last fitting so they were just too narrow for me. Merrell work for my feet so I have a pair of MOAB III for walking the dog and MOAB Tactical 8" for the pews. Light, Goretex lined, grippy (unless it's proper boggy). Not super cheap but certainly better than Magnums. Thing is, you can get all the opinions you like from all over but unless they fit YOU, then no boot is going to be great. Get to an outdoor shop and try some on.
  9. I'd suggest looking for an ambi selector set and then using the shorter one of the pair. Something like this https://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/pts-bad-ambidextrous-safety-selector-aeg-black (although they're out of stock).
  10. Narrow it down a bit, what rifle are we talking about?
  11. The EBR uses a long shaft motor with the collar removed.
  12. VFC or maybe an Ares. Great externals, turds for gearboxes.
  13. Hi there, This is the part you want https://www.mlemart.com/products/cyma-ak74u-aluminum-cnc-handguard-rail-system-ris-ras
  14. @SeniorSpaz87 could help out here?
  15. Just to answer whether the receiver design has been changed, this is a replacement receiver set for the GC16 https://www.airsoftzone.co.uk/metal-receiver-set-for-gc16-series-black-gg.html Note the little black stub at the back of the receiver.
  16. The sling loop would normally be held in place by the two "rails" either side of the buffer tube mount (which usually forms part of the rear of the receiver). To achieve that with your gun you'd need to get rid of that massive threaded part from the buffer tube mount.

  18. £180 in the UK is a pretty decent price. With stock levels the way they seem to be right now, I'd buy it while you can.
