  1. Strip it down for deffo. Also - try soaking a paper towel/lint free rag in power spray and wrapping the offending part with it. That'll allow the liquid to come into long term contact with the part without having to spray the whole thing.
  2. Also - AK2M4 have replacement parts for that: http://www.ak2m4.co.uk/zci-m4-magazine-spring-replacement
  3. I'm confused as to how you can wind it up too hard. The winder has a clutch that disengages when it's fully would (goes click - you should hear it) so I'm guessing it must have already been malfunctioning. I've not had any issues with mine...
  4. Build a room full of sinks and don't give them a toilet.
  5. Spot on! Matrix is a rebrand of the CYMA kit I have. Thanks dude!
  6. I recently bought a CYMA CM045A which is lovely but due to the need of a torch at the Malls I've bought the CYMA C114 RIS handguard for it. Thing is, there's no instructions whatsoever. Anyone got a clue how it goes together?
  7. Never had a problem with HP or their service. We install their kit into blue chip manufacturers all the time. You sir, are talking out of your arse.
  8. You know you don't need to cut anything to change the stock though, right? Para stocks are cheap on Ebay too but make sure you get the right one. Not sure that the G&P style ones fit quite the same. Looking at changing mine for a Mk46 stock.
  9. The trigger on the A&K gearbox is a cheap microswitch that has a tendency to weld itself together resulting in full auto until the mag runs dry and the battery goes pop. Cheap and superior quality replacement from Maplins is the "V3 Anti Tamper" microswitch designed to go into home security systems to set off the alarm if someone removes the case without disarming the alarm first. Hence anti tamper switch.
  10. Seems to have a bit of a personality disorder! Para M249 with a Mk2 stock? If it's an A&K you can replace the trigger switch with a V3 Anti Tamper switch from Maplins. Works a treat (you'll need to cut and bend the arm).
  11. As long as you don't have the badge on it it shouldn't cause too much controversy. You may be singled out as a potential walt though.
  12. As I say, depends on where on the rifle you want the sling point. If you want one where that particular point goes, then you're stuck with that one. Otherwise, there are more points where you could put a QD mount: Look for "QD Sling Swivel" http://ant-supplies.co.uk/Pages/FlushFitGunSlingSwivels.aspx there's loads around. Otherwise try a RIS mounted sling point.
  13. Sorry - do you want a sling or do you want a sling point? There's a few spots on the gun that are placement points for QD sling swivels (top rear of the stock, just in front and above the magwell) or you could fit one of any number of rail mounted sling points if you want one nearer the front. The stock also has the slot along the bottom of the shoulder part for looping a sling through. If you want the sling point that mounts just at the front end of the stock then you're pretty much stuck with the screw on Magpul one I think.
  14. Grey HiGear wicking undershirt, WAS 901, Emerson G3 trousers, baseball cap. Done.
  15. Viper 3 point tactical sling? Pretty much ANY single point sling that isn't a genuine Magpul?
  16. http://www.air-lab.co.uk/z-kit.html If past experience is anything to go by, don't order from there until he's been back from holiday for about a month though! Good explanation of the product there though.
  17. Ah....you've never played at the Malls have you?
  18. The fact that the listing on that site mentions "cheap Chinese Airsoft knockoffs" would suggest that Ebay is your best bet.
  19. You need to strip it down to its component parts. You can't dip a whole gun as it is because as you say the water would get in places you really don't want it to be.
  20. Ok, maybe "no difference" was stretching the point, but seriously - you think shotguns are useless in CQB? They're not going to be much use in woodland I would say but I'm sure someone will disagree with me.
  21. Well that's bollocks for starters. Shotguns of all types are excellent for CQB. The shorter ranges involved negate the issues of power for the shotgun. Granted relaods can be a pain but that's no different than using low cap mags in an AEG. But yes, get a tri-shot.

Be wary of quoting direct x spring = y FPS. I'm currently running an M95 in my M4 and it hits consistently at 345fps. Actual muzzle velocity depends greatly on how good your air seal is.
  23. Sounds like people who take running around the woods with a toy gun a little too seriously... Not for me.
