  1. It's funny - I've never yet needed my pockets for anything during a game. Everything I need to carry goes in my chest rig or a holster.
  2. I have a Safariland style dropleg for my M9A1 with torch. Works absolutely fine. The trick is to adjust the leg straps properly and to place it high enough. Most people seem to think a drop leg has to be round about the same height as your knee which is ridiculous.
  3. You'll never get to being a proper geardo with that kind of attitude!
  4. http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/nova-tm-1911a1-hi-capa-ambi-thumb-safety-stainless-silver.html#.VAeDxGMXO_k Whatever did people do before Google was invented.....
  5. Just FYI, Friz - all my guitars are on the LEFT hand end of this picture:
  6. On the grounds that the last time I replied how I wanted to when faced with a post that annoyed me this much it got moderated, I'll just say we'll have to agree to disagree on this.
  7. P90 SCAR-L CQC M249 Para (yes, you can do this. I have) Couple of pistols and shed load of mags. G36K HK 416 To be honest a lot of people will tell you that you have to have something short for CQB. Now, I'm not about to tell you that an M14 is fine (although I have seen it done and an M16) but anything as long as a standard M4 will be fine for CQB. It's not the size of your gun, it's how you use it (oo-er).
  8. Behave, it's a piece of piss. As long as you have three hands
  9. Weird, my dytacs work fine with 0.25s....
  10. Pictures? What make is the gun?
  11. OK. Once again everyone is missing the point. The OP wants to know what he needs to have a shorter outer barrel on a Raider Long. This video is for putting a shorter barrel on a standard CQC length Raider but the principle should be the same: Then you're going to need to buy your new outer barrel, i would suggest a 10.5" one which will still allow you to re-use the existing front sight post. After that you're going to need a new inner barrel of the correct length (should be 300mm). Most aftermarket inner barrels are going to be tight bores so look for something as per the suggestions above which is a 6.03mm inside diameter. (check AK2M4.co.uk for these). Then you'll need to fit it (best doing this while the gun's apart for changing the outer) Then you'll need to post pictures here so we can all tell you what a wonderful job you've done/how to make it work again
  12. This. Every damn game. I swear on one day every swinging dick and his dog was aiming for the squishy bit of belly between my chest rig and my battle belt. Came home looking like a slab of corned beef
  13. I hope that's your mums bedroom. Otherwise you have an awful lot of necklaces....
  14. Engineering covers such an enormous range of diverse subjects that there's bound to be some part of it you'll find interesting. I went from electronics hardware to industrial automation. All engineering (I've since gone to the dark side and become a salesman but that's a different story). As a nation we need MORE engineers. Not maintenance techs - engineers. Get qualified, get a professional certification in your chosen field and get out there.
  15. I have one. Get the CQC version as it comes with a removable barrel extension. You get the best of both worlds that way. Great gun but yes, you'll need a spring downgrade (mine was about 400fps out of the box).
  16. LT2 will be fine http://www.abbeysupply.com/airsoft_gun_grease_lt2.html
  17. Sounds to me like something doesn't line up any more since you took it apart. Is it front or rear wired? If it's front wired then it may be the wiring needs slightly re-routing around the hop unit.
