  1. Possibly, but there IS an hk45 specific IMI Roto holster available.
  2. They just have a third hand with twelve fingers on it!
  3. I know you can make car parts from CF but then they're a lot more heavy duty than the parts we're talking about here. Internal bracing and reinforcement isn't really an option in small parts like M4 receivers. On a complete side note, I remember being amazed at how light CF parts can be when I was helping with an RFID tracking demo at a composite car parts manufacturer on the Isle of Wight and a small lady walked past carrying the whole side of an Aston Martin...
  4. Difficult for me to comment on that because (as is well documented here) I really don't like Glocks. I literally got it yesterday so I haven't had a chance to use it in anger but it feels great in the hand (I have big hands) and is a nice weight. Well put together as with all TMs. It's much bigger in the hand than a Glock though so if that's a game changer then it may not be for you.
  5. True.... I have ordered an extra mag from them now though so thanks for the heads up!
  6. Dammit. They were out of stock when I looked.
  7. Just FYI, that is STILL a Honey Badger. It's just a replica of the short handguard model.
  8. They're spendy though. Mine was £160 with one mag. And nobody seems to have spare mags in stock....
  9. Carbon fibre accessories always make me think of Saxo dashboards and Max Power. And then it makes me sad. Unless I'm remembering it wrong CF still has the ability to fail at any given moment from a slight knock in the wrong direction so I'm not entirely sure it'll be durable enough for an airsoft gun...

When I was looking at buying a RIF from Fire Support and Zero One I asked and they both said they would ship to an alternate address. My M14 from TWG was shipped to an alternative address without any question or objection whatsoever.
  11. There will be other times! I'm fortunate in that I don't have these "kids" of which you speak to spend all my money for me.....

Yeah, to be fair it was down the the warehouse not doing what they were told. Still, it arrived where I actually wanted it to so..... I don't quite get why there was the issue of having to be sent to my UKARA registered address though, I've had RIFs delivered to my office no problem in the past.
  13. Aug 16th at Our Lady of Plastic Death, Friar Street, Reading. All are welcome to feel it's warm embrace.

Just bought a TM HK45 from these good people, communication from them was fantastic even if the actual sale ended up being a bit frustrating! Basically, the website allowed me to enter a different delivery address (my office - because there's always someone there who can sign for stuff). On acknowledging my order they also let me know that because the gun was coming direct from the warehouse it would have to be delivered directly to my UKARA registered address. Fair enough, I was going to be in all day because I had a surveyor coming (but that's a whole different kettle of very annoying fish). The postie came and went without a box for me so I rang and spoke to Andy who was very helpful and duly went off to find me a tracking number. On tracking the parcel it turns out that it had been delivered at 11am, signed for by me. Intriguing! I informed Andy who went off to find out where it was. I called RM customer services who then informed me that actually, it had been sent to the address that X Site told me it couldn't be sent to. Good old Royal Mail, eh? Anyway, faultless performance from Andy and the staff at X Site in getting the order out promptly, their price was good too and excellent after sales service in helping me try to track down the errant parcel!
  15. Thermoplastics can be remoulded, thermosetting plastics cannot. If the Fobus plastic feels pliable then you should be able to re-form it to a degree. I would suggest heating it in boiling (or at least very hot) water - CAREFULLY!!! - then inserting the gun wrapped in either a bag or clingfilm to adjust it to size then plung the whole thing into cold water to re-set the plastic (hence the bag/cling film).
  16. Personally - I feel that washing your BBs falls under the long list of things that life is just too short for. Like bad coffee or Jeremy Kyle.
  17. The safariland copy I have for my m9 used to press the mag release when I ran. Had to cut it down to make it stop. It's all down to quality.
  18. I'd get a backup rifle first. If you play mostly cqb you can get away with using a pistol but then you'll need extra mags so...
  19. It's definitely more of a sniper thing. If you're using decent quality bbs you shouldn't need to wash them for your average aeg or gbb.
  20. Seriously? You spent the thick end of £150 on a laser range finder for a gun that can only shoot as far as you can see? Wow. I thought I had more money than sense!
