  1. Going to be working my ass off tomorrow to get the video which I had meant to go up at the weekend ready. Sorry that I missed the upload window- weekend was really busy
  2. This is the thread for the best guns on the forum! Post pics of what you consider to be "Um Bestest Gnu in Teh Wlord"! I nominayte teh ORINGE M14!!!1 SEE! IT AM OSSIMEST EV0R!!! *basically, why the hell are all of these "G36 Thread" or "L85 thread" popping up all of a sudden? Kinda seems a wee bit odd to me.
  3. One month until I can legally buy a RIF. I get the feeling I won't be eating for the rest of December...

If your sight is insured then the fact they are not UKARA registered should not make a difference to you buying a RIF. As long as your a member of the site then you have a defence. Might just mean you would have to give the shop your membership number to the shop so that they confirm it with the site you play at.

My site is insured, but it's not UKARA registered, but the shop is. Unfortunately, there are no membership logs/numbers at our site either

Yh, in that case its a bit of a problem unless you can get the site owner to vouch for you and the shop accepts that. Might be worth asking him if he would be willing to sign a letter from his company saying that you are a skirmisher?

  4. Are Magpull angled forgrips worth it?

Pretty much what M_P said, worth having a quick look to see how you are meant to hold them too.

Yup I bought one and I don't know if I like it, I would prefer a stubby vertical grip. Mine only cost like 7 quid though and is good for the money (there's a review on here I think)

They are generally intended for a grip where your fingers point down and your thumb is over, or close to the top of your foregrip. If that sounds uncomfortable don't get one :)

  5. looks like I might actually be able to get the video up by the end of Saturday afternoon.
  6. Might be a wee bit late with this week's upload. Need to retrieve some footage directly from the camera, which means that I cannot start editing the video until at least 1750 tomorrow evening. If I can get it done, which I will try my damnedest to, then the video will either be up really late on Saturday or late Sunday/ Monday morning. Sorry in advance guys!

Thanks guys! Love hearing that everyone enjoyed it!

  8. *HOLY NECROPOST BATMAN!* I had a very similar experience with Bulldog BBs bought from JustBBGuns earlier this year (I decided that I might as well try them out because they are cheap and I needed some .20s for some grenades). While I had them, I thought that I might as well run a few through my MP5K. VERY similar experience, finding MASSIVE airholes in the centre of the round. Cracked open at least ten, ALL with the same problem. Was rather angry about this, so i've left a negative review on the product page (#rebel) All that said, they did work well in the grenades, because they didn't really need to fly straight!
  9. I think that there is a thread exactly the same as this in the "UK LAW" section on these Forums. Not 100% sure though ,but its always worth checking
  10. 1. I forgot about this topic! 2. How can you fuck up THAT badly?
  11. I assume that the "Fat bloke who never washed his hair, and clearly knew nothing" you mention is ArcLite? That guy pretty much MADE RedWolfTV! I always enjoyed his videos- very informative and such. Tim "the Chinese guy" is a lot more entertaining and laid back to watch, mainly because he seems to have a really good sense of humour. As a result, I personally prefer him to Taz and ArcLite. If you do watch RWTV, it is worth remembering that they ARE a retailer so they WILL be trying to sell you their products (for a prime example, just watch their "best airsoft gasses" video- it's basically an advert for Airsoft Surgeon gas). Doesn't make them any worse a channel, but you should always be wary of retailer channels as they are using these "review videos" as a way of promoting products on their website. EvikeTV, AirsoftGI TV and Airsplat are really bad for this, because the three of them are in direct competition with each other more than anyone else in the USA. For a UK example of YouTube being used to promote low quality products and make them seem like teh bestest gnu, see some of JAMBWOW's videos (yeah, I know I always bring him up). Jambwow is MD of JustBBGuns, and his videos are absolutely hilarious for the experienced airsofter to watch. Some of his videos, such as THIS ONE, make even the lowest of low-end LPEGs or springers to be the greatest skirmish-grade gun ever. For more piss-taking of Jambwow and JustBBGuns in general, please see the "JUSTBBGUNS" Topic in Places To Buy on these forums.
  12. getting out to my first skirmish in over two months this weekend. Can't wait to get back into the action!

yeah, I can't make it out this much atm due to rugby, but im hoping to be going twice a month or whatever next term

  13. *not airsoft realated* Link to, what is in your opinion, the best video of 2014. Here's my vote:
  14. And I don't get a mention. Thanks But yeah, most of them are good. EpicAirsoftHD (Jai) and NASH airsoft (Andrew) make GREAT videos. I would give Deathcore a miss, as well as a few other Americans such as "CrazyNCMan". Guy just pisses me off
  15. *shameless plug time * I am the already mentioned Falcon. And yes, I do make airsoft videos & put them on YouTube. All of my clips are filmed in first person on my GoPro Hero3 in HD quality in the UK. I usually have a new video up every Saturday at about 3pm UK time. I have a lot of skirmish videos with my MP5K, as well as some first person sniping videos by one of my teammates. You can check out my channel by following the link in my signature on here, but here is what is (in my opinion) my best skirmish video to date:
  16. He's already commented on it- so I assume he's read it. but yeah, That is the best post on here for newbies
  17. >finds random picture thread >doesn't spam with Ainsley
  18. that's a bloody good deal. but if I were you, I would replace that mask, as its not great
  19. I've ordered from their website before- not a great experience, if you ask me. Never been in store (as its a bit from from Aberdeen lol) but I wouldn't really like to shop there again after my experience online.
  20. Be warned, JD do charge you money to have them paint the gun to a legal 2tone colour (I think it is about a £20 charge). ZeroOne (who I linked) are definitely your best friends when it comes to buying two tones
