GiantKiwi got a reaction from cyrexx in Why aren't chronos consistent?
Except when 2 other skan chrono's professionally calibrated 2 days before going to one of their events disagreed with their's, as I had once. Even had them, and their calibration certificates with me and they still reckon my 2 were wrong with readings of sub 1J and theirs claiming 4 guns were 1.4J..

GiantKiwi got a reaction from Mos in Airsoft sites in East Anglia
Other alternatives:
Maddog Airsoft in Brampton, Cambridgeshire - Big, long and open site, has a bit of a scrapyard feel to it.
Commando Elite in Monkswood, Abbots Ripton, Cambridgeshire - Forest, and they have armoured vehicles which are used occasionally - originally only a Paintball site, have recently branched into airsoft as well.
Urban Assault in RAF Upwood nr Ramsey, Cambridgeshire - Big urban site, has fallen a little into disrepair as of late.

The 90's are back!
Don't get me wrong I do welcome the functionality and appreciate the work you put into the page. But it needs an UI from this century.

GiantKiwi got a reaction from Lozart in Front sight question
Yes, to change the front sight post you've got to replace the entire outer barrel.

GiantKiwi got a reaction from Sitting Duck in Another 'are these batteries the right ones' thread :)
I am straight out calling bullshit on that one from G&G, i've been using an ETU model for a few months on 7.4v LiPo's with no problems with the ETU.

GiantKiwi got a reaction from proffrink in Where have Nuprol BB's gone ???
Yes, if they're fired at velocities deemed unsafe (greater than 2.8J) in the UK against solid targets like concrete walls, but the Nuprol's were regularly shattering at sub 1J against soft targets like flesh.

GiantKiwi got a reaction from Esoterick in Anyone use Snus on here?
Nope. It's not Chewing Tobacco, it is Snus. You don't chew it, ever.

GiantKiwi got a reaction from Sacarathe in Airsoft gun for home defence
Dear god, why is this discussion still going?
Do not use airsoft guns for home defence unless you want to be living in an 8x10 box for an extended period.

Also worth mentioning that the sales of Snus is banned in the EU.

The SMG8 is filled with nightmares and spiders. Everything about it is awful except the price.

And you take it WAY too seriously. NCO's and Officer's? Really?

GiantKiwi reacted to proffrink in Gas VS Electronic
HPA has problems in winter?
To OP though: If you're unsure of the details then stick with electric. Anything outside of that costs a lot of money to get up to scratch - be it spring (with perhaps the exception of springer shotguns), CO2, green gas/propane/refrigerants or HPA.

GiantKiwi got a reaction from proffrink in Gun picture thread
Shiny...Unless thats gas or P*/SMP/etc based, Orga is a waste of time, you won't be able to produce enough consistent air volume to make use of its advantages.
