  1. A set of Call of Duty limited edition NVGs? Do they actually work?
  2. That's a very unique way of storing an M27
  3. I don't need much. All I need is new pair of boots, a dedicated bipod and some 'Nam style midcaps (stick some Magpul loops on them) for my M27 and maybe some cash. On a side note- anyone know where I can get a telescopic sight similar to this?
  4. It'd depend on whether the iPod can support the app. I have an ancient 2nd gen iTouch I'd happily use for it in a game, however hardware limitations mean I can't download any apps onto it.
  5. If it used a cheaper, more durable integrated control solution I think it'd be more popular. I wouldn't be comfortable having my personal phone in it during a game
  6. Most people are very generous when they give to the poppy appeal. However there's some who don't give at all- or even look at the person with the collecting pot or the tray of poppies. Some people won't even look at you if you're in uniform.
  7. Any G&G will be better than an SRC G36 which isn't Gen 3
  8. It's not just bore, it's barrel quality as well. I'd much rather have a nice high-quality aftermarket 6.04Ø barrel (if they were common) than the stock Cyma barrel.
  9. After a bit of a play through, I can safely say it's pretty cool. Night maps are usually quite difficult to get right in video games, but NWI have done well with these new night versions of existing maps. The flare gun is pretty cool to use, and NVGs are very useful. They don't give an unfair advantage, there's plenty of light from fire/vehicle lights/house lights. Players with weapon-mounted lights can blind NVG users too. I have yet to witness any use of flash bangs to blind people though.
  10. *NEW FREE INSURGENCY DLC PACK* 'Nightfall' focuses on night operations in Insurgency. The DLC features NVGs, flare guns, a new map (Verticality) and a new game mode; Survival. Survival puts players into a scenario where they must move around safe houses on maps, gaining supplies to fight off endless waves of enemies. Players can choose to directly engage enemies in firefights, or take the stealthy approach.
  11. Some of those head shots were brilliant, Bodge! I'd like to see a kill counter overlaid onto the video in a corner, will make it easier for viewers.
  12. Are you sure it's an SR-25? All airsoft ones I know of come locked to semi anyway
  13. Not really. The sound of the gearbox doesn't just come out of the barrel, and the motor is usually inside an AEG's pistol grip. While there are low noise builds, they need a lot of work to get right. Suppressors are mainly just for looks on AEGs. Although they are very useful on gas NBB weapons. I used to have a gas sniper rifle that was completely silent with a suppressor attached, aside from the sound of the valve knocker hitting the magazine.

    2. TacMaster

      TacMaster

Battery life's a bit sh*t on the rechargeables though, specially if they're old

    3. DX115FALCON

      DX115FALCON

yeah. I remember we went through 10 of them during a 24 hour radio op last year

  17. There are MOSCARTS available which are hollow and can fit 1 or 2 small foam balls in. Alternatively he could've gassed an empty shell up and stuck the balls down the launcher's tube and fired it.
  18. If you cut the barrel down, re-threaded it and reattached the flash hider, they'd be pretty nice length wise- might be a little like an SR-25's length
  19. Bejesus Geoffry! Get some DMR internals into those things!
  20. I've never heard of GFC or seen anything about them.....I'd suggest buying something from a well-known manufacturer as there will be more support on technical issues
