  1. Guns Modify also do a very nice and clear cover unlike some of the cheapo ones that allegedly are a bit misty at times.
  2. Dunno if this is going to be bested for the next few days at least: Spoiler: It's Well. I think the post got removed after a lot of hate.
  3. Well, in total aren't there something like only 5 factories that make airsoft BBs anyway? I remember that Nuprol thread and when I looked them up going after their tracers - turns out the only manufacturer selling their services for .30g tracers are a single company. Still, I guess it's the same with most simple products. Particularly foodstuffs are typically made in many less factories than one might think - Muller, for example, make most of the UK supermarket's own-brand yoghurt too. I do like the Guarder .43gs, but they're black and not everyone likes that about them.
  4. If you're not entirely fussed about the look, I can totally recommend the UTG red dot. Cheap, very bright and can also withstand the recoil from my DG M249 with no issues.
  5. Hm. Well let me know because I get ruined on exchange rates with Halifax. Might consider switching if you have a better experience given the amount of online orders I make.
  6. Yes but does your bank not charge for paying in Euros? Almost all do.
  7. Hm, I remember reading this some time ago, but IIRC the Glock 17 is about 0.7-8mm wider than a real one whilst the 22 holster is 1.1mm wider than a real steel G17 holster, so it's not a completely perfect fit. I've never owned a G22 holster, but I do have a G17 one that I use for my G18c and after some sanding it fit with absolutely no wobble at all. Is there any wobble with the G22 ones?
  8. Are you sure it cost you less? Almost all banks in the UK charge commission on converting your currency (even to Euros) and PayPal is actually far cheaper despite their less favourable exchange rate. I painstakingly tried all three checkout options and found PayPal overall was cheapest. Used to happen to me a lot last year with two separate banks because I was too dumb to switch AliExpress and DHGate over to GBP so it was converting to Dollars or Euros all the time. A lot of the time your exchange rate and commission charge won't even show on your statement until a few days after the payment too :S
  9. Ian is right. R-Hops are basically unnecessary unless you want a seriously long-lasting solution and are willing to put in the time and have the patience to do it. Most usual hop up rubbers will do fine. That said, this sounds like a problem with the hop unit rather than the choice of bucking or nub. Do you have a picture?
  10. Yeh, lots of people do it. With the TM Glock there are no ways around it - gotta get out the elbow grease.
  11. Take wet-and-dry to it, yeh. It's going to take you maybe 20-30 minutes but it's worth it. TM Glocks are almost 1mm wider than the real steel.
  12. The firmness of the nub doesn't matter a whole deal as you can mitigate it through applying more or less hop anyway. Really it's the surface area that matters, which is why a lot of people are modifying the flat nubs to work with extended R-Hop patches for a maximum, even hop surface.
  13. Oh come on man. You can't say stuff to tempt us like that and not provide a link! Was it these? http://www.airsoftatlanta.com/0-66g-Deathzone-40-White-BBs-p/25548.htm Because screw that. We had might as well switch to these: http://www.patrolbase.co.uk/airsoft-bbs/bb-bastard-nites-36g.htm#.Vjz_4MMST-U Edit:
  14. Welcome! Have you got boots or some hiking shoes too? It's been raining a lot recently and you'll need them.
  15. Oh wow, even Eagle6 are out of stock. Thank god I tacked that bag onto my Airsoft Pro order.
  16. Begadi do a lot of different metal BBs, but they're terrible for your barrel and especially so if you're using brass. Link.
  17. If you need .43s then try Eagle 6 as they stock Guarder. So do Fire Support.
  18. My thoughts exactly too. It's not like there's recoil to flip the barrel up like with a real firearm.
  19. Ooo, just coming back here to report on the general consensus from Sniper Forums, which seems to be using this kind of stuff for adding weight over anything solid: But equally a few saying not to add weight at all as lighter is better. Dunno if that still applies if the CO2 and regulator are going in the stock though as that's some serious weight being applied to the rear.
  20. Had a lot of fun ordering my VSR bits from Airsoft Pro. They charge you for using PayPal or even a debit/credit card to pay with. Bank transfer is 'cheapest', but actually isn't really because your bank will likely slap on a commission for converting your currency (even to Euros of course). All in all, I had to do the checkout 3 times but ultimately saved about a tenner by going with PayPal. Worth making sure of if any of you make orders from them in the future. Seems like the best option for service anyway like Monty says It actually takes you straight to PayPal afterwards to pay, but you need to be sure to select the radio button as it reverts to 'wire transfer' if you go and edit your billing address.
  21. It's possible. I've had the same issue before once - but you'd be incredibly unlucky. Don't wobble it anymore though - you don't want that thing dumping its entire contents all at once in your hands. I mean I don't think Nuprol 3.0 isn't all its cracked up to be, but it shouldn't be that bad. Take it up with the retailer and get a replacement can - explain that the nozzle is wobbly and that it's leaking when you fill. WE have silent fill valves so there shouldn't be any spurting unless you fill them a little too much.
  22. Just sounds like the weather then I'm afraid. I had the same issues with my WOC. Britain is only good for GBBRs for about 8 months of the year. A couple of things you could check are just the basics: Firstly, make sure your gun is well lubed - any additional friction is going to cause issues. Second, check your hammer spring is sufficient to get a full depression of the outlet valve. Although is shouldn't be the issue with WE pistols, the TM ones require upgraded hammer springs to hit the valve hard enough to dispel gas. This would explain why it's the same at room temperature (which it shouldn't be).
  23. I'm sorry that I have to ask this Neil, but we ask everyone: Are you holding the magazine upside down when you fill it?
  24. Because manufacturers embellish their products all the time. Nuprol 3.0 isn't truly a winter gas - I'd consider 4.0 to maybe compare to something like Guarder Powerful, but those are the only two gases I'd field on a truly cold day. What gun were you using? Is the issue identical at room temperature, and are you sure you're filling the magazine correctly?
  25. Mine seems to be working fine, but I've not actually programmed anything yet. The window does open and I can go through the options. It has an English language thing that you need to install. If it gives you more hassle let me know and I'll see if I can't write out some instructions from what I did.
