Hi all. I have got a wish list saved for trousers and a shirt from Ur-tactical that I am looking to buy. I have bought from them in the past and the quality is great. I have seen the same things from Emerson Gear and TMC. How do these two brands compare as I can pick up most of my stuff from Emerson much cheaper. Any information/experience of using Emerson/TMC trousers and shirt would be great. I have seen some reviews on YouTube, but I would reather hear from you lot! Many Thanks

Best memory airsofting so far; Climbing up a tree and taking out most of the red team with a MK23 pistol. No one bothered to look up when they were shot out, which the site owner watched on with amusement! This was six or seven years ago at a site called Ravensnest near Ipswich.

The CYMA CM.098 (SR25) already comes with the quick change spring system. I removed the electronic system and installed an Advance Gate Titan. My advice starting out with this would be not to change anything, the standard electronics still provide a very crisp trigger response. I replaced mine as I own another AEG which has a Advanced Gate Titan installed (TM SCAR H) and I like to mess about with settings! I did have to use a dremel to remove part of the lower gearbox for the electronics to safety fit. Checkout on YouTube as there are plenty of videos that go though how this all work.

I love going airsofting but sometimes I go through that phase. I would ramp up the warhammering or get back to finishing some games on the Xbox.

I run the following for my CYMA SR25. Advanced Gate Titan - Can do great setups. 6.02mm TN Barrel R Hop Having a quick spring change system is great to have. I will get try it out properly this weekend, cannot wait.

Make sure the sticker is in the correct place. Buy the cable, which you should of researched before buying, then calibrate. Sort out any errors that come up. When you have it up and running, it is well worth it.

Hi, I would advise what some videos on YouTube as you will find plenty of visual information for anything technical. The best questions to start would be this: What is the make of the AUG? - Will depend on what can be done to it in terms of internal and external parts. What is you final goal you want to achieve for your AUG? Do you do lots of CQB, built up areas, woodland? What is you play style? This will have an impact on what you do with your aeg. There are many more questions to be asked, with other members will gladly part with their knowledge. There are bound to be members on this forum that have AUG's who could help you out. With upgrades do a bit at a time unless you know what you are doing you can just jump in the deep end and do it all at once. Learn how each change with effect the aeg in question, then build on that.

Suppose you have to be a giant or a space marine to have that belt holstered??

I know I am bias towards this. I have a Gate Titan installed in both my SR25 and TM Scar and have never looked back. There will be other and cheaper options out there though.

Sort out the video and provide as much information please. What make is the glock, etc..

We Glock series I would recommend. I used my WE G23 for a long time before I changed the inner barrel and hop unit with a Maple Leaf. To be honest it was not really needed, but why not!

I’m a bit of both. My primaries are my SR25 and my TM SCAR (which I have worked on and am very happy with the performance of both). - cost, let’s not go there. Then my most trusty side arm WE G23, cheap as chips and had for a very long time. I was reluctant to do any work in my glock, but after one game of stacking up pistol kills, I thought yeah let’s do it. Again now it is even better. When I first started airsoft, I insisted of having genuine Crye products and now I am not too fussed, partly due to shipping and other out landish costs (he says eyeing up a Crye plate carrier). - Buying things like that is not an issue, it is just getting it past customs, which I mean my wife! 😅

Just buy a DMR, then do what you want with it. At least you will know what has been done to it, where as if you buy this you could open up a can of worms - that’s entirely your choice.

Set the tooth bevel gear to mesh with the motor gear first, then shim the rest of the gearbox? Must be YouTube videos that explain this better than me!

I guessing you can buy any spring that can take place of the original spring.

I would advise using a rental and speak to other players on the day. We are a friendly bunch of people and are happy to show off our toys. Try before you buy….now you have your UKARA!
