  1. don't suppose there's any update on release date, makeup of the body etc?
  2. My new TAC21 M700, isn't she pretty. and yes, I've got a suppressor and rail add-ons on the way.
  3. depending on size and strength, I thing I'd go for one, she looks pretty nifty.it also kind of reminds me of the morita from rounghnecks.
  4. my own experience of the ASCU v1 and v2 were excellent, if I could I would go back in time and buy a job lot of them, but the v3 (no experience of the v3+) was not a very good design and I would not have another one, the trigger cycle was very poor, it detected faults every hundred or so rounds (disconnecting and reconnecting the battery solved this) and I was not entirely sure how well it would've lasted with continuous 11.1v abuse.
  5. the helmet I'd put on ebay, it looks like one of the £20 chinese jobbies (if you can take a photo of the inside of the helmet it might be easier to identify), the grenades I'd keep hold of as home defence, your looking at about £20 again for all of them . the gun could be a gold mine though, could you take any photos of any writing on the gun, first guess would would be it was an "A&K M249 Mk1" in which case if it worked, people could pay up to £200 (if you were willing to wait £150 for a quick and easy sale), but if it didn't work I'd probably take it off of your hands for £100. just realised, is there a box mag around for it? if it isn't there take off £50 on my estimates.
  6. the higher quality printers (higher definition, smaller plate size) should be able to utilise the harder polymers and be strong enough to use (as well as accurate enough), personally I'd probably commision for a CNC hop chamber, i think someone on this forum did something similar. as to what I'd create, Gears of War armour, and a plastic lancer cover for an M4 (or something), probably take a year or 2, but look really cool.
  7. http://www.uktactical.com/ for tactical gear (plate carriers, pouches etc) http://www.tacwrk.com/en/search?searchstring=atacs+fg I personally got hold of these as I found them the best (affordable and quality) that I could find, steer clear of propper. http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/index.php/topic/17215-leo-kohler-atacs-fg-ubacs-and-trousers/
  8. http://eliteshootingcentre.co.uk/Gas%20Guns/Gas%20Pistol%20Parts/Items/C%20More%20Scope%20Mount.htm could also use similar rail systems and use a RIS to RIS system to allow blowback.
  9. Very much so, there was a plastic springer a few years ago, it'd be cool to have a AS50 similar to the SW M82 (V2 gearbox and a standard M4 hop).
  10. The AS50 BMG, looks absolutely amazing. I don't suppose anyone has got any inside info?
  11. Just put down a deposit for a Devtac Ronin full helmet and mask.
  12. I can confirm that these holsters can hold and have a good positive retention, even on a desert eagle, allows you to get one holster for all your pistols. http://www.uktactical.com/search.aspx?SearchTerm=universal+pistol&SearchTerm_Vldt=%0D%0A%09%09%09%09%09%09%09%09%09%09%5Breq%5D%5Blen%3D3%5D%5Bblankalert%3DPlease+enter+something+to+search+for%21%5D%0D%0A%09%09%09%09%09%09%09%09%09 the only pistol that it doesn't fit (that I've tried) is the MK23
  13. It is literally practice, first dozen or so were crap, now they're indistinguishable from store bought batteries (except for when I forget the heat shrink and electrical tape instead). You might want to check the soldering iron your using is getting hot enough as well (the solder should tin the end as soon as touch it). I believe XT60's use friction instead of solder though (certification required).
  14. can't comment on the site, but the gun is very plasticy (not in a good way), and Non Blow Back, recommend you save your money and get a real desert eagle or something better quality.
  15. Airsofting - TM hi-Cappa 4.3, works brilliantly, great range, great gas consumption, plenty of spares/upgrade parts and looks very cool/modern Real life - M1911, .45 acp will put anybody down, no questions asked, parts availability is very good, slimline grips and from what I've heard .45 is one of the easier bullets to manufacture Zombie apocalypse - revolver (preferably webley), extremely strong, extremely reliable.
  16. http://www.taiwangun.com/en/as-aeg-folding-stock-koer AS VAL for £100 on taiwan gun, really tempted myself

  18. having a bit of a mess around with my rifle, didn't have a problem with the weight but it was just a bit too long to use in anything but fields
  19. Hate to say it, but the first thing I thought was "where's her eye pro", then I saw her ...........
  20. Last try for quoting, how much did it cost you? and where did you get it made?
  21. weird, thought I had quoted it? edit; I know I had quoted both MP's and Ckinnerley quote on this one, something weird is going on
  22. how much did that set you back? and where did you get it made up?
  23. Why not go for the RS 56 and buy some real steel rail kits for it? Should still come within your £500 limit, and very few people have issues with RS.
  24. Probably this http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/hephaestus-hts-14-gbb.html#.VGkT7IrfXCQ Won't have much spare change though
