  1. Is there a glock version available where the selector switch is within the slide? I swear I've seen one somewhere.

  2. They're effectively useless, on multiple occasions they haven't loaded their weapons when going out shooting, never observe their surroundings, and tend to keep next to their spawn. they had a 6th member who was physically aggressive and he was given 2 chances before being banned. it's kind of sad really.
  3. I apologise for any slur, it was not intended, at my local site there are five people who exclusively use Multicam and they are the most unsportsmanlike people I have come across. I have edited my post to, hopefully, something more acceptable.
  4. It's actually not that heavy, the original gun weighs 7(ish)kg with bipod, I took off the bipod and added a bit of weight on the back (it is rather front heavy. Add on a full mag and the scopes, and we're still talking just a tad under 11kg, it's only unwieldy-ness is the extreme length (I'm 5"11 and it still almost reaches the floor). And yes, I do live for the looks of other players, especially the SF wannabes, my aim is to make someone wet themselves
  5. who said anything about sniping? that's my assault rifle F*** Yeah (P.S. It's an MP5 on the side, I have a revolver on a drop leg the other leg)
  6. I don't suppose anyone knows of any V2 gearboxes (and it can only be V2), with the capability of moving the trigger, preferably using some form of micrswitch?

Very interested in the ZCI, PMing you.

  7. where abouts did you get it from, and if imported, about how long did it take?
  8. just posting this up as something for people to dream they might get, but know that they will unlikely ever own. as well as things which are so useless and practically impossible to make/use, there is literally no point. first one for me: Just watched edge of tomorrow on blue-ray (no I do not like Tom Cruise, yes I do like Emily Blunt, no I do not like Scientology), and absolutely love it, especially the "Jacket's". for me my fantasy would be to own one mount one of these on the right arm (painted to look good though) http://www.bingoairsoftworks.com/bingo-airsoftworks-nerf-vulcan-xtreme-dual-polarstar-fusion-engine-powered-airsoft-gun/ and just a couple of moscart launchers (maybe 6 as they aren't that heavy) maybe even link them up to the air supply for the above and also make a completely custom M41A pulse rifle out of high impact polymer and steel using the classic TM Thompson and a TM M870 for the underslung (no idea where the battery would go).
  9. yeah, I kinda hate the mags as well, probably end up making some mag covers, possibly with some sort of low power heating element. nah, actually like it the way it is, except for possibly putting a different flash hider on, and using the 30rd mags. or maybe going the whole hog and indulging my starship troopers love (this is in no way connected to the other thread, starship troopers is my favourite film of all time) and making it into the morita carbine, possibly with an underbarrel Spas/ithaca.
  10. http://www.airsoftglobal.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=14009 I've been eyeing this beauty up for a few months now, and even though still very far away from being able to afford, have decided that I am probably going to end up with one. There don't seem to be any obvious review around (if anybody knows of one, please share), but my question is whether there may be any issues at all that people can think of. Things like; accessing the hop, changing out barrels, basic maintenance, legalities as the body is from a Real Steel rifle etc. thanks geoff
  11. if you talk to they guys at flecktarn.co.uk they might be able to help you out in terms of colours, was able to about 25m of 1000D ATACS FG from them for a competitive price. you could also consider Velcro backing them so that some people could mount them on the stocks of their rifles? P.S. if you do end up doing them in ATACS FG, put me down for 3-5,
  12. There's a thread about custom guns, I can guarantee that these will be in there relatively soon Edit - just forgot I was the one who created the custom thread.
  13. yep. snow wolf, if they were socom gear i'd probably sell them to buy a new truck lol, planning to ditch the bipods and just use them as battle rifles, maybe a bit of tinkering about with. they're actually pretty damn good guns, very simple. and nothing much to go wrong with. as well as lots of reinforcing everywhere. bloody heavy, but not unmanageably so.
  14. why buy one M82 when you can buy two M82's planning to get one of them cerakoted to the correct colour, and possibly just add a bit of green to the other as the brown seems to work pretty well with the ATACS FG. also got 4 mags with it, considering butchering the 2 that came with them to make a 10rd mag to fit a 120rd midcap.
  15. you might want to have a look at these guys for accuracy sake (and maybe save up for the helmet) http://chaucer44.squarespace.com/starship-troopes-morita/, and I know somebody did rubber mag covers which would increase the look of the gun tenfold. every other FAMAS, I'd agree, but the TM is literally indestructible (very creaky though) remember reading somewhere that TM over reinforced everything because it was their first production rifle. the Type 97, I agree might actually be a better starting rifle, the mag is more accurate, and the gun itself is a more modern design. but you will need to do more external modification work, with the FAMAS all you literally need is the M60 flashhider, the funky forehand furniture, and the mag cover.
  16. keep us updated on that, depended on how much it cost you, I might have a go.
  17. milspec does state that it doesn't fit the "HK416 (888)" but the WE 888 is the AEG version, so it could or might not, I would give them an email just to confirm. I found that my L85 did seem to work pretty well in the dead of night (0oC) as long as I kept it to about one mag load per gas charge, about halfway through the 2nd load of BB's (1st gas charge) she started to die. This was all on a bog standard L85, using normal WE mags, give airsoft-ed a PM though.
  18. that one states that it fits the L85, and just by eye the top half looks more E-Maggy than P-Maggy, I'd recommend giving them a call just to confirm (and so that if they turn out not to fit you have some defence).
  19. I've got a IMAX B6 and a Core RC UAC 50 (bought the B6 at a boot fair, week later won this on this forums giveaway, come to mention it, I actually miss the giveaway) and found that I much preferred the UAC. All the leads you'll ever need, plugs straight into the mains, as well as being able to run off of a car battery (have not tested that function though), and I prefer the much simpler and easier user interface. Just my 2 cents.
  20. I don't suppose anyone knows of any good quality NBC style suits, been watching outbreak and it has thoroughly freaked me out.

lol will save you from a chemical attack if your lucky enough to be wearing it. oh and think they call it CBRN now cos radioactive and nuclear arent the same thing. just get them from a surplus store or ask anyone in service to get them as they are an expense item they they just give out.

seen some Soviet ones on eBay for a reasonable price

  21. Yep it is, formatted everything and started afresh, works perfectly, must have just gotten unlucky first time.
  22. Bought myself an i7, liquid cooler, both a hdd and an sdd, graphics card and everything (deliberately being vague as everything is already bought) put it together and it worked brilliantly, blink and it had booted. Plugged it in to the internet to start loading norton and steam etc, but even before I could start up norton I had a dozen pop-ups and the first quick scan brought up 25 Trojans, I hadn't even been able to browse anything. Anybody else have crap like this happen?
  23. Still learning, on my 4th hr and done all the exams except for Radio telephony. It's actually relatively easy, kind of like driving a car in 3 dimensions with talking being used instead of traffic lights. Helicopter piloting is a b**** under a thousand feet (dependant on obstacles), over that and it's relatively plain sailing. Used to be an air cadet and loved flying in the Grobs, currently learning in a PA28 and hoping to grab a rating to fly the piper Seneca's. In my experience of cadet forces it really depends on the higher echelons, my first and 3rd CO (in the cadets) were total b******* and did effectively nothing other than drill and model-making, 2nd guy was awesome though, lots of flying, exercises with the army cadets, sun'n'fun, etcetera. 24. Bit of fabrication (welding pieces of metal together), mechanics (modifying my truck in various ways), horse riding, flying (and this one is the money killer), recently bought myself parts for a new computer to play a few games.
