  1. ^^Pic's not loading, Russ In that picture they look way more acceptable than those Begadi opfor objects which some on here attempted to claim were in fact a reasonable choice of apparel in which to airsoft, on the grounds that they were based on Rhodesian camouflage. ...I think we can conclusively put this issue to bed: Rhodesian camo = gear that may well help to conceal people in lush vegetation vs BE-X Opfor camo = gear which may well help to conceal people at a Magnum PI convention
  2. ^^Dunno about you but the woodwork looks a bit narsty to me. The clincher is down the bottom though (as ever): 81.50m / s (magazine at normal temperature*) 267.39FPS 96.12m / s (magazine during heating*) 315.35FPS * Google Translate A heavy full length rifle that performs like a pistol and only takes 11rnds before needing a reload.** ** Ian Translate If I had to choose I'd go with the Shoot and Scoot (which reminds me, I was talking to Warren from S&S about possible upgrades and he never got back to me).
  3. Different world back then, eh? "There's your gear; there's your kit. The kit doesn't fit in the gear? You're not on your father's yacht now, son. This is the army!" I'll take a wild stab in the dark and opine that the ammo pouches which do fit sten mags are only marginally more difficult to find than the famed peacock egg...
  4. Not very encouraging I'm afraid...
  5. And carry a webbing backpack to hide the 12V refrigeration unit...
  6. I've held a Marushin M1 and it is lovely. The trigger guard is pretty small mind and it has the usual gas gun problems with cold.
  7. According to JustPistols the BB's fall out of spare mags unless you use tape on them, because they don't have jaws to hold the top BB, just a hoop. Good FPS for a non-CO2 pistol though.
  8. And there's another gun on that ever expanding list of guns to get in the fullness of time! The donor gun is the ASG M70 Varmint - does anyone know if there is an upgrade route for it? I've asked Daz @ASPUK, so if/when he comes back with anything I'll repost it here, but it would be good if anyone has direct experience or knows somebody who has.
  9. British Army Grade 1 Surplus Altberg Defender Boots - £30 + £6 Shipping
  10. ^^Score? 'Kin score? That's a bit of an understatement! Does it work? For me: British Army Grade 1 Surplus Altberg Defender Boots - £30 + £6 Shipping - fleabay
  11. I'm planning on getting a few more of those trip mines though, so once bitten twice fuck off and die...
  12. Best to set that 12g primer off before "knocking" it anywhere mind It is a damn good idea though and, since mine cost me something like £12 iirc, I feel like kicking myself!
  13. Flecktarn Sniper Tape - £3.95 posted / 10m x 50mm roll > 2 days remaining
  14. Yeah, especially since the opposition was only comprised of kids and old men...
  15. Curses! Foiled again! Don't think there'll be anyone beating this deal: New Xcortech X3200 Airsoft Chronograph - £47.99 posted ~ Fleabay + 3 x New Classic Black & White Shemaghs (2 for sale £4.50 each collect in person) And from FB Groups CYMA CM.028 front sight, outer barrel, and base assembly - from 1 person Recent TM clone CYMA AK full gearbox Most of a CYMA AK Hop Unit And an AK-74M Polymer Handguards pair - from another person MP9 Holster (for my Scorpion) - from a 3rd
  16. Consider this revenge for telling us that Landwarrior have the £100 Stens back in... WW2 British Airborne Body Armour on sale £30 off for limited period!!! TBH I didn't know they even had body armour @Arnhem.
  17. Hmmmm... I'm not sure that going for an Ultra High Torque Motor was such a good idea. I think High Torque would have done better because it would spin faster.
  18. Geoff you star! You need some pointy ears with that cloak though, as it's clearly from Lothlorien. Bummer, Russ.
  19. So I bought some of the WW2 boot polish they're selling in this clearance sale - £1/tin. The tins are smaller than usual polish tins and a right ball ache to get into first time, because they have no twist opener... tbh, even after using a knife to get it open and you get the paper seal out, it's not totally simple to get it open again... but the polish is excellent!

max 70x75mm approx i think is best, no smaller than 40x45mm

  20. Hmmm... not what I heard, but hey ho. Bo Derek yeah. TBH, I was never that impressed with her. Just way too obvious. There's a part of me that would have enjoyed far more tying Julie Andrews dressed as a fetish nun to an X for a fully perverted session... anyhoo, she was in it as well
  21. ^^Good thinking. How about this though... Julie. WTF? Weeeeeeell... the name "Sten" comes from "S 10" Submachinegun 10 Samantha in the film 10, the only female S character, is played by... Julie Andrews
  22. Now that just shows a lack of imagination, Cap'n. Don't you know that you have to give your rifle a girl's name, cos that's the only pussy you're gonna get!?!
