  1. Not until it goes grey then... could be a long wait
  2. How much do I want that Sten? I can almost taste its full metal BSA licensed goodness... Would make WW2 re-enactment games a doddle for kit too - just retask my telnyashka and a beret, get some onions => Voila le Maquis bien sur!
  3. Yeah, I use my Cold Steel training knife with a lot of my loadouts - it may just be because i'm such a fat ill slow git that the marshals realise that i'll never get a chance to actually get close enough to someone for a knife kill but I live in hope Anyhoo, grab your panties girls, I have my hands on the rest of my seasonal/birthday gifts: an ICS AK sling for my SVD, because it finally dawned on me that I'm not going to spend £25 on a RS one, a lovely SSh68 Soviet helmet, internals all present and correct: and finally, the LCT accessory to rule them all and in the darkness bind them: ...not actually fitted here, just leant on the mag for this pic Oops, and almost forgot: the compensator and outer barrel for a KP.45 Match - satan alone only knows if it will fit on my Palco USP or what the FPS would be if I added an inner barrel with an extra inch on it - being CO2 I wouldn't be surprised by 10, even 20, added to its current 370, but I'm actually considering cutting the inner barrel down to reduce its awesome power for wimpsoft sites. A cheap gas USP will crop up eventually, or maybe I should put the compensator on a MK23 for Robocop lols...?
  4. I love the fez! Holster I'm dubious about - it's a bloody awkward place to draw from over the top of a dropped slung AEG, which would still be moving as you bring your right hand across. I'm probably over-thinking it, but the only time I've absolutely had to rely on my pistol was with my SVD diagonally across my chest against 2 people carrying AEG's patrol fashion, muzzle down, in a situation where we were all mega surprised to find each other there. I drew my USP from a really low slung drop-leg (which put the grip exactly where my hand drops to naturally - I have gorilla stylee long arms) and shot them both before they could raise their muzzles sufficiently to get on target. Now you'll just have to trust me on this, I do have quick reflexes but I haven't practised quick draw skillz not that there's anything wrong with doing so it's just that, so far, any obsessive compulsive energy I've had spare has gone on practising mag changes for various guns from various rigs... Still, it'll do for just carrying your MK23 suppressor on. The only other practical solution would be a shoulder holster. I don't think that even an ASG Strike Systems MP9 Thigh Multi Holster would work, because the suppressor would stick out so far that it may interfere with squatting and would definitely get grounded into whatever muck was underfoot... unless you converted it to a waist belt set up.
  5. I'm not suggesting it is crap, Chris, it just looks it.
  6. I love your African loadout, Nick. It's the kind of thing you can really have some fun with and still be authentic *dreams of his SLR working* even that fucking Begadi Hawaiian shirt camo with sufficient red dirt ground in...
  7. I'm not impressed, Ed. Especially when I think of your ICS L85. Having said that, maybe you need to spend that much on this too Then I think of firing my new CYMA AK-74 out at the tree I use as a dark background for testing sniper rifle shots and being unable to stop myself from giggling - came with a chrono test sheet too so I'm not worried it's just over powered
  8. Chris, that holster is horrible. It looks like a kiddies' cowboy costume or summat!
  9. Well, to be precise, describing something inaccurately for the purpose of making money is Obtaining Money By Deception, so not theft exactly, but I'm pretty sure the offence is covered by the Theft Act, so technically it is Really Stealing
  10. Dunno yet - probably Phatima the 74U b/c she feels best in hand and has a couple of mods in the pipeline which will make her even cooler (but her stock is on the way out), but Tatiana the 47S shoulders best and by then I'll have put an Element M105 spring & AB MOSFET in her so range and trigger response should be good, and although Morena the 74 is new, I'm definitely in love (a new stain & bakelite pistol grip, better rear sight repair/ RS replacement &/or Elcan Spectre red dot on a side mount and she should be 'show off standard')... However I've also got a project "Terrorist AK" in progress, built around a real 'steel' wooden stock, a G&P aluminium/steel alloy receiver, and a tactical front end with a knurled ali tube vertical foregrip, which will run ICS MC-108 fast quiet helical gears (unless I put them in Phatima beforehand) an ICS drilled ali piston, Matrix Double O-Ring Piston Head, and various other badass GB parts TBA - so whatever I end up naming her, she may well be flavour of the month by the time Shining Light is on...
  11. @Dawn? Morning, noon, and night, day in, day out, ad nauseam...
  12. Oh, I'm not saying it's a good thing, it's just a fact. They're part of UKARA and influential within it. This is one more reason why we should be fully behind having the sections of the VCRA which relate to us repealed entirely, not modified, in response to the ACPO statement that the law, as is, is unenforcible. Because UKARA can be no good for airsoft as a sport or a hobby with the likes of jbbg involved in formulating retailers' position for the Home Office.
  13. Jbbg are a big noise in UKARA.
  14. Not ready to do a full review yet (and there's things to whinge about), but omgonads my new AK shoots well

I'll not be able to skirmish it until 11th iirc, so it'll be after then.

  15. The moral of this story is clearly that you should always come onto AF-UK and discuss any potential purchases before actually coughing up the money. As has been said, there are numerous threads which cover what wankers justbolloxguns are, and there's a few that are all pretty similar with "bbguns" in the url - there's also SAS Special Airsoft Supplies iirc who are complete rip off merchants. There isn't another jbbg thread active right now, so i think it best to leave this one up in General Discussion where it's more likely to be seen by any noobs contemplating buying from them.
  16. Bummer. I use my phone. 5MP is just about good enough to show people what I'm on about, I think.
  17. ^^There was a pic when I 1st saw that post - a G3 SAS iirc Anyhoo, a parcel just arrived from Poland with most of my seasonal/birthday gifts in it and some stuff I tacked on to the same order from taiwangun.com: CYMA CM.048 w/ Guarder SP100 spring (fires @ approx 341FPS) & 3 x CYMA metal AK-74 Mid Caps + AK-47S ACM Stock (for the nut, so it can replace the lost one on my Inokatsu/TM) 1 x 800rnd RPK Hi Cap (to make 4 inc 3 mid caps to fill a pouch and replace busted quad-stack as backup) 1 x SVD Mid Cap (also to fill a pouch) 2000 0.32g P&J white BB's (the heaviest white BB's currently available - let's hope they're good!) 1 x Dummy Soviet F1 Grenade "Limonka" (for coolsies - it does bugger all, not even holds BB's)
  18. £5 say + postage. It should be £3.70 2nd Class Recorded but may get into a £1.90 big envelope - i'm not @home for a couple more days so I can weigh it and practice folding then. Obviously I'll put a pic up somewhere for you to see what you're buying too.
  19. Somewhere under a massive pile of airsoft related tat I have a modern British Army ammo bandolier which is surplus to my requirements, if that's any use to you Mr. B?
  20. Free to a good home: 1 x British Army DPM S95 Jacket 180/104 - a bit knackered but well usable / 1st come 1st served - you just need to pay the postage which will i think be £6.70 for 2nd Class Recorded, but if I can't get it folded into "Medium Parcel" size, or it's over 2Kg, it will be more.
  21. 65m x 3mm Paracord in 5 pieces off an actual parachute - £11.19 delivered ~ Fleabay 3" x 2" - £4.51 delivered ~ Fleabay ACM SERPA Molle plate - £7.50 delivered ~ Fleabay 105x55mm - £4.84 delivered ~ World Hobby on Fleabay Matrix Double O-Ring Piston Head w/ Bearings - £9.93 delivered ~ Fleabay AK-47/74 Rear Sight 20mm Rail - £11.90 delivered ~ Dual Deal Shop on Fleabay Element M105 Spring New - £6.00 ~ Fleabay
  22. Got the first of my seasonal/birthday gifts: Pyrohide & Kevlar - but unlike my other ones, padded on the fingers as well as the knuckles - with any luck I'll not need another pair of winter gloves before I die so they're a dead cow well used.
