  1. Yeah Chris, but we've sussed you out... that's why you bought 2 guns the same, innit? So you could get one chrono'd safe and then use the other one hot... "Whaja mean hot gun? What, you reckon I've got two guns the same or something? Behave yourself, you saw me chrono it so fuck off!" Oops, that would actually work too...
  2. I bought a nicely faded Soldier 2000 ripstop DPM Field Jacket t'other day for 99p on fleabay - £5 shipping so if anyone wants a pretty knackered 180/104 (i think - it might be 180/112 and i cba to check right now) S95 jacket for the cost of postage, pm me. I also ended up with a surfeit of PTFE tape, but it would cost more to post than it's fucking worth. Still, if anyone who knows me f2f wants a 12m x 12mm roll, it's 35p Edit: yeah, it is a 180/104
  3. That's what we need. I think "baton rounds" is going some for those rubber bellends, mind.
  4. Hmmmm... maybe Santa is a brunette with big tits...?
  5. Yeah, although I'm not sure I'd trust just any old 2mm polycarbonate not to crack. I know 1mm is useless, as is 2 layers of it (I had some that was cracked anyway from a picture frame), but I haven't tried 3. TBH I was mainly looking for something to protect sights not torches, so visual performance was very important - less so with torches. Anyhoo, those 3M goggles are only £1.69 posted if you fancy a cheaper alternative.
  6. It fires moscarts then? Is it a replica made for airsoft or a real deac? We used to have a few deacs to piss around with @ATC when I was a nipper... oh what fun... before airsoft existed. You young'uns don't know what bored means, I tell ya! Oops, seem to be channelling my dad... [reset] normal service will soon be resumed [starting up] do not adjust your Ian or power down...
  7. Yeah, that's one reason why i haven't bothered trying to save up for an RPG-7 => it's just a masssssssive moscart. A LAW that fired 40mm rubber bellends off CO2 shells would be good enough though, I think. Nerf footballs would be better, or water rockets like that Hakkotsu mortar.
  8. That is one badass looking ugg boot, my friend! Your face in the pic "...imagines gun"
  9. Does the LAW fire anything and if so, what?
  10. Well, 2 layers doesn't work - the BB's go through. But in doing so they loose enough energy that my torch which i tried this on is still working fine. I bought some cheap 3M protective goggles off fleabay - they're really cheap new. Just haven't got around to cutting the shapes I need yet...
  11. Got a 2nd hand usb graphics pad. This is my 1st time using one. Could be a lot worse, methinks. Hands though. Well, what can I say
  12. Nah, now you're just making excuses. Go see the doctor, mate. You know it makes sense
  13. Yeah, but it's about buying - I did buy the vest and I will buy some pouches for it but just this too: Really? Not like any I've seen...
  14. You mean like this? It looks to me as if the vest will take 2 pouches on either side horizontally.
  15. Most of it is 105mm but the centre of the back is 165mm.
  16. Is it the Raptor handguard RIS which has a diagonal sloped front end? Whatever it is, I think that's the best looking M4 front end I've seen. If only someone would make a pistol grip which increased the distance between the backstrap and trigger by about 20mm and ambidextrous H&K stylee fire selector levers for AR15 variants. Put those on an LR300... If you'll excuse the lack of patience and graphics talent Actually I'd sack the P-mag in favour of bog standard scuffed up metal midcaps too; same MBUS & RSA as Chris, but an ACOG and PEQ on top; a fuck off 2x18650 XML T6 torch on the right; and one of those grips that split in half and deploy spring legs as a bipod.
  17. Cheers Ted. Cheeky, could you measure the width of the bit that the belt goes through, please? Maybe i can just slide my back protector through one. You could buy my dodgy double battery one off me cheap. It works fine on full power, but the other modes don't work.
  18. Yeah, I think that's right, but I spose their method uses pre-calibrated gear. The thing with commercially available LED's is that there is no standard distance of meter from light source, nor surroundings/reflectors, etc. so while we can reasonably hope that the figures for the products of a given manufacturer should be be consistent with each other, once it comes to various Chinese factories putting LED's in torches, even if the figures they were quoting were the output from the torch, rather than the potential of the LED, we could hardly trust them anyway. It's not just Chinese manufacturers though - that was my main point really: there is no internationally recognised standard for any manufacturer to adhere to so they just make up their own tests.
  19. This is a single 18650 battery one vs a dual 18650: In the outdoor one, the ambient light has made my phone camera screw up the contrast - the porch lamp across the road isn't really as bright as it seems, the brighter torch can easily light up the wall next to that lamp, but my phone can't see it I was surprised to learn a few months ago that there is no accepted standard way of measuring lumen output, but what I also found out is that 1600 is what a single XML T6 is capable of, according to the manufacturer, not what the torches kick out. I forget the deets now, but I'm pretty sure the voltage wasn't the same as used in these torches anyway...
  20. Yeah, they used to offer cashback through topcashback too, but no more. I think my best bet might be to get some MTP ripstop nylon or something similarly lightweight and make a cover for my proper back support. I'll be able to do a few different covers. It's just getting round to it
  21. Oh right, I get you. Can you tell me how long it is from one end of the pad to the other then, please. Yeah, I've got 3 single XML T-6 LED torches: 1 is dodgy, 2 are great, so I spose i'll go with Meatloaf on that I'm hoping for 'kin ridiculous from this new'un tho! Edit: actually I've just remembered I have 4 - so 3 out of 4 beats Meatloaf
  22. Yeah, your waist measurement doesn't help much because I would wear it much higher up*. I'm about 36-7 so I buy 38 / 96 to be sure of comfort these days. Now I've thought more about it, I need to know how long it is from the buckle to edge of the opposite side of the pad and also how long the trailing belt is. Oh yeah, and I won the auction for this: 3x CREE XM-L T6 LED 3600 LM Lumens Waterproof Torch - £16 delivered ~ dove-xx Imagine the strobe on this bastard!?! EDIT: * what I mean is that i'm slimmer than my waist size higher up, especially when my back protector is pulled as tight as it needs to be for proper support.
  23. ^^Yeah, the shirt works well. Dunno about tan kecks as well though - a bit US Navy. Would you do me a favour? Measure the inside of your new hip pad, please. It's possible I could use one as a back support instead of the black one I currently use, which would go nicely with the blufor loadout I'm building.
  24. Thanks lads. Yeah, what I actually want is an Umarex KWA KP45 Match, but I'm not sure when, or if I'll be able to afford one. In the meantime I could do with a USP that isn't CO2, fires under 350FPS, but not so far under that the drop in range from my Palco will piss me off so much I'll wish I hadn't bothered. But maybe I should just try and save up...
