  1. Right then, this is the score: As of this moment, including 2 for me, I have requests for 13 patches wanted by 9 people. Cost of delivery to me = £2.50 / 13 = £0.1923 per patch. The cheapest envelopes I can find in a quick fleabay search are £2.29 for 15 or £0.1527 each. Thus the cost of delivery from me to each of you: 2nd Class Signed For Letter = £1.63 + envelope = £1.7827 So it will cost those of you who want just 1 patch £7.98 and those who want 2 patches £14.17 all in, assuming you gift the money to me by PayPal. I will provide you with my home address, landline, mobile, and email address, plus, for anyone who wants it, my eBay ID so you can inspect my 100% Positive 805 Feedback Profile as well as my feedback thread in our own Classifieds forum. If you insist then naturally I wont hold it against any of you who wish to send the money as a payment "For Goods or Services", however since this is not a sale from me to you, but rather a collaborative buying enterprise which I am organising purely because I want a couple of the patches myself, I am going to insist that you pay your own PP fees of 3.4% + 20p (putting the price for 1 patch at £8.47 and 2 patches at £14.88 - pls see enclosed screenshots of PP Fee Calculator App below). Now that I have a definite quote I am inclined to advertise this collaborative buy on FB as well, just so that we can have a whole bunch of them made at once (bear in mind that I am going to end up paying for excess envelopes that i don't need, so even though adding greater numbers will barely dent what you lot all pay, unless we do get requests for 50+ patches, the closer the parity between people ordering and an amount of envelopes I can buy at circa/<15p each, the better it will be for me). Plus I just think it will be cool to have a whole bunch of us turn up to sites all over the UK wearing them the weekend following delivery and a whole chunk of the "Photos From The Field" thread dedicated to the hilarity which will ensue... (i type with my tongue so far into my cheek that my head is anvil shaped ). However if the majority view is that we should just crack on, or that there's a desire for exclusivity, I could only leave it until the 8 of you have got the money sent to me before placing the order with Nicky. Those of you who have made patch requests please indicate your preference by replying to the poll. N.B. I realise that I am being far more cautiously comprehensive with my language concerning this venture than is necessary just to organise a few acquaintances putting a few poxy quid together, but my experience is that things do occasionally go wrong with such collaborative efforts through no fault of any member of the group, such as suppliers letting you down, postage being clowns, 3rd party disasters which require a member of the group to pull out due to needing every last penny to bail the granny out of the Magistrates Court cells, etc... and it is only by being 100% transparent that my reputation for trustworthiness has weathered such cock ups unscathed, so if we can keep the tittering behind my back to a minimum, I'd appreciate it
  2. EP3's are not too bad, but tbh all multi-chamber stylee plugs suffer from 2 major drawbacks - 1) they are only as effective as their fit in your ear'ole allows, so do not be afraid to modify them to make sure that they do go right inside, so that those flanges make good contact with the walls of your ear canal forming completely enclosed chambers inside, and 2) the more effective they are, the less you will be able to understand speech, because they attenuate upper frequencies much more than lower, which is the area where the sounds which distinguish consonants fall, such as the difference between the plosives "P" and "B"... If you are serious about ear protection, you need to have plugs tailor made for your ears. I use these. They are very comfortable and give around -30dB protection. However they are still useless against low bass and subsonics, so you should still do your best to avoid being in rooms with pyros...
  3. Yeah, on the obscenity issue - we are simulating killing people with assault weapons. I know it's a game and it is just a laugh, but if anyone seriously thinks that the word "fuck" is more offensive than assault weapons, real or imaginary, then they can indeed fuck right off.
  4. My plan is to get them sold at the price it costs to make and post, i want 2 meself, so the way to get em is get a bunch made - not arsed about a profit. Check my new thread about it anyhoo...
  5. OK so further to discussion elsewhere on the forum, if I can get patches made for about £8 posted, how many of you will want 1 or more? My plan is to have a bit less margin and have the finished article being about 65mm high, with a plain black edge and velcro on the back. I've redone the pic in higher quality as a pdf for the manufacturer's software to deal with easier. You can see that here. I have asked for a price for a few sized batches and to have about 5mm extra margin all around the pdf image. Any ideas, things i've missed, etc please don't hold back. For now, guessing by other patches i know have been similar i'm guessing at about £8 posted per unit, but depending on take up, it could be a shade more, but then again if it goes monster it will be less...
  6. Actually i think the crown makes it that much funnier... off to "Stitch Me Up" to find out how much for patches...
  7. Keep Calm & Untwist Your Knickers 'Kin love that top 1 mate - oh how i sniggered... almost squeaked out an actual lol!
  8. Actually no, I don't know, and yesterday i got banned from No Bullshit Airsoft for telling a cheeky bell end to fuck right off and die, so I can't actually go back to find out from the geezer i got the tip from - but you could. It's in a thread started by Martin Squirrel about eye/facepro with fans... geezer called Daniel Summitposh-Aruthers IIRC (that's a joke btw, it's just Dan double barrelled name). My guess would be AAA though...
  9. Keep Calm & Resistance Is Futile On
  10. Yeah, i can image that any of the patterns other than Typhon would look great on kecks with either of the ATACS pattern shirts. Even Multiwank kecks would probably look better than they usually don't under a Kryptek shirt. Holy splodges of colour, Batman! I've just realised how ACU (or whatever ppl are calling it these days) could actually look 1/2 decent - kecks under Kryptek Typhon shirt!
  11. Where did you get it from, mate? Ever since i 1st saw Kryptek i knew i was going to have some at some point. It is just completely, totally tdb / sci-fi come to life, man - it's taken a while, but it's paid for... just waiting on post from Latvia
  12. This is Oleg whom I bought the helmet & cover from. It has not yet arrived, but he only sent it just before new year, so that's no surprise, but it's probably worth hanging on until i can give his gear the thumbs up for sure. If anyone from here does talk to him, tell him that I put you on to him - it may get you a few USD discount.
  13. Is that the one that someone whose typing skillz could take a refresher was selling in the classifieds, or have you gone for a new 'un, mate? I've been planning a tacticool RPK DMR for a while, but I had forgotten all about the PSL - that would make more sense for my proj really. Hmmmm... thinking cap, where art thou?
  14. Well hey, if you caught what i said on fb this early am about current economics, just bear in mind that the strength of the pound is likely to become subject to an increasingly greater degree of fluctuation as the next year progresses, as hedge fund managers begin using betting against the pound as a surefire way to offset the potential losses of high return riskier investments and several dopier investors (UK Banks which the Tories have earmarked for failure & sell off to their cronies cheap) end up holding stacks of £ Sterling they can't shift without having an everything must go garage sale (since just lending it into the UK economy will be tantamount to throwing it @China {as a new consumer credit boom begins and everyone wants a housefull of new shinies which they will later drag out paying for and/or just default on... again, as wages fail to keep pace with the cost of living... again... and people have to start making more private provision for essential services because the Tories are under investing in the public sector... again}). So it could well be argued that the time to do it is now, while the USD<>Sterling rate is pretty good, since buying from the likes of profarmy.ru is all in greenbacks, even the postage. Did i tell you that i'm also waiting for a fibreglass 1-to-1 6B7-1M helmet replica with SS Leto cover for $110 posted from Russia? Can't say fairer than that, eh?
  15. What's Ian looking so about? ...why, the crapness of his photo skillz! These boots will probably not make it into the field with this camouflage much, if ever, but they are modern Russian Harpy's so they sort of go with the БАРС КМЛ "Сумрак-М2" (BARS KML "Sumrak-M2" {Twighlight-M2}) and the oh so spetz-fashionable Brubeck single piece woven bally. ...very slim fitting which is great for my skinny feet. Teaser of cuff detail... The best shots I could manage in the current light in my gaff: ...this last un gives you some idea of the fabric. It's very lightweight, which is great for keeping heat down when running about, but raises some questions over longevity. There are double layers on the arse, knees, and elbows though, so it may prove to be hardwearing enough. The top only has the 2 chest pockets and i did originally want 4 pockets minimum on whichever SS Leto camo top I chose, but for the price ($83 posted) this was too good to miss out on. It also comes with some loops like mini belt loops arranged like molle around the shoulders to hold light straps for a battle belt type rig or a lifchik in place, which may prove useful (I do actually have a berezka lifchik which barely ever gets an outing primarily because its straps are a pain in the hole, so we shall see how that goes), and mesh panel vents around the face and under the pits. Very much summer wear then, but I believe that lots of thin layers are better in the cold anyway, so you can gradually lose 'em as you warm up due to exercise, so i fully expect to wear it soon. That said, I'm not taking Velure-stylee boots onto a woodland site until the ground is baked, so they will have to await the arrival of the Night Python (Kryptek Typhon stylee) suit my Latvian contakt is threatening to post this week, which i intend to become my go to CQB loadout. Thinking of getting some cheap Typhon webbing from airsoftpeak.com to go with that, but I also need 4 double RPK mag pouches in black and the only deal i can find so far is going to cost me €90 posted ffs, so I may have to hold off on that until after the Balshoy Bolshevik Bash 2 in March... BTW, I realise it's fashionable to apologise for pic heavy posts, but quite frankly this is a pic thread so if you haven't got unlimited data on your phone then don't bother and if you don't have broadband @home you can't afford airsoft so off you fuck...
  16. Yeah, amazing that they didn't have one before, but if you know the Russian for what you are after, you can now search profarmy.ru for it. As a guide postage rates tend to be about $30-35 US. You fill in the order form and wait for an email from them. Type "Postage to UK" in the box where they ask for your choice of post. The box which a google translate of the order form page labels "Index" is for your post code. Be aware that it can take a few days for them to get round to emailing you, but if you have any questions Anastasia via [email protected] is the woman you want to speak to. Pashlee!
  17. Poster on the top: "Keep Calm & Weird Gun On"
  18. Turns out my SS Leto suit from Russia has been delivered by Parcel Farce to the wrong address. Signed for by someone called "S. Panther"... er... is my name not on the poxy label? Can you not fucking read the massive sign on the fence by the front of my house which explains that this is number 246, which includes Flats, not 244 which also has a flat and is covered by the same post code. But afaik there are no fucking Panthers next door either, so fuck knows where it is, V^^VGrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Anyway, I just paid £20 for a DDR M56 cone head helmet - woohoo! And i managed to track it down @no. 294 - i live @246 - good job Parcel Farce! OMGonads it's great! And my Harpy boots arrived too woohoo! Double OMGonads they're so slim fit they're amazingly well shaped for my feet - if you have hobbit hoofs then probably best order the next size up and that probably goes for all Garsing boots. Just bought: Cooler Fan Version Outdoor Paintball Airsoft Glasses Goggle Ski anti-fog lens £24 posted - i read a good review on fb just now & the ESS knock offs i bought with the fan in the top centre turned out to be a bit shit, but the geezer reckons these have the fan at the side and that it circulates the air nicely - we shall see in a month...
  19. Surplus DPM's are always a good stop gap - you should be able to get shirt and kecks off fleabay for £20 or less posted. Always good to have as spare too, for times when you may want to be on the 'green team' when a game is divided into green or tan camo types for ID instead of armbands. Plus you'll be able to lend 'em to a mate at some point when they see fb pics of you looking sub zero 'in combat'...
  20. Looks like a nailgun to me grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
  21. You can wear OD gear on top of just about any camouflage except Kryptec Typhon or any of the blue urban camos. It even looks good on top of plain black.
  22. Her livery changes periodically, but here's Svetlana with homemade ghillie wrapping:
  23. I see the plight of the Back Garedn POW's is no longer sexy news around here. You're all so shallow, man! I'm trying to get Amnesty involved...

You do know that one of these days the OP (first known vet) of backgaredn will see us taking the piss out of him, and flip out right?

Yes, but if you go 'postal' up a clocktower and try to start sniping people with a Well AK74, you will be lucky to hit the ground with your shots, let alone any innocent bystanders, so I think we are safe.
