  1. Geoff's do bio ammo in heavier weights.
  2. Only £400 for a rifle that's £250 new! https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/rif-s/spring-powered_2/de-m66-pro-700-sniper-rifle_i40894
  3. What are you trying to do, and where are you planning on doing it?
  4. TBF, the pulse rifle is just a Thompson in a body kit.
  5. I don't think there's much available for the M50 unfortunately. It's an entry level rifle, with a lot of proprietary parts, that are almost, but not-quite like other models.
  6. I don't remember there being an Uzi in Quake? There was the nailgun and super nailgun but no Uzi iirc.
  7. Looks like an HFC M8000 at a guess. The smaller brother of the M92. I don't know if you can get mags for them anymore unfortunately.
  8. Welcome! A quid is to a pound what a buck is to a dollar. It's just a slang term.
  9. If you're wanting to keep it under 350/1.13J, would a better question not simply be "How do I get the most accuracy and consistency out of my gun"? You can use any normal AEG, just make it perform well, and then never use full automatic. Then it'll be usable in your non-DMR DMR role, but simply have it depend on your ability & skills, as getting rid of semi won't give you any material advantage if you're keeping it at standard AEG levels.

  11. Tbf I think it's the speedloader that's bumping up the price.
  12. It's too early for this. I've barely woken up. 😑 https://airsoft-forums.uk/classifieds/item/28865-bundle/
  13. If you want to use the maple leaf bucking, you could speak to @ak2m4 and buy a ZCI barrel. They're pretty cheap and decent, and should work well with the ML. Inner barrels
  14. What barrel and model ML bucking are you using? Check that your hop window is suitable for the bucking, as some can be too small to work properly, and post up a photo if you can.
  15. Taking it in a different route, do you wear glasses? If not, how's your vision, and have you had an eye test recently? It could be something as simple as that. I struggled with spotting people at a distance for a while, until I finally found out I needed glasses. They made a world of difference once I did though!
  16. No, that went years ago! 😂 Where are you playing nowadays?
  17. Same magaz from Ambush Strines, of the white gloves?
  18. Hooray! First day out with it and my new type 89 died before I even made it to the safety brief. 🙃😭

Found that shapeways do a replacement part, but the cheapest shipping is almost £15.

      What the actual fuck. 😑

      Massive, pendulous oofs.

What brand should we be avoiding?  I'm only seeing TM Type 89s.

It's a Tercel, which I think is just another rebranding of the Jing Gong or Both Elephant.

I don't think it's the brand itself necessarily, as I had one about ten years ago for a while and had no problems.

I think it's just age, it'd been sat in storage for a while according to the advert.

I wouldn't even have needed to open it up, but it was doing over 380fps when I got it. 🙃😅

  19. We have a doozy of a macks today! An older, standard style marui MP5SD5 could be yours for only £700! 🙃🤯 https://airsoft-forums.uk/classifieds/item/27947-heckler-koch-mp5-sd5/
  20. I've had mine for several months now, and I'm really loving it. I've had a few minor niggles, that through trial & error I've managed to sort. My thoughts (and based solely on my experience): First of all, in its stock set-up, and using 0.45s it will shoot straight up to around about 65m, but lack the lift for anything more, despite what I've seen online. It shoots very well up to that point though. I bought some of the modify H nubs to improve it, and they definitely helped with lift. However, one problem I noticed is that it would shoot lovely in the morning, but once lunch hit and warmer temperatures my accuracy would take a nosedive. I tried out a few different set-ups with varying performance before eventually settling on the original style bucking but in 70º (The standard is 60º I believe), paired with the blue modify nub. Maximum confirmed hit I've had with it so far has been 92 yards, due to summer overgrowth at the site I've been using it at, getting a clear line of sight has been a problem, so further may well be possible. This has seemed to have sorted it, and I've run it all day for a few games without issue now. (Fingers crossed 🤞) Barring those initial issues, it's been absolutely wonderful, and probably to be expected, much as you would if you were building or upgrading your own, so not big deal I guess? It's got a fairly hefty initial price tag, but compared to what I've probably spent upgrading my VSR/T10/T11s etc. I'd say it's come out much cheaper at the end. A new bucking and nub and it's shooting at least as well as my other, older rifles. The only other thing I would consider doing to it is finding a new piston to make it as quiet as possible, once such things are available, but that's purely preference and not essential.
  21. There's an appraisals section in the classifieds for this very topic.
  22. THIS ADVERT IS 'UNCOMPLETED' - THIS MEANS THE ADVERTISER HASN'T BUMPED THIS LISTING, BUT IT COULD STILL BE WORTH CONTACTING THEM.

    • For sale
    • As new

Brand new, not even removed from packaging, bought in error. No use to me, and firesupport don't accept returns of springs apparently. I'm after £15 all in.

    £15

  23. Finally got around to opening up my Type 89 for a downgrade & bucking change, as well as greasing the (bone dry) gears and a new piston o-ring.

Bought it a few weeks ago and It was a little too spicy unfortunately. 😅

I tried an M100 first, and that was way *way* over 1.13J, but thankfully one from my random bag of lower-powered springs was ok, and it's sitting about 0.9J now, so ready to game for next week.

Version 8 gearbox wasn't as bad to work on as I remember it being, I just need to rewire it now.

It's one of the clones. Tercel/JG, I believe.

  24. Have a look at the Action Army T11 too, if you're intetested in sniping. It's a VSR base, so upgrades are plentiful, but with a fresh modernised look. It also comes with a 90º trigger as standard, so you'll save a lot of money when you come to upgrade. It comes in low powered as standard, but a new spring & piston will help with that. https://airsoftdirect.uk.com/action-army-aac-t11-airsoft-sniper-rifle/
  25. Even £150 new elsewhere: https://www.308-sniper.co.uk/aug-a2-aeg-black.html
