  1. He's updated the advert but not the price. Although it's still up as a 'high cycle'. 🤔
  2. This set my spidey-senses off. First of all, it's in a Jing Gong box. Secondly, don't Marui only make the High cycle Aug in a short version? https://airsoft-forums.uk/classifieds/item/27115-tm-aug-16-high-cycle/
  3. Why is it in A Jing Gong Aug box?
  4. Maple leaf buckings are designed to work with their own omega nub, due to the shape.
  5. Are they not designed to work with the same mags, just in a different way? The g&g has a normal V2 gearbox and an elongated hop unit & nozzle, whereas the A&K is a longer V2.5 gearbox with a standard M4 style hop unit. This should place the magazine feed in approximately the same location. I remember trying this with my old A&K, and a G&G hop unit and from what I remember it seemed to line up. Admittedly, It *has* been about 12 years since I did it, so I might be remembering it incorrectly!
  6. Trigger is an old ASPUK Dan Mills Sniper one trigger. https://youtu.be/c6dLsZUok2o Barring the trigger and barrel, Most of the parts look to be somewhat middling, and definitely not £700s worth unfortunately.
  7. Ah yes, just seen he's closed until the 9th. In that case, Outdoor and Tactical is another decent option for internals.
  8. Version 2. Just takes your standard parts. @ak2m4 has a good selection.
  9. Tbf, there are a few sites that still have some in for less. £500 is just cheeky for 2nd hand.
  10. How bad is 'all over the shop'? At what range? Using what ammo?
  11. First of all; big necropost. 😅 Secondly; UK law doesn't recognise DMRs or anything like that regarding Airsoft. You have the legal limit for single action and semi automatic at 2.5J iirc, but for safety's sake, sites will obviously set it at a lower level, which for DMRs is generally anything from 1.48 to 1.88J (Approx 400 to 450fps when measured on a 0.20), or 2.3J for single action rifles, but that's for safety & insurance.
  12. Would you like to buy a Cyma CM.028 for the low low price of only £350? Well now's your chance!
  13. From what I've heard, the CO2 adapter for the SVDs puts out shots that are way too overpowered for skirmishing. Something like 600+FPS.
  14. The scout is great, had it for a few months but only managed to game with it a couple of times so far. Out of the box it's very good, but there's a few small & easy things to do to make it better without spending loads. I've put heat shrink on the spring guide to remove some noise on firing, and installed a modify h nub to let it lift heavier ammo easier. (I use 0.45s) Other than that it's good to go as is. Bolt pull is light & smooth at full power too.
  15. What exactly happened? What bits and how?
  16. Took out my SVD yesterday for a test, and unfortunately it just wasn't running very well, even on 0.36s. It was windy, which didn't help, but even without that it just didn't seem to have much range or accuracy; I was struggling to make shots at even 50m. Going to have to go back to the drawing board and find a new bucking to use (and maybe barrel). Unfortunately, I only get chance to test it once I get to a site, so it's a long & slow process. 😩
  17. I used to get some blaster 0.36s from s nearby retailer. They did bottles of 3000 for a very reasonable £23, but stopped not too long ago unfortunately. Finding a sweet spot is a bit of a ballache. I've got a Cyma SVD and from trial & error I've found the following: If I use anything more than 0.36s I find the hop needed to lift them drops my power down significantly. Anything less than 0.36 and the power is too high for my regular site (425fps on a 0.20 9r 1.68fps). Struggled to find a bucking that works decently too, the only one that's really worked okay so far is the old style maple leaf autobot in 60º. *Edit: the large bags of BLS ammo from skirmshop seems to be a decent price. Used the 0.45s in my bolt actions without any problems, and had good results. Visually they've been pretty much identical to Geoff's 0.45s https://www.skirmshop.co.uk/bls-036-bbs-1kg.html
  18. For what you've said? Honestly zero. I don't see the point in spending money solely for something like that you'll be using at home. The Money could go towards something useful like guns, accessories or clothing and get 100x the value.
  19. Any night vision for £200 or less isn't really going to be worth having imo.
  20. What ammo do you use? That'd be a better starting point than changing anything internally. Use good quality, mid-weight ammo like 0.28 - 0.32 (if you're not already), where suitable before changing anything.
  21. Decided to get one of these, out of curiosity. 😅
  22. Look for a video on YouTube covering it. As I covered in your other thread, you'll unfortunately still need to do about 80-90% of a full strip down to be able to access the spring alone.
