  1. Thanks, @Rogerborg. Much appreciated. Unfortunately i may have to get creative with the garage door as its used at least four times (me & wifes cars) a day and is an electric up and over type. I'd love to change it for a sectional one but theyre stupid money. I'll invest in the those locks for the very much unused pedestrian door though.
  2. Ok, so CBR is inbound next week, the garage now has a defined spot where its going to live (is big...LOL). so after youtubing myself to death and still ending up confused, what security do people use? It looks like the shopping list from an S&M specialist but i'm looking at a ground anchor, a 16mm chain with big ol' lock, disc lock and maybe a U lock for when i'm (eventually) out on it. Apparently it has an alarm and is datatagged. Sound about right?
  3. The plot thickens.... A 5 month review of a 6 month review of a 3 year review. Or some shit like that.... Anyway, it appears that "modern warrior" aka Big Jon who ran the shop at Apocolypse, now has the shops at three other sites too. AND IS OPENING AN ACTUAL SHOP. LIKE, BRICKS AND MORTAR type thing. In Farningham/wrotham/brands hatch type area....
  4. So, in order to achieve a few things (appease the wife, pay for CBR, eat, you know the usual malarkey) i may have to thin down the overcrowded wall of toys. I have no problem selling them on here as i know most people arent eejits, but as a few of them have no original boxes, i have to ask. What do people do when they sell and post a pew? i'm talking AK/L96 size of things.... i dont want it turning up as an AK23.5 or an L48 ( ) I'd prefer people come and get them as they can test in the back garden over a coffee but some people live a long way off.... TIA. ๐Ÿ‘
  5. In my time honored tradition of being late to the party, welcome to the mad house. Most of the guys i play airsoft with are very similar in the fact that they are also nuts. I like the flag idea! One of our regulars also runs around blaring something inappropriate (venga boys apparently? no idea who that is) and makes for a satisfying kill. Enjoy and long live the chaos!
  6. Tenuous link time.... Egon from Ghostbusters was kinda my hero and with my surname being rowley, I figured it was close enough to egon ronay (foodie type) to use it. I likes me food, me. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜
  7. Where's that thread with the guy that just builds awesome looking guns? I can't find it...

Cheers dude. I'm getting old. ๐Ÿ˜‚

  8. Gah, this is turning into an epic. I've gotta reorganize the entire garage to get the CBR in and I appear to have accumulated more crap than a crap magnet! I've spent all day sorting it out and on my second run to the dump! Like my airsoft stuff, I have too much of it. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Wife's not happy either but meh, she'll live.๐Ÿ˜
  9. And down the rabbit hole we fall.....๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜‚ Currently printing a mk23 outer barrel for my "trung" short version after the boy decided that we should resurrect it and actually use it .. along with a 14ccw thread to take shhh pipes. I keep thinking that my aap welrod would be better as a mk23 as no blowback and quiet but that's a project for another day/century...๐Ÿ˜
  10. Put some of that sticky car sound deadening stuff inside it, that'd be awesome at shutting it up.
  11. 80's stuff is the best anyway..... Welcome to the madhouse. Kent you say? I've yet to experience Imperium but i do the under 18's days at Apocolypse in detling/maidstone/sittingbourne (wherever it is, its smack bang in the middle of that lot!) as i take the ungrateful little oiks that listen to crap and toctick all the time......
  12. I wish I had the time to do this. I live directly opposite a model shop and they have a butt ton of awesome looking stuff. All of the lads in there do Airsoft aswell which kinda helps the conversations we've had about paints and whatnot. ๐Ÿ˜
  13. That dog....stuff of nighmares...
  14. Lol. Yeah, I know what you mean. I know the owner (my older brother) and it has sat unused for over 6 years in his garage just collecting dust and not doing anything. Not entirely sure how many parts you could still get for it, being a G plate. Is also become one of those "born again bikers" that used to annoy me at the local greasy spoon meet ups. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Used to live opposite a guy who had some aftermarket pipes on one of those, sounded like an anti aircraft gun on tick over...๐Ÿ˜‚
  15. You're not wrong. I was supposed to start a job in Acton, NW london and living, as i was at that point in gravesend, SE london and out a bit more, i figured that a sensible commuter bike was in order. There was a 6 month waiting list for Bandits so that went out the window. The XJ was alright, not setting any lap times and not overly exciting but it was bright yellow and filled a gap. Unfortunately the job fell through (legal bullshit ensued!!) and i ended up with the Divvy. Meh. Minor update: might have the option of a 1989 CBR1000 in shellsuit colours....Non runner but clean....
  16. Heh, loving this thread. Some awesome bikes in here. I dont have many pics of my old ones as it was still 35mm and cartridge film, seem to have lost most of them after moves/divorces. Passed my CBT on a DT50MX in red/black. Moved onto a TZR125L Moved onto: RD250LC (hand grenade on wheels that tried to kill me many times) XJ600N diversion XJR400 import ZZR400 import and then just for a laugh i bought a GSX750 teapot. Which i rode three times. Three times i nearly got smooshed (used to commute through the dartford tunnel) so kinda gave up at that point. Ahh, those were the days. Wished i'd kept the RD though. mental bike. The guy i bought it off was a racer, he'd tuned the nuts off it, twin disc setup, allspeeds, hangers, massive rear tyre that only just fitted in the swingarm, you know the sort of thing. Did just enough to get you moving until 6k then went off like a banshee with its balls on fire. Been thinking about getting another one but living in the south east, the standard of driving is dire at best, so not sure my 50 year old ass could take it.
  17. Any RC model shop would probably have something like that. It looks just like the one in my boys cheapy RC car.
  18. Corfu is distinctly lacking in Airsoft shops. But sells alcohol that could get a spitfire engine running from cold. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ตโ€๐Ÿ’ซ

Well good news on the toilets, they've moved into the 20th century. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Currently watching the offspring trying to drown each otherย

Dragon flies keep landing on the wife's feet (dragonfly foot fetish? Is that a thing? ๐Ÿ˜‚)

  19. I believe it's a gate merf 3.2. I need to go through the settings and make sure the active brake is off as the grip seems to get hot quite quick. ๐Ÿ‘
  20. Shootin' a healthy 1.05j consistent now with added MOSFET goodness with a three round auto. Just occasionally I get it right ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
  21. Sooo..... Tiny update as I hate threads that just die with no resolution... Went again to our site and had a great day. His mp5 was chrono'd at 0.7j on .28's. checked mine against theirs and was pretty much bob on. Cool. I used my G3 which was embarrassing and generally poo, but that's another story. Through the day he lost power and eventually used the back up DE badger. Yesterday I stripped it out and then realised that it was a "toptec" with the air cylinder blow back thing. So I swapped cylinders so no more blowback and on the SAME SPRING, chrono'd at 1.4j!!!! One point four. That's nuts. Also a tad illegal but I'm redoing the spring today. So remember kids: keep it simple. Blowback stuff on toptec is poo. Lol ๐Ÿ˜‚
  22. New rule in our house: NO MORE CHEAP GBB PISTOLS!!! fed up with not being able to fix the sodding things when they wear out or break.

Now I have a WE Glock that likes to hang up more times than it fully cycles. Must avoid them in future!!

It's in the box to fix if possible or break for spares!!

I've had an entirely problem free WE G19 gen5 for a few years that has been fantastic. A more recently WE g17 gen3 has proven to be a little more fussy with magazines/gas - with the right magazine and/or gas pressure it is fine, but it definitely doesn't like cold weather or cool down - especially on non WE mags (e.g. those sourced from an AAP and Army Armament).

  23. Awesome. Mines got the king arms doofer on the front so it's basically a suppressor with a mag and trigger. ๐Ÿคฃ I was looking for that daft hop cover that retracts, the plate on top of my v3 had the bits missing and the rubber covers went AWOL too. ๐Ÿซค๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿคฃ
  24. Yay. I can finally get some parts for my TM one!!! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ
