What you may find is the GBBR nut will fit both , and the AEG nut will only fit AEG .

I just fitted a series2 bocca rail (12.5” black ) for someone to a WE GBBR , and it came with two barrel nuts one went straight on and the other barely a full turn so I assumed that was for AEG . Did neither of yours not come with two ? Or has the new one not turned up yet ? as for Specna , I fitted a HAO mk16 rail to mine with the aeg spec nut and it went on with no dramas at all .

Whilst not the quickest option , have you tried contacting G&G directly ? They will sell spare parts and shipping is reasonable ??

EBay for surplus , the army cater for nearly all sizes so in my opinion that’s gonna be your best bet . Not all but a lot of Asian reproduction stuff is 2 sizes smaller than in states so be wary if buying blind .

Has the mag got the slider on the side? possibly HFC or Classic Army ?

You said it’s easier with the upper receiver off , what’s it like with the bolt held back ? Same as with the upper completely off ? I always try and get in the habit of loading and unloading with the bolt or in pistol case slide held back .

But what rifle is it for ? Because it might fit ??‍♂️

Can you show us what parts and where ? It’s really not worth messing around with HPA so if it’s the actual hose that is failing I’d just bin it off . But if it’s a parts fitting together problem then pictures will help .

bugger ! this was way quicker than I expected , ordered on 26th and here we are . im hearing that most U.K. retailers should start seeing the rifles landing by the end of this week so fingers crossed yours will land too . I was set to buy another complete rifle myself but seeing this made much more sense**** for me as a just a tinkerer & plinker . as you’d expect , it fits together perfectly *** although the money saved has me looking at a WE Apache SD6 for the warmer weather ??‍♂️
