  1. The ACRO itself popped up at a good price so it was a a very indulgent treat but these things seem to hold their value well so if the time came to move it on I don’t foresee a big knock . truth be told I never really left the collecting /tinkering/hoarding side of airsoft , just the playing but some old and new contacts are turning the thumbscrews so I may make a guest appearance at some point 🤪 it’s been a busy couple of years with a few curve balls but knife making is very much back on the menu very soon and thank you !
  2. there you go , you saved me typing it up 😛 its actually a solid performer , I’ve been using a knock off RMR which whilst looking good won’t hold a zero or it’s battery life for shit , I spied a B&T Acro Glock MOS base plate whilst ordering another part and thought I’ll give it a go and see if it fits … which it does i wondered if it’d struggle to cycle with the extra weight but pleasantly surprised that it does not here’s a dodgy one handed cropped vid giving it a whirl , if it stops raining I’ll try again outside
  3. I’m in the same boat / mindset at the moment . Once Guarder release a sensibly priced kit I’ll be all over it . The AW version didn’t do it for me at all , just felt very cheap and rattly in the hand . So for the time being it’s just stock TM for me.
  4. This advert is COMPLETED!

    • For sale
    • Used

A job lot of KWA/KSC glocks for sale , too many projects means these all keep getting shelved , all in various states of functionality but for the purpose of this advert I’m calling them NON WORKING and as such SOLD AS SEEN . £135 posted for all three , no splits .

    £135

  5. The actual sealing washer or gasket (the one that surrounds the piercing pin ) for most Co2 pistol mags is usually proprietary rather than a standard oring . Leaving co2 cartridges in the mag is the usual way of buggering them as they are under constant pressure and just deform . you may find some cross compatibility from other mag service kits , try looking at the 4.5mm / .177 side of pistols as they are all Co2 and as such service kits a little easier to find.
  6. sorry to hear that , my last order went smoothly .
  7. https://www.sixmm.com/products/copy-of-tokyo-marui-mp5a5-high-capacity-aeg-magazine-for-tokyo-marui-mp5a5-next-gen-70rds?variant=41152811958433 just had a stock notification if anyones looking .
  8. Shit happens , send it back and try again . At least it didn’t actually “blow up” 🍿
  9. if you are ever looking for the correct rail then Kings arms make one , pretty sure it’s a copy of the VLTOR CASV rail system https://www.titano-store.com/en/c/airsoft-c28617/rifles-external-spare-parts-c28846/ris-ras-handguards-c28911/casv-m-vltor-ris-for-m4-king-arms-rifle-ka-ras-23-bk-p910517
  10. You can spend as much or as little as you like on airsoft , and the same can be said for a full milsim event . repro gear has never been cheaper so there is no real excuse to not “fit the brief” in a basic sense of what your side or team should be portraying . if at any point in your airsoft gaming so far you’ve felt it unfair that someone else on the opposing side has deeper pockets than you then milsim is not for you , you’ll just come away feeling resentful . from a personal experience from both sides of the coin , I’ve had some of the best airsoft experiences of my life rolling around in trucks at 3am under NODS as well as wearing a £5 ex surplus Croatian smock , a pocket full of Mk5’s and a JG AK . it is what you make of it , if you don’t want to get spanked under NV then try harder , if you don’t want to get spanked while wearing NV then don’t roll around in a truck all night and above all else , if you don’t want to get shot in your sleeping bag or whilst putting the dinner on because it’s 1800 , sleep and eat in your car . “There is no safe zone” was always the golden rule of milsim .
  11. Nothing too technical which is the way I like it these days , but I will follow this thread with interest because I’m always up for learning a bit more . And I may call upon the masses at some point for help with this behemoth of a GBBR which ill be giving a full strip and service with a bit of a tinker into a true semi auto beast .
  12. nice thread 👍 I’ve been playing around with Airsoft guns for a while , and WE GBBR for quite a while now too , if I’m right and recall correctly since around 2010 . For a skirmish rifle back then the Ratech NPAS was mandatory , middle summer could see a GBBR hitting 450-500fps quite easily and they don’t last long at that on stock internals . When I played it was almost always on single shot (I also had PTW’s , all modded to semi & 3rd burst ) so living the semi auto life was an easy one and an easy transition . So a simple power reduction was all I ever did unless something failed which in all honesty wasn’t very often at all , I don’t ever recall a “catastrophic failure” or enough of one to put the gun out of play . WE GBBR get a bad rep but like most things I’d say it’s mostly user error (like mag dumping on full auto in February) and regurgitated nonsense from people who’ve never even owned one . Don’t get me wrong , gas rifles are not for everyone , you’ll be outgunned at most of your average walk-on days but used sensibly they are a lot of fun and easy to work on . Circa 2012 , a WE 416 GBBR in the wild 😛 Roll forward a few years and I’m still tinkering about but not playing anymore , but I still give the guns a good work out . Quality imo has come on nicely with the WE rifles , my only gripe is that the trademarked versions are a bit more difficult to source , im still a kit slag but I can live without that detail (just about ) . all my rifles now just get a basic inner barrel and hop rubber upgrade from maple leaf , crazy jet and 60dgr rubbers seem to give me a decent accuracy , minimal stoppages or jams and hop .30 nicely across the garden, if skirmishing presents itself again then I’ll probably go the NPAS route yet again. externally , whatever I can get my hands on .I’ve found Rails from HAO offer great value and quality , upgraded buffer tubes over the stock ones , RS pistol grips / stocks all give the rifle a much higher quality feel at not a lot of money these days . Here’s a few of my builds , I’ll chip in some more later but if anyone wants to know parts / where from etc I’ll do my best to reply & help.
  13. The Mp5 Lego set grows the rear stock adaptor whilst being very well made and looking very nice is a very poor & loose fit despite being advertised for the MP5 NGRS , so this is going to need some looking at or binning off , which is a shame
  14. WE GBBR are a lot of fun , just get stuck in
  15. Surplus Store had a couple in last week , more on the way I believe .
  16. I like the WE platform , easy to work on, parts are obtainable and affordable and there is a good range of models (when available) Imo it’s a good stepping stone into GBBR’s.
  17. More of a mini jigsaw puzzle than custom but the only TM part of this TM G19 is the magazine body 😛
  18. Do you have a military vehicle 🤔
