  1. Great info everyone , thank you very much for your input , it’s really appreciated I think the JG budget option may be the way forward to scratch the AUG shaped itch , if it persists then I may look into the GHK or upcoming KWA Lithgow some more… however , please keep the info and experiences flowing, it’s all good info for new and old folk like me thank you
  2. I’ve a hankering for an AUG , preferably an A2 in my life but which one ? of the electric AEG options which one has the best externals ? Internals (as long as standard V3 ) I’m not too fussed about as that can be sorted , but I don’t want the shell to be too flimsy , and the barrel / upper assembly rattling about . JG , ASG & Snow wolf seem to be the most prolific from new , but I’ve no hands on experience , are they all made by the same OEM ? of the JG / ASG there seems to be a sportline & proline , what are the main differences ? GHK GBB … what’s the crack , are they any good ? I see them pop up often secondhand but not in stock very often at U.K. retail , so is it just the same ones doing the rounds ? Or … are they all show & no go . KWA Lithgow F90 … I’m keen on this too but not sure on KWA GBB as a whole , are the current range reliable ? any help & opinions appreciated to keep an aging collector happy
  3. In basic terms yes , a little at a time . Lapping stones come in handy here rather than aggressive filing which would then need polishing out .
  4. Your just going to have to either fettle the slide or frame or both . look for the wear marks forming already , that will tell you where it’s binding up the worst .
  5. you should probably read back what you’ve written earlier , and that may answer the question of why everyone thinks your gun is running low
  6. It’s 200fps off where it could be so somethings not quite right is it ? but if it’s nice and snappy and you are happy then so be it ??
  7. then something is way off , I’d be taking a much closer look at your rifle and chrono settings .
  8. If it’s tiny screws that may strip & it’s loctite just try holding the tip of a soldering iron in the screw head for a minute , the heat will often soften the loctite without damaging anything else .
  9. @Heckeris your chrono set to MPS ?
  10. Similar experience myself , bought a second hand gen1 UH1 which had a few dead spots in the reticle so sent it in for a look over , got a brand new Gen2 UH1 in its place within 72hrs
  11. Couple more squint a bit cloners
  12. Random 1911 but I like it
  13. It may also help to say where it was stolen from , when it was stolen and if anything else was stolen along side it .
  14. do they really offer a 12month warranty ? genuine question .
  15. That’s very cool , I like it
  16. Another quick and dirty squint a bit movie clone build ?
  17. Holosun PID , been waiting to try one and so far doesn’t disappoint , build quality is decent and it’s a nice alternative to the Surefire / Streamlight / inforce offerings
  18. the op has this model : https://www.opticswarehouse.co.uk/vortex-strike-eagle-1-8x24-ffp-ebr-8-moa-illuminated-rifle-scope £450 is a very fair price for a great scope and fully transferable warranty , wether you’ll get that on here though is anyone’s guess .
  19. Serial numbers and barrel numbers point to KSC . Pretty sure it’s pre system 7 .
  20. Old school milsim used to be close , only real cap mags or a total BB limit of say 300 rifle / 100 pistol etc and you can only carry what is loaded into magazines , no loose ammo and no reloading mid game . It was fun
  21. Google will show prices of £300-£400 stateside I expect , realistically selling here and shipping within the U.K. I’d say around £200 , if it has the original sheath , box and paperwork closer to £250 . certainly a nice piece , if not a little niche but I’d certainly be interested if I saw it pop up for sale somewhere as they don’t come along very often .
  22. not that difficult at all , clean workspace , a little patience and decent tools
  23. latest m92f military in a Guarder kit ???
