I like the weathered look, and yeah, the scope looks a little weird. Like the stock and rails though
 
I'm half-looking for an ACOG for my M4, want it to mount straight onto carry handle. Any recommendations? Not too dear though, I've gotta buy new internals for it soon.

420 FPS is definitely legal, and will be allowed at certain sites. Urban/CQB sites will most likely not allow it, but woodland sites where the engagement ranges are longer will generally have a 500 FPS limit for bolt action rifles.
There will be a minimum engagement distance (usually 20-30m) for higher powered rifles (normally anything over 350 FPS), and some sites will say you have to have a side arm (pistol or similar) for use at closer range.
 
That said, I'd recommend against a sniper as a first "proper" rifle, simply because out of the box, it'll be no better than a standard AEG and will limit the sites you can go to and the type of play you can do.
To get decent use out of a sniper rifle, it takes quite a bit of money in upgrades, and a lot of time fiddling with it and making tiny adjustments.
I'd recommend a G&G Combat Machine AEG instead as a first gun.

That's because you're most likely applying basic physics, in that an object will fall at the same speed and reach the ground in the same time, regardless of it's horizontal velocity.
You're forgetting that airsoft guns (with hop ups) but backspin on the BB, which keeps it in the air for longer. What BrightCandle said above about comparing distance of heavier BBs with lighter ones at the same FPS is right; the heavier ones will have more energy behind them.
Even at the same energy, a heavier BB may travel further (to a certain extent) as it will be less effected by drag and will slow down less.
 
If I were you, I would only rely on the table as a very rough guide though! The actual range you get out of your gun will be dependent on many factors and will be very specific to your gun. Even if someone had the exact same gun as you, with the exact same parts, giving the same power output and using the same BBs, you'll most likely get different ranges due to very small differences.

Not all sites have the 350 AEG/400 DMR/500 BASR limits.
I know of a few sites that allow 500 FPS DMRs, and others that have 450 or 425 limits for them.
That extra 50 FPS allows you to use a slightly heavier BB, but with it reaching the target in the same time, so you get the advantage of more range, accuracy and energy to punch through obstacles such as leaves and twigs.

I'm loving it, it's taking some getting used to, as the only other car I've driven is an 05 Ford Mondeo :L.
 
It needs a few things doing, paintwork needs touching up at least, a full respray would be best, some of the rubber seals around the windows are original, so need replacing, driver's seat has a tear in it, so that needs fixing, the aerial doesn't go down, so that needs sorting, and I want to put an original cassette radio in it, as the current CD player doesn't suit it and is a cheap one. It also needs a new set of locks, as the boot and driver's door are on a different key to the ignition and passenger's door...
 
Other than that, it's all good. All rust etc. cut out and replaced with new metal, completely wax oiled/undersealed underneath by previous owner.
 
And the best bit: everyone seems to love it (apart from Lozart! ).

Assuming the site has no bang rule bollocks I'd have done the same thing.
If I get the jump on someone ill often give them the chance to take it without getting hit but ill be prepared to shoot if they try anything (somewhere where it won't hurt of course).
If he had a sniper rifle and no alternative for these situations he probably deserved to get shot anyway. You can just run into people expecting them to take hits left right and centre.
 
My local doesn't operate a bang rule but suggests you give them a surrender option, the key word being option. Best way to deal with the scenario in my opinion, if he had a suitable gun for the situation then he'd have gotten away with it.

Con is a BAC reps and he's attempting to speak on my behalf I haven't retracted ANYTHING. I'm still lost why you can just admit you cocked up say sorry and get on with it instead of just constantly making yourselves look stupid. And if all this has been sorted then I've had NO contact to be asked to retract anything and NONE of what I have posted has been fabricated AT ALL what purpose would I have in doing that why would I make lies up about something for nothing I WOULDN'T the email posted clearly shows all it needs to prove what it is.
