I watched a review of it yesterday, looks awesome and perfect but not in stock anywhere. Is it really as quiet as the MK23?

A stock MK23 and socom supressor yes. If you start adding 3d printed stuff and fart flaps the MK23 is probably a touch quieter. But as I say I use the longer supressor on mine. It's quite nifty with proper baffles and cones inside. But we tested it at the receiving end and you couldn't tell someone was shooting at you.

  2. The ICS PM2 makarov is as quiet as the MK23. The only downside is that it doesn't have the after market support. The MK23 can be made to out perform everything. The PM2 scores very much on style and is a lot smaller. It takes a CO2 bulb but will chrono no problem. It has a very heavy trigger if you want to rapid fire it so it's better to cock the hammer with your thumb. If it had the same after market support as the MK23 it would probably be the go-to sniper backup but that doesn't look like it's going to happen. Still if you want something smaller than the MK23 and just as quiet, but don't need it to perform circumcisions at 70 meters it's an option. I like mine. I did buy the larger suppressor for it. And the magazines are little sticks that are very easy to store.

  3. The flip side of this... Several times I have had a teammate on a barricade or something in a much better position to throw a smoke grenade than me. I have called "oi mate", clearly showed him the smoke grenade and gently thrown it underarm so they can pop the smoke. Free pyro! Great right? Smoke out and we all advance across the bridge or open area. No... They promptly run away and get shot thinking I had somehow got behind them covered them for fun and decided to taunt them with the means in which I would end them.

  4. I cleared a pillbox once by shouting grenade and lobbing a Mr Kipling apple pie through the front. This was a regular skirmish. No one was declared dead (and I wouldn't expect them to be) but they did run out the back doorway like their arse was on fire. All fair and above board. But grabbing someone else's pyro is not on really. Diversion or distraction is fair enough if using your own gear and initiative.

I'm sure TM have been intently reading this thread and as such will be announcing a GBB Hi Power at next week's Shizuoka Hobby Show. It's on my vision board ha.

Well if they are I will take a GBB upgrade to the MAC10, same as the mp7 please...

  6. On the subject of disability there was a player at awa (didn't get his name unfortunately) who played in the woods in a wheelchair. I saw him fall sideways off a pallet bridge once when his wheels slipped on moss. I watched him throw himself out the chair to the ground and pull the chair Infront of him as cover. I watched a complete wanker call this out as cheating, no seriously... He can't do that! He's using his wheelchair as a shield!

Great attitude and had a blast.

Everything has a work around if you speak to the site. But I'm sure there will always be that one dick that claims somehow it's an advantage.

  7. The only thing that really interested me was the magazine system. The ca microgun takes a moment to reload down the centre A quick change magazine is handy. To me given the shape, it's begging to be under mounted on a full size minigun.

  8. One thing to consider though... If they are producing another run of the original M60, they normally have a rather comprehensive range of spares. So if you wanted a proper hanger bracket and trigger group for the A&K it may be available. Not cheap, but cheaper than buying a full gun!

  9. The LCT box mags on the original is rather lacking. It's basically an M16 hicap with an electric winder. The gun is beautiful and perfect for living history groups or vehicle decoration. It shoots like any other AEG. The simple fact is the A&K will out shoot it and keep chugging along for thousands of rounds. The LCT needs more of a bust as the magazine can't really keep up. So will I be picking up an long E3? Probably yes because it will plug a historical gap and will look fantastic. Would I buy one as the best option for a support gun? Nope.

Although I hate the fact the E3 is now considered a historical gun. Shit I'm getting old.
