  5. Never quite understand these only used 3 times adverts. Still means used doesn’t it? Maybe a bit optimistic on the price as well.

If you could confirm if Mary does indeed love Dick, that would be great.

  8. On a positive note the positive stop fits, could be 0.5mm small but they do the job. Although I have made more than I will need now.
  9. Been a bit ill recently so apologies for delays in any replies.

Also have had a load of positive stops for pp2ks. Will test fit one tonight so if anyone wants one please let me know.

  13. My personal view is that it doesn’t matter what clowns/party are in charge. They would all ban anything in order to get votes so political affiliation doesn’t matter. All these people want is to line their pockets at the expense of us. Apologies but I’m so disenfranchised with politics in this country. I can’t see it being better under labour or greens or anyone else for that matter.
  14. Yeah they are decent printers. For most parts absolutely fine, I prefer resin for more detailed parts but they aren’t as hardwearing and you need to wash and cure.
  15. First decide if you pla (plastic) or sla (resin). Pla is more hardy and better for larger part whereas sla is better for smaller for detailed parts. Price wise you can spend £150 up to a couple of grand. I personally starting would spend no more than £300. Stick with the major brands like flashforge, creality or prusa etc. CAD can be expensive but you can download free CAD software or just use cults, thingiverse or something like that to download files. Slicers are free and should come with the printer. Parts size will depend on the printer but remember the bigger the print area the more money you will be paying. Costs personally are too much if you are only doing stuff for yourself. I use mainly resin and it can be £30-50 for a bottle of resin and it does last. hopefully that helps a bit
  16. Yep headline sellers, more press like this and I can see a new government going full Australia.
  17. The government could also try retaining all the people they have trained over the past few years rather. With underfunding and a lack of equipment those trained professionals who did volunteer can’t be arsed to be frank. I think public engagement with the forces is important as well, service people I think have always felt under appreciated by the public apart from the occasional headline.
  18. I’ve got to ask myself would I want my kids to experience and see the same things I did in the military and conclusively the answer has to be no. Will this appeal the Tory voters of course it will and I doubt will find new voters for them. I’m conflicted by this proposal as I’m in favour of young people having responsibility and seeing actions have consequences. But I’m also against coercion into joining the military, it has to be a voluntary thing. I think we should let the young decide their future as we won’t be around to see it again though are we equipping them with the right tools to make informed decisions. I mean this as a society not at an individual level.
  19. I agree, the army is moving in much the same direction. When the old guard who remember that old school attitude have gone the we will have to see what direction the forces go in.
  20. I believe from what I have read it will be much like the reserve model where you do a weekend a month. Question is then would you be remunerated for your time as well? I do agree that this does smell of gaining votes rather than doing anything that might benefit society.
  21. Hello and welcome, plenty of knowledge and support here
  22. I’m sure we have all read or seen the news this morning about the proposal to reintroduce national service. Just wanted to get the collection thoughts on this as an idea? Whilst politics are obviously divisive at the moment and I want to avoid that, I personally think it’s a great idea. Whilst it could be seen as nationalistic I do think introducing young people to serving a greater cause that is society can’t be a bad thing.
