Welcome to the money pit that is airsoft. I swear a crack habit would be cheaper. I can't really recommend any sites as you're a bit far away from me, but as others have posted, don't be afraid to rock up on your lonesome as the majority of airsofters are a friendly bunch and will be happy to show off their kit. Also I recommend renting for your first few games as it'll help you work out what suits your style of play. You don't want to shell out a large sum if money on a gun or other gear only to find out you don't get on with it (eg I prefer SMGs and carbines over full size rifles)

In my experience there's 1 reason people usually get pissy. They're getting offended on behalf of others (who often don't give a shit). Unless you're walting these people are best ignored or told to where to go This. It's worth noting that if you buy something that's nicked and the seller gets caught, you could easily loose the thing you bought and the money paid for it

Think so. They're the modern issue ones but they look the same as the ones I had years ago

A nice shinny pair of German para boots, tgey were listed as supergrade but they look new and unused. Now I just need to break them in

What gets me about these simulated muzzle flash things is that they look more like someone pissing about with a cheap torch, rather than an actual muzzle flash

I remember playing at a site where they had you sign the same form as the paintballers. I knew this because they hadn't even bothered to change the word paintball to airsoft

I've never understood the must win at all costs mentality. Sure its a nice feeling when you do manage to get all objectives, but to me it's a bonus. Also some of the most enjoyable games I've had have been when I've been on the receiving end of an arse kicking

I hope the players and Marshalls wanting to get physical were suitably dealt with. There's no excuse for threatening physical violence on site

I was being polite calling it silly, let me rephrase it to what I really meant. It's a fucking dumb question If you're going to get that upset over a word like silly then I suggest you stay off the Internet till you're old enough to not throw a tantrum over a small word

That's a good point about insurance. As much as folk like to call site owners either lazy or stupid for having these rules, for all we know they could have their hands tied by the insurance company
