  1. KJ Works KC02 given the Rogueworx treatment. Currently set up as a single action sniper but can be a semi auto DMR inside of 2 mins with a bolt swap Join the KC02 discord, join us https://discord.gg/kqrxqvTC Hail Saustrich
  2. So, slightly delayed by work and life. I picked up something that has made my KC02 either a semi auto DMR at 1.8J or a single action sniper at 2.32J. Its called the Rogueworx SSB, and as you can see from the pictures, it differs significantly from the standard reciprocating bolt by being one solid piece. The loading nozzle is integrated into the bolt and there are no moving parts. The output power of the SSB is adjusted by a grub screw that obstructs the hole on the front of the nozzle (Apparently, fully open with a decent length barrel and C02 it’ll give about 5J). Once adjusted, I’m dialled in to be comfortably under my site limit WITH 0.43’s. I didn’t realise quite how much this joule creeps until I stopped being a cheapskate and stopped chronoing with 0.28/0.36’s and started using my actual ammo. Consistency is +-1fps with my HPA rig. Changing the bolts takes all of 2 minutes; all you need to do is remove the action from your chosen stock, separate the trigger box from the upper, pull back the charging handle and remove the bolt. Did I mention it’s basically silent? The action of the Rogueworx Judgement hammer is significantly quieter than the incumbent stealth king MK23. Racking the charging handle is as loud as you want to make it 65364613653__B422F32D-694F-4D62-8515-871DDC9DCE93.MOV The RW Genesis hop kit replaced the KC02’s proprietary hop system with a VSR style chamber using a TDC hop and three differently shaped hop keys to best apply tension to your choice of bucking. I’m using a concave key that gives amazing results with my trusty ML Autobot 60* I hadn’t realised how adaptable the KC02 platform was when I first stepped in but thanks to (actual Rolls Royce Engineer) Arron Stafford’s friggin brilliant work and anally retentive attention to detail, the RW parts are a step up from anything else I’ve purchased in Airsoft in terms of design or realisation. Hail Saustrich The next gun RW will be transforming is the GHK G5. It’s going to end up with a TDC hop, steel fire control group, lightweight alu bolt… You won’t want to miss out. 3. Just in case anyone wondered what had happened to me. I’m not dead. I was enticed over to the KJ Owners discord where Arron of Rogueworx resides. Ive picked up some more pretty awesome bits for this particular gun. Should be able to get some photos later. Rogueworx are having a big restock in late Oct/early Nov for anyone interested in building a tricked out KC02 https://www.rogueworx.com Hail Saustrich
  4. I’m clearly not in the right groups! I hope they actually dispatch HCH’s allocation this week. Got a crap week work-wise and it’s always amazing to have something just on the horizon like a shiny slide-shaped carrot on a stick
  5. It’s going to be a fun few weeks. With the Battlecat finally happening, Tanuki Works having the V4 of their KC02 adaptor incoming, Getting Ruger trades cut into my KC02 and getting a GHK G5 internal HPA/AEG mag converter there should be plenty to keep me occupied. Ill have some photos of new toys that are basically porn soon Do need to buy some EPM-1’s for the G5 though. Where did you find the short ones @Steveocee
  6. Ive seen one but was asked not to share… Is there more, is something finally happening?
  7. You’re going to be a slow-moving, easy target lugging what I think this is around. Can’t wait to see it!
  8. Latest project. GHK G5 with a workshop special HPA drum. Creeps like a mofo with heavy ammo so I’ve done the adjustable nozzle mod, now it’s slinging 0.36’s at 250fps edit so it makes sense to @Rogerborg0.36’s at 1.1J
  9. Kyle was brave enough to say “maybe mid August”. I think they’re shipping any day now Come on UPS, be kind to my man Kyle
  10. I just heard something epic ….Battle … cats …..are ……..finally… …ready
  11. eBay seller is called “gunpointgear” but the only option for 0.36 is 2x3000! eBay, seller was called gunpointgear. Only option for 0.36 was 2x3000!
  12. My mate emptied a hicap of 0.28’s into my (clearly labelled) bag of 0.36’s, so I’ve had to buy 6000 0.36’s from the only seller I could see still had any stock of Geoff’s!
  13. Beautiful collection, but I’m going to have to be the one to point out the back to front Eotech
  14. @Steveocee Just got totally clickbaited into your new video, you bloody tease.
  15. Blimey, what a week. got kit ready for tomorrow. Couldn’t decided what to take so both my higher end Capas are in the stack of kit heading to Finmere tomorrow. Ive grown very fond of the “surprised Pikachu” face on people when a guy pops out from behind a tree and tags them from comfortably out of range of their AEGs with a pistol. Makes me feel warm and tingly inside The Limcat especially seems to send Geoff’s 0.36’s a long way in a straight line. Im taking a cousin of my Wife to Zed next sat hopefully. He’s been watching licking cumstain and Novristch videos, I figure he’s in for a shock. Steve, Kyle is the bad influence. Every time I buy something I think is pretty swish, he sends me a picture of something rare, discontinued or so nicely done that it puts me to shame! I couldn’t believe that even his grip safeties on the Silver and Gold Battlecat he did were AM, that thing must have cost a small fortune! Like you, as soon as AM have 4.3 STI frames. The Battlecat 4.3 is having one. With the Mi3D outerbarrel and the primary adaptor having a lightweight Guarder body, it’ll be a seriously lightweight build that’s going to be my dedicated indoor pew. You’ve made me have an epiphany regarding BB weight indoors, why am I shelling out on .28 Tracers when the max distance for a shot is going to be under 20m and without wind? As you’ve suggested, the reduction in time to target might even just give us the edge in the split-second nature of CQB Very annoying to see AM’s Facebook update the other day was a valve tool and not the effing 4.3 slides.
  16. Picked up this cheeky little thing earlier this week. Stuck a 180mm crazyjet in there and now it’s running at site limits with my regulator set to 105psi. The noise this thing makes In full auto is insane and I’m pretty sure the kick from the blowback could work fillings out! Bodged the obligatory drum mag so it’s useable while I’ve only got one mag EDIT - Because ambiguous post is ambiguous, it’s a GHK G5
  17. If you change out the BBU at the same time for something lightweight, the increase in mass of the side will be offset by the decrease in the BBU Limcat c.70g TM c.40g CCT BBU c.18g TM BBU c.43b I’d be tempted to get a AIP 120% set in there at the same time. Steve - been typing out a reply to you at work. Once I’ve done a few deliveries and service jobs, I fully intend on finishing that! Also, Kyle keeps telling me he’s sure that 4.3 parts will be coming from Airsoft Masterpiece once they drop the Battlecat slides
  18. (I haven’t dirtied my hands with an AEG in a game for almost 3 months) LOVE IT I ran the Infinity all night. Hop was set for 0.36’s but I was using 0.28 tracers. Once the Battlecat slide is in, I think that’ll be my dedicated indoor pew How did your game on Thursday go? Saw your video where you and Kyle got shot in the back, that guy was super speedy!
  19. Having picked up the donor gun secondhand for this build, I assumed the super-heavy trigger pull and fairly high amount of force required to set the hammer was normal for a KC-02. I was wrong The previous owner had installed the MAG 150% steel hammer set & spring. Chatting to Arron at Rogueworx, not only is the 150% spring unnecessary, the parts are arguably worse than the stock ones. On recommendation, I’ve bought his hammer set and he’s donated me a standard hammer spring. The difference in spring strength is insane, the bolt has almost no resistance in setting the hammer now. The sear is insanely sensitive now, I had to remove a fraction of material from my disconnector hook (three or four strokes with a file) and now the trigger is light as a feather. Unfortunately, he’d sold out of his adjustable trigger so it’s still the stock one. Once he’s made more, that’s definitely on the list so I can adjust the travel of the trigger to take the slop out after it breaks. Here’s a quick peek at the new parts in and my lovely pointy finger applying almost no pressure. (I’m almost certainly going to accidentally shoot myself with this) EDIT - Does the softer hammer spring affect output velocity? Doesn’t seem too, still got a zip tie through my reg and still a gnats fart under 1.88J with 0.43’s. The only observable difference in output is that consistency has improved with my biggest deviation over 100rds this morning being about 7fps IMG_9244.MP4
  20. Had an awesome evening at ZedMart last night. Forgot to bring a change of clothes for my top half so ran around in a hoodie I found in the van until I nearly dieded of heat exhaustion. Ended up playing in what I dub “Office Tactical” for a bit… Realised I had a souvenir from the game this morning!
  21. May as well update this in case someone wants to build one. Bored of waiting for a TanukiWorks HPA adaptor restock and unwilling to pay for extra magazines I got creative. Turns out the width of the standard KC02 mags and the collar of the top of the G&G M4 drums is almost identical. With not much more than fitting the Bowden spring into the KC02 mag and epoxying the mag into the drum - the KC02 HPA drum mag was born! I ran a test of a few hundred rounds and it feeds perfectly and is as consistent as one would expect with HPA. I was worried about the sheer weight of the thing in the mag well but it seems to be a non-issue
  22. Ran 400 or so 0.28’s through it this morning. Dialled in the regulator but then found it’s creeping a bit when I go up to 0.43’s so ended up having to set the regulator again… I’m very happy that it feeds the 0.43’s fine and I’m getting a consistent 299-305fps @95ish psi. Only slight issue is it looks a little daft but with 2500rd capacity, zero feeding issues and a consistent output I can live with that! Im going to tidy up the JB Weld once it’s completely cured and then probably go over it with some black paint.
  23. Ive got some 130rd mid caps for when I can get a Tanuki Works HPA adaptor, until then, changing the mag and line was too much of a pain in the middle of a game to put up with. I’ll need to see if the mechanism in the drum is capable of pushing up 0.43’s or it’s a bit of a pointless endeavour
  24. Not exactly as polished as what’s being shown off in this thread but… Got really frustrated reloading my new HPA DMR build so necessity being the mother of innovation, this happened
  25. On a slightly less Battle-catty note… how often do you play at that Hells Pass site? I’ve been watching a few of your videos and I think I’ve convinced myself that I should drive up to Derby to have a go at shooting you! Are you heading down to Newbury for the forum member game at Negative Airsoft’s Zed site?
