Not sure about you, but I had to massively up my pistol game to be able to run the semi-auto or bolt-action play style and not get caught out when people get inside of my minimum engagement. I got a little round of “nicely done” from some dead enemy players couple of weekends ago when I took out the last AEG player who was dug into some cover with my KC tucked under my right arm, firing the pistol with my left. More luck than anything, but I landed one on his baseball cap before he could get a bead on me. Big grin behind my mask!

I had a laugh at the evolution of my play style over the last 2 years - from 40rps DSG wankery to almost exclusively semi-auto with a hint of bolt action

The looming deadline for the Rogueworx underlever kit has made me do something financially irresponsible. Underlever kit now on order, The Muzzelite stock is for now in my spares box and this Hogue Overmold has arrived ready for my underlever I’m going to be keeping an eye on the classifieds for the next boneyard KC02 so I’ve got a receiver and trigger box to stick in the Muzzelite. It’s too unique and too ugly to not take to the field. Got a mate working on a solution to make the trigger less, well, bullpuppy too

Summary, the 2mm vials aren’t worth the effort. I’ve got some yellow FO rods on the way to match the slide. Glowing sights would have been cool, but it wasn’t to be. Shame as you can get them in Purple, blue, green, red etc to match your slide

It’s got a sibling now thanks to @Cromulon1994 The Muzzelite is bang on 1.8j@100psi and semi auto locked, the Boyd has the Bolt action bolt in and is tuned to 2.32j@100psi Had to get creative with the Muzzelite, it’s a real stock for a normal 10/22, and the trigger reset distance is quite different. I took a couple of mm of material off the front of the trigger to give it a smidge more travel and now the sear can reset each time. Looking forwards to hearing the whispers in the queue for chrono trying to figure out what this is! Edit - thanks autocorrect

Bah, I bought ones that were WAY too short. Found a retailer that sells Tritium Vials for fishing, thought gold sights would look pretty cool on the gold capa. So far, fairly unimpressed, ignoring the length issue the 2mm dia vials are very dark

Gonna have to take care of that tomorrow. May also have something special on the way that I hop will fit in the AIP sights

Just got back home and now all I can see if the fact my rear sight is squewiff

Honestly, I hate drum mags. There’s an HPA adaptor for the KC02 called a Tanuki that I’ve been trying to get hold of for months, the V4 will hopefully be out soon and it’ll let me use my MP5 midcaps with this build

The harshest criticism can be the most useful! After it was pointed out that my gun and my drum mag were not technically in the same postcode I decided to go all McGuyver. Some hack sawing and sealing later and it doesn’t swing around like a 2500rd pendulum under my gun anymore

This stuff is magic. It was recommended by one of the guys on here, Alex Hill? I need to clean off the excess and brighten the slide back up but it’s nearly done

I had a moment exactly like Steve’s. Was turning up to games with Hi-Capa, Makarov, Sig and P99 mags depending on what holsters were on what rigging. Now it’s down to a nice clean trio of Capas My 4.3 is currently still running the stock slide but with an AM BBU its lightning fast. When the Battlecat finally arrives, in a funny way it’ll be a downgrade I was wrong about the other 4.3 STi slide I’m afraid. I had an image of it pre-anodising and the engraving was much more visible and the rebates less so. Still think it looks sexier in silver tho

Kyle told me about another pretty sweet 4.3 slide that’s on the way. I’ve got a photo and the knowledge that HCH have ten on the way. It’s STi like the Costa VIP but much prettier imho Alternatively, HCH’s stock of Battlecat 4.3 are actually in the UK now (As soon as customs clear Kyles parcel)

The KJ Works base gun will fit in basically any real Ruger 10/22 stock with gentle persuasion so there’s loads you can do with them cosmetically. It would make the perfect accoutrement to your MTW. Join us example- this guy has basically completed KC02ing One of the most awesome and unique KC’s was fielded at the NAF a few weeks ago. It’s a lever action, bolt action limit, hogue-stocked and custom electronic’d masterpiece wielded by an OG Saustrich. Hell, it even had its own promo video
