Thought it was probably worth a shout out to the guys running Red Alert Newbury. Down there last Sunday and had an absolute blast. Great marshalling team who were not only actively keeping an eye on things but plenty in number. Chrono guys actually understand joules and are strict when it comes to questionable or borderline pews. Didn’t have any issues with cheaters, didn’t get hosed and I had another awesome day of play. I wilted as the day went on and called it quits at about 4 - it was just too hot! almost forgot, Chili con carne for lunch was delicious! Top marks

I cheated on this picture. It’s a Cyma 130rd MP5 mag but it’s just stuck in the magwell… Normally there’s a little HPA adaptor between the two called a Tanuki. You can see it here with a different one of my KC02’s and different MP5 mag just peeking out under the stock edit: found a better picture of what a Tanuki is

@Impulse and @Terrywristt a good friend of mine is going to be recasting some Ruger grip medallions if you want to go the whole hog doing the MK4 Competition look. He’s doing some custom wooden grips for mine at the moment and then Jack at Airsoft Engraver will be copying the proper trades Since getting Covid, I have t managed to get in to work to have a look at how mine looks at the moment, just had the upper and trigger cerakoted in graphite black

The Ruger medallions and some wooden grips are going to a mate this week to be done to a standard I can’t achieve myself. In the meantime, I’m going to stick some Infinity medallions in there and see if anyone gets triggered.

Also, can’t remember if I actually shared a proper picture of the finished Battlecat with adv frame. The matched KC02 is a full auto 1.1J build and equally gaudy

In my head “fully upgraded” is synonymous with boneyard. Im just bored and stuck at the in-laws, retail therapy is my coping mechanism

Here’s something that’s a bit of a work in progress. Got a ring pull style selector on the way that’s more in-keeping with what people seem to use on the actual MK4. A friend is printing a much lower profile mount for the Viper that’ll take it much closer to bore. Since concept, the goal has gone from MK4 Lite to MK4 target, so when I get all the upper elements Cerakoted to match; I’ll get some accurate trades lasered back on. The Ruger medallions will end up set in some wooden grips for a less “tactical” and more “old school plinkster” look Next headache is getting it site legal. There’s a 180mm barrel in there that’s currently delivering 1.5j in full auto… Going to try either restricting the nozzle or shimming the rocket valve to bring that down to 1.1 on temp appropriate propellant or HPA at 95psi

I’ve ended up leaning in to my AAP build pretty hard. Hit go on: Airtac Glock>MP5 adaptor Vortex/docter fit RDS mount CCT hammer set, Knocker lock and sear CCT nozzle set DP hammer spring TM long mag (for when not using it on HPA) CTM wooden grips (to restain and recess some real Ruger grip medallions into) TTi ring pull style fire selector At this point, it’s just the trigger bar, inner frame and hop unit that’s actually from Action Army

Skara has already seen it but my AAP is taking shape. Need to get the upper Cerakoted in graphite black to get rid of the 50 shades thing it’s got going on

He carries the Airsoft Masterpiece range, which are the go-tos if you want to do it once, properly 120% hammer and recoil and spring set and barrel spacer should be all you need. Personally, I’d change the bbu at the same time as the TM part is incredibly heavy

Its a vinyl wrap because the Chingrish on the tracer just let the whole thing down. The O lights are incredible. I’m amazed by the difference in brightness between the PL2 and the generic/nuprol lights I see people play with

Not a candle to the length you’ve gone to on that Glock but my GSB4.3 frame arrived. Total weight of the build with mag/tracer and torch is less than a stock TM 4.3 without a mag 803g vs 825g for an unloaded, naked TM

HiCapaHub just sourced me something I consider to be a grail item - 4.3” advance frame! Kyle knocks it out of the park again

Slapped a Ruger Target stock onto my Rogueworx Underlever KC02, aside a Rogueworx trigger it’s pretty much complete The Trijicon VCog knock off is surprisingly nice too! Beautiful glass that’s on par with my Vortex Crossfire LPVO

The splash pattern is anodised, I got it done to match a KC02 It’s a pattern that Rogueworx call Nightwind. I’ve got another Capa/KC combo in a splatter pattern called High Roller but I’d been holding off on sharing it much until my 4.3 Adv frame arrives The 4.3 frame, rare as they are, has been sourced for me by Kyle as he’s a total legend and may even be inbound. Wooden Capa grips are from a brand called Pandora Arms. They’re very thin covers that just adhere to the standard TM grip. They’re really beautiful but time will tell if they’re up to taking a hit!
