    a quick release spring gearbox only lets you change the spring? the barrel will still need to be removed via the hop up chamber? and my ares has a quick change spring system but you have to find out if it will fit in your shell or not?

    UK SITE! as well your team honestly looks really bad, like 2 guys actually look like they know what they are doing, try get on a US airsoft forum and buy some new stuff? EDIT: i get ^^^^ has gone down badly with a few people, its not really worded how i want it, i didnt mean to offend them i was trying to say, they should get some new gear and that may help them get some more support, look at the green mountain rangers in the USA they are known for being assholes yes but they are also known for using the same gear and using it well, its how they do well at events. The team above should try and get some matching gear and it might help them with support as well as doing well on gamedays?

      since about 2 years ago, the ACOG was purchased as a UOR for Afghanistan only, much like the Sig P226 it was just an interim measure.

      Yeah we've had them for a while. Why do the guards cover the handguard and the optic?

      guards are still using SUSAT on their rifles, there's no cover made for the Spectre yet. Handguards get covers because they look untidy without.

    so its 1 am and i decide to take appart my ares gearbox and put it back together for the second time, i am so proud of myself XD

      Once you start taking it apart more, it will get boring as you have to unscrew many MANY things to take it apart.

Even the US spends a smaller percentage on defence than they do on "social protection" or welfare as it's also known.

      okay it deletes anything bigger than a certain character count... okay that's annoying but all i want to say is if we sort out the country we will have more money in the country and i am not saying we should just spend this purely on defense i agree that we need more money for the NHS and schools, but it is a bit disheartening when the government cut the defense budget again and again, especially as i am going for a military career but that makes me a bit biased i guess.

      I figured your position was driven by being military in some way. No bad thing that, but maybe try asking a nurse or a teacher or a pensioner where the money should go ;) It's a tricky balancing act and all too easy to only see one part of the equation.

    okay thanks guys, and jcheese thanks! but i really want a headset and a microphone that i can press the button and talk? and the radio looks really complicated so is there any chance of a more simple radio that works well with a headset?

      'i'll die and my mrs will be widowed'. There's a chance you can die in any job, yes it's slightly increased in the army, but your still highly likely to be fine. You make it sound like it's guaranteed.

    you cant buy the gun from him at all with money or gifts or anything that is illegal, as said above If he gives you the gun out of the goodness of his heart as a gift and thats it and just he is giving it away then thats legal. Using the gun is fine at a site or not, owning one isnt the problem either its the buying of it, so if he gives you the gun as a gift there is no reason why you cant keep it and use it!

    the tm recoils are defiantly worth the money you just have to remember that they dont take normal mags they only take specific tm recoil mags as these stop the gun firing after the last shot has been fired like gbb or the real thing but the performance is amazing defiantly worth it!

    The gas block is something that brings the bolt back on a real gun but on airsoft guns it is just for looks really, if you are extending the barrel you wont have to worry about it but considering i dont have one of these guns there could be something extra but all i CAN definitely tell you is that a gas block has no purpose on an airsoft gun.
