So basically go for a 7.4 lipo and it'll work just as well as my NIMH ? Haha

Then it starts a forest fire and you get sued for damages to the site 🤣

Yeah, just say you brought some of that "American freedom" to the field? 😂

Personally I wouldn't use an 11.1v in a standard gun. If anything fails under the extra strain it will be spectacular. (and expensive)
7.4v will do for standard AEGs

Leonine got a reaction from Rogerborg in Nuprol Power Compact Intelligent Charger Help!
I have had 3 Nuprol chargers and all have failed me with errors and short fussing etc. I would get a different brand. In my opinon Nuprol chargers are the worst I have ever used.

In all seriousness we basically open the floor to letting new Supporters in now and again but it's a decision made by all existing supporters. Generally if you post frequently and with entertaining or informative content you'll find yourself becoming a Supporter after not too long.
A target number of Supporters is 2% of our total regular membership (i.e. people who have visited in the last year). If you've not visited the forums for a year as a Supporter you're not counted in this number. Basically it caps us at a certain number of highly active members so it's a genuine recognition of those who make the forums worth visiting. In many ways they are the reason why our forums have done so well since their inception.
There are a couple more requirements too but these are a bit of a secret.
It used to be that you could buy your way in, but not any more.

Leonine reacted to adamwood in Looking for Constructive Feedback on My Airsoft Ammo
Hi Guys,
Myself and my good friend from over the pond have been working on some good quality affordable ammo for a long time now and I'm looking for people that attend airsoft events on a regular basis to test my .30g bb's.
Obviously the bb's will be free and all I request in return is some constructive feedback. I have used this ammo for a longtime now and I am very happy with the quality and the performance. I have never had any issues with the bb's breaking inside my gun or causing any damage and rest assured I have some expensive guns.
If you would like to participate please send me a message and I will arrange to have some bb's posted to you.
Thanks in advance!
Adam

But the magic touch makes it new again like most of the guns listed on his profile 😜

He very clearly is, even if not associated with a retailer.
This is my favourite:
A second hand WE subcompact and some extra mags for £190 plus postage...bargain!

Think of it like dropping into Normandy in Band of Brothers, just link up with others and take it from there. Or hang out cosplaying shrubbery, both are totally good options.

Leonine reacted to leadly in Who Goes to Games by Themselves?
Hello all.
I was supposed to be at Matlock Combat Games this past Saturday but unfortunately my 4 month old ended up in hospital Wednesday night and didn't get out until Saturday morning!
He's all fine and dandy now but I missed out on going to my first skirmish with a few of my mates.
I'm able to make it this Saturday (hangover pending) and thought as I'm pretending to be a sniper I'll be by myself for the most part anyway (remember I've never played before) so why not just rock up solo.
So, after that long winded first chapter, who else turns up solo?
I'm not nervous about going by myself, I like to force myself into new situations, I just know it'd be a bit more enjoyable with my mates but we all works shifts and sorting something is always a ball ache and I just want to shoot bits of plastic at people from a far!!

pyramex dual pane are the best for the money. pair them with some revision antifog wipes and you have as good as you get for that money.
I've never fogged my i5 and it protects my ears, lower face and eyes and only uses 1 strap.

Leonine reacted to ScottyLad in What Airsoft Glasses/Goggles do You Recommend?
I use the Valken V-Tac Tango Goggles (with thermal lens they come to just over £30), did have some fogging issues but made a vent by removing some of the top and bottom "foam" and haven't had issues since - they are quite bulky, but they are goggles so have a nice full seal
