I've been thinking of picking up an EVO Scorpion as of late especially after Patrolbase did them for £239 over the Black Friday weekend (although I believe they were the 2018 ones).... Anyway, that beside the point, this advert popped up on here and Z1. It's a 2020 model with upgrades. I mean what possible upgrades could have been done to a Scorpion which would cost £350 plus? I know with a TM you can gut it completely and prommy it to death or do whatever you want to one (I have the T-Shirt) but with a EVO? I most curious....

Original Marui nozzles are like rocking horse poop! The only place you will find them are in HK or Japan. It took me a while to find mine and then they went out of stock quickly.

I had a jamming issue on mine a while ago as you all know... I used Nuprol RZR bbs and the bbs jammed somehow and ripped the rubber and buggered up the nozzle. I solved the problem by getting a new nozzle and new hop rubber (TM) and Geoffs BB's. It's not jammed since... Moral is don't use shite quality BBs. Oh and don't pull the charging handle back a few times either coz you chamber a round each time!

Marius primary market is Japan ergo the demand for products is determined by what the local airsoft community wants. The desire to be ‘like’ US special forces or US anything as a matter of fact determines Marui’s product line predominantly. The AK MWS was an interesting release though one which I think many of us did not see coming. The fact that we have not seen anything more of it believes me to think it’s not been popular. It’s likely that a 416 variant will be on the cards as that makes economic sense as no doubt it will sell in numbers. However the current economic climate may just scupper any plans. Also the supply of anything Marui is becoming scarce to say the least. I’m not sure how long that will last though.... Do we have any Japanese speaking members here? If so ask them to get onto some Japanese forums and see what the lay of the land is like. That will possibly give some insight into what to expect here in the West

Any folks using the Madbull XG02 propane adapter? It's the one which has the silicon oil reservoir in it..? I was thinking of using the Coleman propane gas bottles or Mapp gas bottles for my mags going forward... Any pros or cons of either or should we just stick to the off the shelf gases from Abbey & Nuprol etc.. thx

One of the marshals at my site has one and he let me have a wee go and fire off some bbs. The recoil on it was pretty good, certainly stronger than my next gen recoil, but and here is where the big but is.... the sound of the gearbox just sounded too 'scratchy'. Maybe it's a proprietary GBLS sound? It just didn't feel that special to me... The range seemed on par with my recoil though.... but then again mine ain't really a TM anymore

Crikey that’s a lot of money to spend to change ones mind a few days later. Nice bit of kit though. Strange thing Is there have been quite a few of these come up as of late.

G&P tend to run a tad hot. Well my stock G&P carrier bolt group did. That’s why I got the G&P adjustable valve to tame it down. I’ll get round to doing it once I muster up the enthusiasm and report back.

Just come across this geezer with an AAP-01 and a drum mag... I'm kinda speechless in a good way! It's like a mini support weapon. Not sure what the range and grouping would be like though? Any insights anyone?

Got these two bits from Redwolf in HK. A spare Marui nozzle (rare as rocking horse poop) and a G&P valve. I’ll stick that into the G&P bolt to see if I can tame it’s it was running way too hot for my liking. Postage took 4 week using airmail so didn’t mind the wait. Cheap as chips too using that option. Happy days.

Geardos ?? sounds like an almost extinct species. ??. Oh $hit I wear MTP in woodland. But luckily it accidentally got washed with a green shemagh so now looks almost woodland DPM now.
