Out of curiosity, As an airsoft replica is a gas Vector fun to use? I’ve actually never seen anyone use one ever! And if they have been discontinued what about after market parts etc... time to YouTube this and see what that fuss is all about
-
The nature of this sale it seems stems around the fact it was a perceived bargain. We all want a bargain let’s face it... The rarity of the item adds to it. For some it’s a grail piece for others it’s a weird looking GBBR and would never bat an eye lid at it. Regardless of what it is the buyer should always do due diligence and ask questions. Assume nothing!

You ain’t half right there about TM Dave. It’s by far one of the best manufactures of airsoft rifles hands down. They just work regardless of the platform. I run both NGRS guns and my MWS. Both have advantages and disadvantages. Both are fun to use. Both cost a bloody fortune if you so desire to go in that direction.

It will be Interesting to see how PayPal handles this case. Either it’s a full refund excluding postage and believe me that can be difficult to get back or both parties may agree to a mutual understanding. Nevertheless this episode should be a reminder to everyone to ask all the fundamental questions when buying used gear. Sadly the current COVID situation does not help matters as you can’t try before you buy anymore.

Welcome @SeanW!. You will definitely find this wee small thread a great source of all things MWS. There is a lot of knowledge and experience here that's for sure....! Dave's brass nub is a must and I also suggest the high speed buffer upgrade too. The only other back-up item you need is a nozzle spring (the original Marui will fail at some point but you will need to hammer it good and proper probably with a couple of years usage lol )... (see Badabing's YouTube reviews of the MWS). Eagle6 sell their version which will be fine as an alternative.. The Marui part is rare as rocking horse poop though as are all things Marui...

May I ask, do you see flaring on the Eotech reticle, kinda like spiky flames? @Davegolfif I dropped mine 2m let alone 1m, I'd definitely cry... ?

Every build is an inspiration.....! I know I'd like to see what you've done...

@RMDavis Lookimg dandy there fella. I concur with both yourself and Dave re the condition of the EO and weathering the rest of the rifle to match. This is coming along very nice. Now the topic of screen protectors. This is where I differ. Keep it on buddy as you just never know. It’s not worth the risk however small it may be. No one else will notice it. I have one on mine plus I have a riser in front so double protection.

I think I’ll leave the the stroking to my cat (no pun intended lol). The pistol seems good enough as is. As I have a H key and a flamingo pink rubber I’ll Chuck those in. I guess there is no point swapping out the inner barrel with a stainless steel tight bore right? Unless there is a crazy jet one??
-
What advantage does that short stroking gizmo achieve?
-
Give it some welly lad ? Thing is it’s good it’s on tight. The last thing one wants is a loose one. One needs ones buffer tube to be well tight in there. Right.? ?
-
I need some what? ? Do it... it makes sense. I thought it didn’t. But this thing is just bonkers.
-
Well I’ve only just gone and done it... My caramel plastic fantastic. Mucho grazie to @Spartan09 That auto really is insane. You need to see it for real to believe how bonkers it is in a pistol ?
-
It’s probably super loctited. Just apply a heat to it to melt/loosen the loctite. Obviously be careful when doing it. That sopmod wrench is really all you need and some Popeye spinach. Failing that a pack of McCoys crisps and Yorkie Bar and that will do the trick. Maybe a pint of Guinness too? Hmmmm

The 'What have you just bought' Thread

Dave makes a good point here. If you need something just drop them an email and you’ll probably be put on a waiting list. There are other retailers of course who stock MWS parts. Google and you shall find them.
-
Things will improve as time goes on. They stock as and when and a lot of MWS stuff flies out quick. Especially nozzles and nozzle springs. 6 months from now it may all be getting back to a normal. It’s simply a waiting game. Laylax M4 Sopmod wrench. Fire Support sell them.

As much as I'd like to grow a beard and think I'm a smooth operator (Seal Team 6) in a theatre of war, I'm happy with my Viper kit.. lol

-
Aye good shout. I have a spare Marui nozzle and a couple of G&P and one very angry gun one too lol
-
Would be nice if we did reside there lol. What did you order out of curiosity?
-
-
Oh I know that 'FFS' moment all too well

Fitted the Magpul trigger guard. Just a little bit of filing was needed. Word of advice use the original Marui trigger guard pin as the Magpul one looks a little thicker. Don’t risk cracking the trigger guard pin lugs ok.

@Skara-8C? Sweet Mary! Don't think much will work at that temperature..... mind you people seem to play ok in colder places than that so it would be interesting to see how things transpire... How come you're not using black gas?
