  1. I remember S.A.S back in them days...they were all the hype back then..... everyone wanted to try one of their training days and learn a thing or two about real scenarios and tactical operations...
  2. Get a PTS QD mount. They are designed to hold 300lbs of force, And guess what so are the Magpul ones. Are they made in the same place? Who can say? Plus you can use the PTS QD swivels too... I think it's the GBB version but phone up and ask!! https://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/pts-enhanced-modular-sling-plate-gen-2-gbb Edit: https://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/pts-enhanced-qd-modular-sling-plate-gbb Swivels: https://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/pts-1-qd-sling-swivel
  3. Magpul to Magpul and Magpul to HAO. HAs to be Milspec though otherwise forget it.. PTS fits fine too....
  4. Bought a couple of these Magpul QDMs. Thought I’d give them a try. They are flashy and look good and that’s about it. Stick with the normal Magpul QD’s.
  5. Ahhhh I see what you mean now. Gotcha. My gas knowledge is limited to Abbey Green, Abbey Ultra Predator (Red can but still classed as Green) and Nuprol black which I dare not try in this pistol.
  6. I have a daft question to ask here.... how do you know what PSI you're getting? Unless you're HPA'ing (is that even a word?) the pistol I hazard to guess?
  7. That's the cheapest I've seen them for a long time.... could be coz the £ is getting stronger again and we should see items get a tad cheaper.... Also I heard from one retailer that they will be getting a large shipment of Marui RIFs in the next 2-3 weeks. This implies all UK retailers will get a restock of these Marui items as they all seem to get imported into the UK at the same time.
  8. Cheers guys... that helps... thanks
  9. Chaps that black mamba kit specifies a type A and type B kit? What’s the distinction between the two? ta
  10. @RMDavishave you been playing in the mud again?😂
  11. Oh I do like that slide and the barrel. I need that in FDE 😂
  12. I confess non of my recoils are standard coz well they are recoils and they are designed to be upgraded let's face it..... Conversely, I've never touched a GBB pistol when it comes to trigger internals and the same with the MWS trigger set as it's just something I don't feel a need to do as it's not a primary... I must admit I am though curious so I expect I'll end up fiddling with the AAP at some point.... (other than a hop, barrel and H/I key).. @PimanI do like that trigger though.. I wonder what will look good on a FDE AAP?
  13. That's all impressive, I'd have got my Dremel cutting bit out and probably would have cocked it up lol. That reminds me I need a vice and some new metal files..... anyway, back to my point.... why is there a need to replace the original trigger parts with these 3rd party parts? Durability? Quality? Lockdown boredom?
  14. If I go prone I ain’t getting up again 😂
  15. I’m using a 50deg pink flamingo in my MK23 and it seems pretty decent. Although I’ve not managed to range test it properly beyond 40m as of yet.
  16. @PimanCrikey that’s a lot of upgrades. In fact that’s a damn good pic as it’s easier to see what can be changed and which brands to use. Looking forward to the build and the video review
  17. The Warrior DCS is a lovely PC. Yes it’s got fake plates but you can take them out so lighten the load. Yes it’s pricey at £130 for just the basic carrier This is why I say for a starter Pc Viper VX is perfect. It’s light. You don’t overheat. And you can pick a new one up for £75 or used ones on here for about £45 as they come up frequently. Mind you the one on Amazon is stonking good value. Buy it. Try it out. If it’s pants then return it. At least you have that luxury. Almost a try before you buy
  18. Dude, get whatever you want. If you want a plate carrier get one, try it out. If you don’t like it sell it on. I have various rigs ranging from PC’s to chest rigs. I prefer the PC in the morning as it’s usually cold and in the affernoon I switch to a chest rig as that’s when we play the speed games As a starter chest rig look at the Viper VX it’s good value, decent and light. You can add bits to it as and when you feel like it. The more you play then you will realise that running light is good. That’s why you’ll see people wearing belt rigs.
  19. Ohhh Ohhh how exciting (is this wrong to feel that?)... I will expect a solid review squire...nothing short of 350bb's worth
  20. So, I was just browsing for "airsoft skins" and found this chap that does Camo Wraps for the AAP-01 (plus a few others). He's based in France though so not sure what the postage cost would be. He sells both the pre-cut templates below and also A4 sheets of the wrap. ...I guess the wrap could be bought over here and one could do similar. Anyone had any experience of wrapping RIFS? https://en.airsoftskinzone.com/aap01
  21. Naaaaah, it's simple really... you can buy the kits to replace the contact bars in the stock which already have a mini Tamiya connection... Using that method you don't need to touch the NGRS. I do plan on getting another MWS though... I fancy turning it into a L119A2 . It's just got to be done right? That's actually true...I have a NGRS which has a prommy 6.03 / purple hop/ and a spring guide... On a stock Marui piston it's pumping out 330fps!!! Go figure that one folks... But me be me, I'm ripping out the guts anyway and going all prommy inside.... I just like tinkering
  22. Gotcha. I’m 14 junctions down from you. I’m meaning to go up to Anzio too as a matter of fact. Also Gloucester prison sounds like an epic site which I want to try. I mainly play woodland truth be told where the Mk23 would work well, as you know. Anyway, back to the AAP-01. WA drum mag or the TAP drum mag???
  23. That site sounds interesting. Where do you play? Well did play?
  24. They really are easy to tinker with truth be told. You just need the right tools. But all you really need to do to them is change the spring, spring guide and a tight bore and purple prommy rubber. That’s it’s. Mind you, tight bore and a prommy purple can add up to 15fps if done properly so really you can leave the spring stock. But yeah get one from E6 and add your upgrades if you so desire.
