  1. I’m using a 50deg pink flamingo in my MK23 and it seems pretty decent. Although I’ve not managed to range test it properly beyond 40m as of yet.
  2. @PimanCrikey that’s a lot of upgrades. In fact that’s a damn good pic as it’s easier to see what can be changed and which brands to use. Looking forward to the build and the video review
  3. Ohhh Ohhh how exciting (is this wrong to feel that?)... I will expect a solid review squire...nothing short of 350bb's worth
  4. So, I was just browsing for "airsoft skins" and found this chap that does Camo Wraps for the AAP-01 (plus a few others). He's based in France though so not sure what the postage cost would be. He sells both the pre-cut templates below and also A4 sheets of the wrap. ...I guess the wrap could be bought over here and one could do similar. Anyone had any experience of wrapping RIFS? https://en.airsoftskinzone.com/aap01
  5. Naaaaah, it's simple really... you can buy the kits to replace the contact bars in the stock which already have a mini Tamiya connection... Using that method you don't need to touch the NGRS. I do plan on getting another MWS though... I fancy turning it into a L119A2 . It's just got to be done right? That's actually true...I have a NGRS which has a prommy 6.03 / purple hop/ and a spring guide... On a stock Marui piston it's pumping out 330fps!!! Go figure that one folks... But me be me, I'm ripping out the guts anyway and going all prommy inside.... I just like tinkering
  6. Gotcha. I’m 14 junctions down from you. I’m meaning to go up to Anzio too as a matter of fact. Also Gloucester prison sounds like an epic site which I want to try. I mainly play woodland truth be told where the Mk23 would work well, as you know. Anyway, back to the AAP-01. WA drum mag or the TAP drum mag???
  7. That site sounds interesting. Where do you play? Well did play?
  8. They really are easy to tinker with truth be told. You just need the right tools. But all you really need to do to them is change the spring, spring guide and a tight bore and purple prommy rubber. That’s it’s. Mind you, tight bore and a prommy purple can add up to 15fps if done properly so really you can leave the spring stock. But yeah get one from E6 and add your upgrades if you so desire.
  9. Oh yeah you wouldn’t even notice that In your jeans pocket mate..😂 What suppressor is that May I ask?
  10. Out of curiosity, As an airsoft replica is a gas Vector fun to use? I’ve actually never seen anyone use one ever! And if they have been discontinued what about after market parts etc... time to YouTube this and see what that fuss is all about
  11. The nature of this sale it seems stems around the fact it was a perceived bargain. We all want a bargain let’s face it... The rarity of the item adds to it. For some it’s a grail piece for others it’s a weird looking GBBR and would never bat an eye lid at it. Regardless of what it is the buyer should always do due diligence and ask questions. Assume nothing!
  12. You ain’t half right there about TM Dave. It’s by far one of the best manufactures of airsoft rifles hands down. They just work regardless of the platform. I run both NGRS guns and my MWS. Both have advantages and disadvantages. Both are fun to use. Both cost a bloody fortune if you so desire to go in that direction.
  13. It will be Interesting to see how PayPal handles this case. Either it’s a full refund excluding postage and believe me that can be difficult to get back or both parties may agree to a mutual understanding. Nevertheless this episode should be a reminder to everyone to ask all the fundamental questions when buying used gear. Sadly the current COVID situation does not help matters as you can’t try before you buy anymore.
  14. Welcome @SeanW!. You will definitely find this wee small thread a great source of all things MWS. There is a lot of knowledge and experience here that's for sure....! Dave's brass nub is a must and I also suggest the high speed buffer upgrade too. The only other back-up item you need is a nozzle spring (the original Marui will fail at some point but you will need to hammer it good and proper probably with a couple of years usage lol )... (see Badabing's YouTube reviews of the MWS). Eagle6 sell their version which will be fine as an alternative.. The Marui part is rare as rocking horse poop though as are all things Marui...
  15. May I ask, do you see flaring on the Eotech reticle, kinda like spiky flames? @Davegolfif I dropped mine 2m let alone 1m, I'd definitely cry... 🤣
  16. Every build is an inspiration.....! I know I'd like to see what you've done...
  17. @RMDavis Lookimg dandy there fella. I concur with both yourself and Dave re the condition of the EO and weathering the rest of the rifle to match. This is coming along very nice. Now the topic of screen protectors. This is where I differ. Keep it on buddy as you just never know. It’s not worth the risk however small it may be. No one else will notice it. I have one on mine plus I have a riser in front so double protection.
  18. I think I’ll leave the the stroking to my cat (no pun intended lol). The pistol seems good enough as is. As I have a H key and a flamingo pink rubber I’ll Chuck those in. I guess there is no point swapping out the inner barrel with a stainless steel tight bore right? Unless there is a crazy jet one??
  19. What advantage does that short stroking gizmo achieve?
  20. Give it some welly lad 😂 Thing is it’s good it’s on tight. The last thing one wants is a loose one. One needs ones buffer tube to be well tight in there. Right.? 🤔
  21. I need some what? 😂 Do it... it makes sense. I thought it didn’t. But this thing is just bonkers.
  22. Well I’ve only just gone and done it... My caramel plastic fantastic. Mucho grazie to @Spartan09 That auto really is insane. You need to see it for real to believe how bonkers it is in a pistol 😂
  23. It’s probably super loctited. Just apply a heat to it to melt/loosen the loctite. Obviously be careful when doing it. That sopmod wrench is really all you need and some Popeye spinach. Failing that a pack of McCoys crisps and Yorkie Bar and that will do the trick. Maybe a pint of Guinness too? Hmmmm
  24. My new t-shirt. It’s airsoft related. I just had to share lol
  25. Dave makes a good point here. If you need something just drop them an email and you’ll probably be put on a waiting list. There are other retailers of course who stock MWS parts. Google and you shall find them.
