  1. Nuprol gas is propane..... it's just mixed with other stuff to tone down it's power hence 1.0, 2.0, etc....
  2. The only way Is not Essex it’s Tokyo Marui Recoil. 😂
  3. He’s a traitor and part of the Rebel Alliance. I recognised his stench the first time I clicked on an Airsoft cheater video. . He has a friend.... i think 😂
  4. 18 soooon OMG I feel so old 😂 As @GAMBLEamd @Druid799have said hold out for a little more time before you decide. Let’s face it we won’t be playing for months anyway. Get to a few more games and see what others use and for sure ask for a go. Plus it will give you more time to save up. And then once you get three games under your belt and have the UKARA you won’t have to buy a two tone gun either. Unless you get gifted one by your friend again. And welcome... Oh crikey that’s an open ended question and will open up a debate. This may turn out to be a long thread 😂 First point is set yourself a budget. Simple as that. Say £350 max. That includes mags as well and any other bits. Then look at what’s available in that range and google it. Research. Check out AATV on YouTube. They do so many reviews. And recommending a RIF is very subjective. People prefer different brands. It can be a mine field.
  5. Aye that's a valid point... these are strange times we live in currently after all... Rumour has it we can shoot straight too and aways on target... we only miss to keep the U/PG rating lol
  6. Oh thanks a lot for that @Druid799I was about to have Heinz spaghetti on toast. I think I'll give it a miss now...😂
  7. you can drive a Ferrari or Lambo at stupid speeds on the Autostrade and the Carabinieri just turn a blind eye to it. I’ve seen it so many times when I was there it was surreal. Driving like an Italian is something else too. That space that’s in front of you is yours. At all costs 😂 So what was the purpose of this thread again??? Lol
  8. The colour of that New SL looks lighter than the other two. Mind you it’s new I suppose and that accounts for the lack of grime and goodness knows what else that CTR has been through 😂 it’s actually growing on me truth me told. Having these three together puts the Magpul designs into perspective. Suddenly the CTR looks a little dated! Shock horror.
  9. The United Kingdom Airsoft Retailers Association was formed in response to the 2006 Violent Crime Reduction bill to enable a safe method of selling Realistic Imitation Firearms (RiF's) to the UK Airsoft player market by confirming the eligibility of purchasers. > Will it keep the community safe? Not at all, but it is there to sell RIFS to legitimate players and therefore acts as a responsible instrument to show the authorities that there is self regulation within our sport. I believe if there was no UKARA then we would either all be running around with two tones or worse still the whole hobby would be stopped. Oz is an extreme example of course but there are countries where two tone is compulsory so we are in a good place with having UKARA. for that sole reason we should be thankful for the scheme. I appreciate there are some players who don't like the scheme as it stops them buying RIFS but look at the potential alternatives of not having the scheme and what could happen.
  10. Magpul stuff is just designed to work.... it does what it says on the tin... unless its a Chinese fake! Rifle ergonomics is important and it certainly helps with the game.. I've put on the Magpul MOE K grip on my rifle and it feels so superior to the Marui grip from a build quality... however, the Marui grip has a finger rest which I prefer and kinda makes it more comfortable than the Magpul grip coz my delicate fingers are rubbing against the Marui metal trigger guard! So to fix that wee issue the tigger guard is being replaced by a Magpul trigger guard which looks better and certainly has better ergonomics so which will make my rifle look better which in turn will make me play better (who am I kidding lol) and that's good for everyone
  11. Don’t forget he’s a master of stealth. You won’t see him coming. Right? 🤷🏻‍♂️ You’ll only know when you’ve been KM’d 😂 You only go to Italy for three things. 1. pizza 2. weather 3. 😆😆😆😆
  12. You can see this thread going on and on page after page...😂
  13. Sadly due to the pandemic they won’t be shipping to us just yet... but yeah their kit is really polished and spot on. A few of my PTW friends have the kits for their riffles and they are outstanding. Mind you so is the price tag! Roll on that lotto win!
  14. Where, where, where... sign me up.. 😂 Team Viagra. The airsoft team that hits its mark and shoots from the hip!! Thats a patch!!
  15. Us MWS lot are soooo hippy 🙌
  16. I was listening to Jamie’s Facebook live chat yesterday and the so called KM topic popped up. He was very diplomatic. It’s on the F&O Facebook group. Oh watch with a mask on he’s got a cold
  17. You're probably looking at a HAO type kit then? This is on my wish list.....
  18. If it’s a 50 shades of Tan throw it in my direction 😉
  19. Words of wisdom and logic there matey. Tell you one thing that wasn’t reduced. TM recoils. Not a sausage. In fact it seems prices crept up a wee bit unless it was a 416c but they just look pants (opens flood gates). 😂
  20. There was this squad of 6 known collectively as the rangers... well that's what we called them. They were all kitted out in the same team gear, with jar-head haircuts, full comms and so on... they even had team tattoos!!! They basically kept themselves to themselves..... with the odd small chit chat to anyone who dare speak to them. But the fact of the matter was tactically they worked so well together and dare I say it we were kinda wanting to be on their side.... it was obvious they had had group training and they knew their stuff...
  21. Hey speedy, let's hope it never comes to that! Nerfs!!! Upon reflection you're probably right about UKARA being a retailer benefit scheme in one sense of the word... but as a hobby we do self regulate which is inadvertently enforced by the sites we play at and then indirectly by the sensible actions we take as players... But going back to the topic of what to do for UKARA these days, if one is a regular player at a site I can't see why the site won't renew you... we are in exceptional times after all.... For new players I acknowledge it's a different kettle of fish. No one likes a two tone lets face it. But it's a necessity and the framework is there for a reason, whether you agree or not. Ideally the news guys have to get their three games in when airsoft starts up again just like we all had to do.... That is only fair and that's how it should be..... but you know what human nature doesn't work that way does it? You have a Spider man costume don't you? Own up! Go on..... #busted 😂
  22. I must admit even I was a tad surprised when I logged on the other day but hey ho. Sales are needed. I’m sure the proper due diligence will be done. . . Anyway, UKARA is there for a reason. It’s our way of self regulation to a degree. Otherwise we will end up like Australia and running around with Gel Blasters. It just takes one person to act like an idiot and bring our hobby into disrepute.
  23. There are various official cosplay clubs in the UK. If you can prove you belong to one of these clubs with evidence of you on their official events then that may well work. I find it hard to believe that any Tom Dick or Harry who has attended a comic con, as a paying public guest and not part of an official club, can then say it’s a defence. It’s not. Let’s be pragmatic here. However if you belong to an official club then that’s another matter (I’ve repeated myself). Let’s give Fire Support a little more credit. They have been retailers for 20plus years and they do know if people are trying to take the mickey.
  24. Exactly.... we are an island nation and we should have done what NZ did. Close down the borders.... If we had taken this course of action early and been really draconian about it we could have been out of the woods sooner. But I get it's a trade off between the economy and lives and politics. The scary thing is that once we get it under control and start to relax and then what do we do we the rest of the world in terms of business and leisure travel. Do we still shut them out until they also have it under control? 65% of the French said they will refuse any vaccine just as an example. So will France become a no-go zone? There will always be a new variant somewhere in the world, and pose a threat, as thats the nature of a virus. It evolves to it's environment it lives in... It want's to thrive. If current vaccines can't be effective against new strains then new vaccines will need to be developed and suddenly this may become a yearly vaccine way of life for us.... Bollocks aint it? Anyway, I've gone off topic..... back to BREXIT related taxation with is far more exciting to write about.....
