No chance it will be sorted before August. With all the new variants and other stuff happening things like the National Airsoft Event just won’t happen. Well not this year. . We will be lucky to play any airsoft this side of half year.

Aye, this is what many Europeans retailers need to do and I expect HMRC have a lot of work to do to issue such numbers etc. It will take time and we all just have to be patient. Although it’s frustrating when you want your bits now. Even though we won’t be playing for months yet.

@RMDavisLooking at the SL-K on the rifle it actually does work quite nicely... The compact, low profile design does flow well..... I may be warming up to it . Although, I can't understand the move for getting rid of the embedded QD point though. That reminds me, I must replace the trigger guard on mine too with some more aesthetically pleasing

Excellent..... I just use the single screw to for now... The left and right screws are there for fine tuning the trajectory of the bb if needed...

I think it’s a close call between Connery and Craig. Craig brought a vulnerability to Bond not seen before. Sky fall was showing the other day and I thought that’s a damn good movie and Craig’s portrayal of Bond I thought was really good. Then again I also watched Kindergarten Cop so what do I know. 😂

As Captain D has said the sixG brass nub helps you lift heavier bb's.... I tried some 0.4 Geoffs and blimey o'really... but remember range is dependant on power and weight and you cannot defy the laws of physics

The modify tan still seems to be the rubber of choice... I have it in mine too... although the original Marui in my opinion is better wearing... would be interesting to hear others opinions....

Don't use any cheapie QD's.... I wouldn't risk my MWS with them... Fire Support sell the PTS ones... they are pucker... (same as Magpul ones as a matter of fact but 1 inch buckle as opposed to Magpul 1.25") https://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/pts-1-qd-sling-swivel Oh the buffer tube will not snap! Unless you sit on it

Here's a thought, with an after market Magpul clone, one may need to be careful with the QD points on the stock perhaps? Are they strong enough to swing a sling off? At least with a real CTR the QD point is rock solid and you can swing anything off it so not worry about your gun dropping off the sling. Also this SLK design I'm sure would have had a lot of input/feedback from real world operators no doubt for it to have been manufactured..... It still looks too PTS to me..... but until I see one for real I'll reserve judgement

Talking of Magpul CTRs I believe this is the successor to it. The SLK. And no it’s not Merc inspired 😂 To be honest I’m not really feeling it! It doesn’t have the same wow feel as the CTR design does in my opinion. Of course I’ve not seen one in hand yet so that may change. Has anyone on here grabbed one yet?

Mine's the CQB version so the sling mount was already attached. And yes you do need to twist a number of times..... it's somewhere on this thread. Here's a thought, the easiest way I guess is to mark the buffer tube with some white dots and use that as a reference when you screw the buffer back on with the sling plate... It may be trail and error but its probably takes the guess work out. Or just count the number of twists when you remove it... simple really

It does look nice especially if you have the Magpul grip too. There is a little side to side movement but nothing to worry about. If you’re OCD about that then a little electrical tape on the buffer should fix it.

I run a mil spec CTR on mine....the friction lock engages nicely too. Rear sling mount > well its whatever you fancy really. Mine has the Marui CQBR/MK18 sling plate. Angry gun also does the same.. You can also get QD sling plates... There really is a lot of choice.

You actually do have a point..... With a magpul grip you no longer have that finger rest and even I with my manly hands find it a tad uncomfortable... but a pair of tactical mitts sorts it out... Alternatively a bit of Sugru will do it...
