  1. We should stick the pair of them on Squaddie Master Chef 😁
  2. That’s an interesting point about wanting to charge more than one battery at a time. Which ones are recommend in that case?
  3. I have used my original IMAX B6 for years and it’s still going strong. It’s the one I’d recommend. However make sure it’s an original. Hobbyking are reputable. They have been around for years.
  4. They are saying all adults above 18 will be offered the jab by July. Although how many over 18’s act as adults is another matter entirely. @Asomodai thoughts and prayers are with you buddy.
  5. Hopefully this will be the last lockdown but I hear the parks are full of people out enjoying the sunshine and it makes you wonder if that will be the case. We are fortunate in a sense that our sport is mainly outdoors. As long as we as players and site owners are sensible then there is hope and light at the end of this tunnel. Let’s see what the announcement brings.
  6. We’re a friendly bunch who just like shooting each other with 6mm plastic pellets 😂
  7. @Jamie33You’ll make lots of friends mate. Just turn up and start chatting to people. It’s simple. And when you become a regular at a site people get to know you. It’s all good fun. Marui recoil. Do it. You know you want to 😝.
  8. That’s a standard upgrade list. Pretty much what I have sense the lonex gears as I just go full prommy. Your motor will be the downfall though. Chuck in an upgraded motor. ASG infinity or an Action Army 30k preferably the former. Your setup will take you to 340fps easy on 0.2’s if not more. Now here’s the interesting bit. This will make you laugh. In one of my builds I have a prommy spring guide, a lonex nozzle, a prommy 275mm tight bore and a prommy purple. Running on a stock Marui spring/cylinder/cylinder head/piston. And I’m getting 330-333fps!!! I fell over laughing. I could believe that bump in power. For curiosity I’m gonna Chuck in a M95 and see what that does and then also change the piston/cylinder etc for full prommy and again see what the result is.
  9. All this talk of chocolate is giving me a sugar craving. Sod the Mars bars I’m having some Ferrero. 😂
  10. I like the idea of the carbine kits myself as suddenly you have a modular platform (well almost unless you have a spare barrel and hop unit which you can swap between standard and mental length). The 3d printer has allowed people to become creative and suddenly everyone is a prop designer in their own bedroom. Anyway, back to the point in hand.... if the alleged RIF is shooting over 350fps then it should be classed as a DMR / DMP and should be subject to a Airsoft sites DMR / DMP policy/rules.. of course it can't look like a pistol and this is where the crux of the argument is.
  11. So, I was just browsing for "airsoft skins" and found this chap that does Camo Wraps for the AAP-01 (plus a few others). He's based in France though so not sure what the postage cost would be. He sells both the pre-cut templates below and also A4 sheets of the wrap. ...I guess the wrap could be bought over here and one could do similar. Anyone had any experience of wrapping RIFS? https://en.airsoftskinzone.com/aap01
  12. No worries pal 👍🏼 What upgrades are you doing out of curiosity?
  13. I guess it's a cheap way for some to make their pistol into a sniper!. The amount of people using printed DMR kits is insane. They stick a long barrel on and wallop they have sub 400fps DMR's!!!!! @Bunny87your MK23 will be way over the site limit pal. Unless you intend to use it as a DMR then DMR rules will apply.
  14. Don't panic matey... These are TM gearboxes... this is how they are out of the factory...
  15. Naaaaah, it's simple really... you can buy the kits to replace the contact bars in the stock which already have a mini Tamiya connection... Using that method you don't need to touch the NGRS. I do plan on getting another MWS though... I fancy turning it into a L119A2 . It's just got to be done right? That's actually true...I have a NGRS which has a prommy 6.03 / purple hop/ and a spring guide... On a stock Marui piston it's pumping out 330fps!!! Go figure that one folks... But me be me, I'm ripping out the guts anyway and going all prommy inside.... I just like tinkering
  16. Gotcha. I’m 14 junctions down from you. I’m meaning to go up to Anzio too as a matter of fact. Also Gloucester prison sounds like an epic site which I want to try. I mainly play woodland truth be told where the Mk23 would work well, as you know. Anyway, back to the AAP-01. WA drum mag or the TAP drum mag???
  17. That site sounds interesting. Where do you play? Well did play?
  18. They really are easy to tinker with truth be told. You just need the right tools. But all you really need to do to them is change the spring, spring guide and a tight bore and purple prommy rubber. That’s it’s. Mind you, tight bore and a prommy purple can add up to 15fps if done properly so really you can leave the spring stock. But yeah get one from E6 and add your upgrades if you so desire.
  19. Oh yeah you wouldn’t even notice that In your jeans pocket mate..😂 What suppressor is that May I ask?
  20. Out of curiosity, As an airsoft replica is a gas Vector fun to use? I’ve actually never seen anyone use one ever! And if they have been discontinued what about after market parts etc... time to YouTube this and see what that fuss is all about
  21. The nature of this sale it seems stems around the fact it was a perceived bargain. We all want a bargain let’s face it... The rarity of the item adds to it. For some it’s a grail piece for others it’s a weird looking GBBR and would never bat an eye lid at it. Regardless of what it is the buyer should always do due diligence and ask questions. Assume nothing!
  22. You ain’t half right there about TM Dave. It’s by far one of the best manufactures of airsoft rifles hands down. They just work regardless of the platform. I run both NGRS guns and my MWS. Both have advantages and disadvantages. Both are fun to use. Both cost a bloody fortune if you so desire to go in that direction.
  23. It will be Interesting to see how PayPal handles this case. Either it’s a full refund excluding postage and believe me that can be difficult to get back or both parties may agree to a mutual understanding. Nevertheless this episode should be a reminder to everyone to ask all the fundamental questions when buying used gear. Sadly the current COVID situation does not help matters as you can’t try before you buy anymore.
  24. Welcome @SeanW!. You will definitely find this wee small thread a great source of all things MWS. There is a lot of knowledge and experience here that's for sure....! Dave's brass nub is a must and I also suggest the high speed buffer upgrade too. The only other back-up item you need is a nozzle spring (the original Marui will fail at some point but you will need to hammer it good and proper probably with a couple of years usage lol )... (see Badabing's YouTube reviews of the MWS). Eagle6 sell their version which will be fine as an alternative.. The Marui part is rare as rocking horse poop though as are all things Marui...
  25. May I ask, do you see flaring on the Eotech reticle, kinda like spiky flames? @Davegolfif I dropped mine 2m let alone 1m, I'd definitely cry... 🤣
