  1. Can I ask for an opinion on cnut or not? Site I was playing doesn't have a bang rule. My teams objective was to defend the village and we had two lives (hit once, move to a safe spot and you're back in, hit again and you're out). I was shot by a younger player from my own team but friendly fire counts so I take it as my first life. I moved in to the same room as the kid who'd just shot me and notice that someone from the opposing team had entered behind him and was asking him which team he was on. I also noticed the guy asking was on the opposite team (guy asking hadn't noticed/acknowledged me). So shot him once in the plate carrier. At which point he proclaims that we are both out because he could have shot the kid if he wanted to and chose not to. I understand he was trying to be nice to a younger player, which is the correct thing to do. However that exchange didn't include me and my actions kept us both in the game. IMO you shouldn't be able to clear multiple opponents by asking one of them which team they're on.
  2. I disagree with this as have been on the wrong side of it. It may have even been the first time I went airsofting. Mate and I saw the guy walking casually (even had hand "half" in the air), assumed he'd been shot or just leaving the game. Said player then appears behind us and teamates then opens fire. I just think it leads to players overshooting, which as we all know can sour the day. "Even though that guy is talking to the Marshall he doesn't have his hand up, he's fair game" "That person appears just to be looking for a lost mag but you never know" "That older fella who's knackered doesn't have his hand up, even though he's walking away".... Light 'em up boys! You shouldn't have to clearly layout every rule in a honour based game. Much like if there's no bang rule and someone gets the drop on me, I'll take it.
  3. Does anyone know how to get the backstrap off? I was under the impression they're removeable but can't get the thing to budge.
  4. Deffo. Hoping that you're on only going to lose £250 and sell it as a job lot (especially when it was originally two tone and some stuff is broken/marked) is the very definition of this thread title. Sadly they'd be fortunate to get £500 as a package.
  5. Just got the news that someone I played with on Saturday has tested positive for the 'rona. Hoping it was someone from the other team (and they hadn't coughed on their BB's).

You will be ok. I've heard that you're too ugly for bugs to settle. 🤭

  6. Wondering if it might even be the opposite issue, the gas being too powerful. I use Nuprol 2.0 as a baseline and go from there.
  7. What sort of temperatures are you shooting in? I have an Umarex Glock 19X and I've always been amazed how well it performs when I've shot indoors at home or briefly in the garden. However I used it last Saturday and noticed the same issue once it was properly cold. The slide moved back every time but it only racked a BB every second shot.
  8. After much deliberating I've just ordered one of these for myself. Also went for a 200MM suppressor so I can extend an inner barrel through it if need be.
  9. About the MK23 in general though, the magazines are a bit shit. One of my gripes is the follower is a bitch to keep down while you're filling with BB's and the trigger is arthritic but then again you don't buy one for SpeedQB, you buy it for lifting heavy ammo far and quietly. If that's what you're after, then it's in a class of its own.
  10. Been looking at the M907D - can you disable to Falcon System and install a regular mosfet if needed?
  11. Or just get a SSX23 with metal slide, maple leaf inner barrel and hop bucking with TDC. Only annoyance is buying the suppressor separately.
  12. Can't talk...airsofting!

  13. I suppose it depends. I like to take photos for my ads outdoors so you can properly see condition in the natural light. I recently posted a Glock ad with a surefire replica that's not included. Purely because they were the only decent photos I had on my phone and it'd been pissing it down for three days solid. Also I could understand if it's a sniper rifle/DMR and you want to give a better idea of what it looks like with accessories (lots of retailers do this too). My main gripe is 1 x blurry/dark photo along with no indication of condition/how much use it's had. I mentioned this before but in my eyes second-hand can mean "I've beaten this to hell and fancy a nice shiney new one, so anyone want to put towards that by buying what's left of this one?" or "I was bored during lock down and picked this up but realistically I'm not going to skirmish it" Plus of course not including PayPal fees.
  14. Why yes, I do hate myself. Thanks for asking....

  15. Think of it as a golf-style handicap for more mature players....anyone under thirty can figuratively and literally jog on!
  16. Looks awesome man! I wouldn't entirely disagree with you. My upper body is OK but my lower back has started to play-up in recent years - probably because I work in an office and spend way to much time sitting down. Need to do more walking/cycling after work.
  17. You went full Kicking Mustang, man. Never go full Kicking Mustang.
  18. That's fair enough. I'm 30 years younger and have done the same on occasion!
  19. I actually think this is far more common than not taking hits at all. I've seen members of my own team take hits, walk back a few paces then come back in. I've tried both approaches, talking to them directly and having a word with a Marshall, neither seems to change the behaviour. They're usually rentals or players who seem to turn up for a few weeks in a row, never to be seen again. I'd go mad if I tried Marshalling at my local site. They get a lot of rentals who dry fire in the safe zone, use their rifles to prop themselves up in the mud and instinctively lift their eye pro up to cooldown. Plus of course the lack of hit taking/not taking it properly. Not to say regulars never commit those fouls!
  20. I was at Tactical Warfare Airsoft in Croydon on Saturday. I'd been feeling burnt out with airsoft but wanted to force myself to go, so wasn't expecting much. Surprisingly I had an excellent day. 12C, so chilly at first but perfect for running around. They have limited the number of players to 60 (peak days they used to get 150+) who have pre-booked and that seemed the perfect number. I think @Asomodai did a review noting high numbers leading to a lot of spraying and praying and not much in the way of tactics. With 60 there were enough to have a decent number of targets but still being able to pick your shots and move forward without facing a constant hail of BB's. Also the first time using my FDE Scorpion Evo and it performed excellently, especially once I'd dialled in my red dot. My only gripe, was the same one I always have with airsoft, the lunch break is too long. I'd be fine with half an hour to chow down and get back out there but they always seem to stretch 1hr 30 - 2hrs and not only do I get bored but my muscles cooldown and seize up too much! Still I stayed for the second half and again everything went well until my gun seemingly jammed. It was only half an hour or so before the end, so called it a day. Got the cleaning rod out when I got home but there didn't seem to be anything blocking the barrel. A peak up the magwell revealed a spring around the nozzle and I quickly realised where the one from my bottle of BB's had ended-up (I had noticed it missing earlier in the day but couldn't be arsed to do anything about it). It must have been poured in to my hi-cap mag and fed through! Fortunately I was able to do a basic disassembly and it doesn't seem to have done any damage. Long story short, I'm back in the game baby!
  21. £30 for postage! Although to be fair, they've managed to modify M4 magazines so they fit in M4 pouches...genius!
  22. You can even buy it with the A5 stock already fitted for the same as the other versions.
  23. Not only that but take a secondhand Marui pistol for example. If it's £100 + £15 postage + £4 fees = £119. Quite often you can find the same pistol brand new and with postage (and yes Paypal fees) included from firesupport for £10 - £15 more.
  24. This is one of my pet peeves. Which other way is there to pay? Unless I knew the seller well I wouldn't feel comfortable paying cash upon collection. Plus at least state how much extra postage cost (I know in this case they've stated "free" but in general) would be. Plus of course it's overpriced. These are £400 new, 4 x mags and a foregrip don't warrant £340 on top of the £240 (at 60% value for the RIF alone).
