I don't understand why people are even bothering to discuss KM. He makes normal gameplay videos - few thousand views over the course of several weeks. Makes sod all money. He makes clickbait and overly confrontational videos showing he purposely goes for headshots - appeals to the non airsofter "lads" and COD teens crowd, plus gets regular airsofters discussing him non-stop. Millions of views a week & some serious cashola. Whether what he is doing for airsoft is good or bad is a moot point. I'm sure he knows why people have issues with him but doesn't care because either way, video views pay the bills. If airsoft sites don't like what he's doing, they should just make it clear he's not welcome to play there. If enough do it, he'll run out of gameplay content.

How does it work with the mags which are designed to take 6mm BB's?

Not sure to be honest but it's not really that important. If you want to get a bit more out of the performance I recommend a ZCI 6.02mm, ZCI plastic hop chamber, 60 degree maple leaf and omega nub. Which would come to a total of about £30 on AK2M4 and will take you to a level that is ample for what most people would expect from one of these guns.

I have to agree with this. Great as a conversation piece between airsoft collectors and if people are willing to pay that much for that, then that's their choice. However for most these obviously aren't worth it, which is why it seems like even the majority of people who pick one up, sell it on a few months later.

I'm using UKARA as managed to renew mine in September. I know some retailers are accepting recently expired UKARA numbers, due to the current situation but sounds like you wouldn't be eligible for that?

Why do you think I ordered 2 x DE M904's + CYMA Platinum 097D (which Negative Airsoft is starting work on today and may well make a video on) back in December, when they first announced this.

Yeah the "350" I've had from them dances around the 340 mark, so perfect for most of us.

With a battery in, put it in safe and pull the trigger until you hear a long beep. This signifies that you have reset to factory settings, so you'll need to re-do trigger sensitivity etc too.

Fuck me, are we really all THAT bored. In the last few weeks we've discussed Trump/Biden, "Toxic Masculinity", spent way too much time on KM and now real firearms regulation. I second @herosharks notion.

I think generally most people go to have a fun day (winning a few exchanges, chatting with mates and showing off their new equipment) and are not too bothered about sticking to a strict tactic or formation etc. As I mentioned in another thread, airsoft has more in common with first person shooter computer games than it does an actual war environment. Running around my local woods with a BB gun doesn't equate to me believing this is how Vietnam was or something. As such I'm happy to let everyone play at their own pace. I do offer basic advice to novices who are clearly in need of it, especially when I know the site very well but it's just friendly advice. I would never dream of barking orders at someone and quite frankly I would think anyone who did, was a cock. I would rather take airsoft tips from an experienced airsofter over someone who was inexperienced at the game but had served in the Military. I should add, I have no issues with anyone who does want to employ military tactics...again, from my experience everyone is happy doing their own thing.

@alxndrhll - Yeah I guess once we're running around it's all much the same. Totally get what you mean about eyepro, I briefly owned a dye i4 and it seemed a great bit of kit but I prefer wearing my prescription glasses under my eyepro and with the dye it was them that fogged up. Also the price of them has shot up since the one I bought for £70....regardless may have to look into getting another if I get into it as they obviously offer far superior protection.

As someone who has only ever played woodland sites, my airsoft kit is mostly greens and tans/FDE. I also prefer the look of RIF's in these colours. However I'm quite keen to get more involved in indoor CQB from time to time (yes, obvs when they re-open). So my question is, does everyone wear black and use black RIF's etc? I guess if it's dark inside, black is the best "camo". I've just ordered a GHK G5 in tan and wondering if as a CQB gun it'd be better in black for the above reason.

After watching the first part of that vid (can't be arsed to go any further), I'm pretty sure he knows what he's doing with clickbait, trolling and fake hit markers. He's appealing to young and or/new players and those who have never played. The best thing experienced airsofters can do, is not waste any brain space on him and his antics.

It's the answer to the riddle: When's a sidearm, not a sidearm? Definitely a case of limited production and gimmick appeal leading to impulse purchases. Seems like the kinda thing that get's bought on a whim, then sold, bought on a whim then sold, rinse and repeat.

That's good, a fairly minor issue too! Have you done any modifications, such as epoxy? (or is that not needed on the newer gen?) What sort of FPS are you getting out the box?

Hope you're keeping safe n' sound! Long-story, short - In terms of usability my preferred RIF's are SMG's & PDW's. In my collection I have 2 x EVO 3A1's, 2 x DE Honey Badgers and a fairly short CYMA Platinum M4 (like @L3wisD I was also a Sad Panda over not being able to impulse the new platinum MP5). I also prefer to only have guns I think I would enjoy using in a game, so while I Love the look of the TM M4A1 and other bigger/heavier guns, I think in terms of GBBR I'd get along a lot better with a GHK G5. Because I've got 5 x very easy to use AEG's, I'm not worried about winter use etc, just want to play a more challenging style where I'm not tempted (or able) to just spray n' pray. Are they fun, reliable and decent performing guns? I actually briefly owned one but it was second-hand, beat to hell and functioned like crap.
